Holiday Inn Auckland Airport

Overall was good and the room space was good enough too. And very convenient because have yellow bus shuttle to n from airport. One thing no good was the hotel did not have lift. But the staff was very helpful to helped us carried the luggage up to second floor.

The service was very good and if we will return to Auckland definitely we will stay there again

We are super disappointed at Holiday Inn hotel due to the following reasons: 1) Dusty rooms The room is dusty n a bit dirty, try not to look into the balcony it’s super dirty outside that no people would like to walk out at all. The air conditioner in room and the fan in toilet are full of dust as well, so you can imagine about the air quality in room 2) No lifts and super long corridor Though we have stored our luggages at reception due to we just stayed for few hours at hotel for rest only and head to the airport at 3am, we still feel shocked that there’s lifts for reaching our room and the corridor is so long that it takes us more than 5 minutes to arrive our room. We can’t imagine how we manage that if we carry our suitcases with us. 3) No staffs present at reception When we checked in, the staff confirmed us that there will be staffs present at reception all the time (24 hours). However, when we do check out at 3am and wish to collect our luggage’s stored at reception to head to airport, we can reach NO staffs at all. We found the staffs for ten minutes but still we see no people, not until the airport bus come the staff showed up. It caused us nearly miss out our flight. 4) Poor attitude of some staffs The missing staffs at reception showed black face to us without a apologise. We are super disappointed about that. We must not choose Holiday Inn again if we come Auckland. Suggest all other tourists to think over when you book this hotel.
