Dating from 1849, the sumptuous rooms at Pennyhill Park have free WiFi, four-poster beds, quality linens and a pillow menu. The beautiful bathrooms have fluffy robes, bespoke toiletries and rain showers.

The stay was lovely, our room was so nice and also received a few upgrade which was a bonus. Great service from Roy in the Ascot Bar :) The spa was a welcomed retreat. We will most def be back.

I recently visited Hillfield restaurant at Pennyhill Park with my family for Sunday lunch, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The food and service were absolutely fantastic and very tasty, with each dish perfectly prepared. We'd like to extend a special note to Adam, who took great care of us throughout the afternoon and made the experience even more wonderful. The atmosphere was pleasant and we never felt rushed, making it a truly memorable Sunday lunch. We will definitely be returning again.

I really don’t want to write about all the fabulous things this place has to offer as I want availability when I plan to come back!!! The staff are tremendous. The front desk team work to high levels of professionalism and friendliness. On return visits, they always remember you and it feels like coming home. Just brilliant! A quick shout out to Sue in the Spa Reception would is impeccable in trouble shooting and making all her hard work look effortless. She is the best! Thank you Sue for sorting out my inability to sleep without my eye shield which I’d forgotten. Sue, you’ve made my trip and I so appreciate how fabulous you are! Effortlessly superb! We’re still here and yes I will definitely be back. Thank you.

We have just returned from a one night stay at Pennyhill Park. There were some really lovely touches with the hotel marking my husband’s 40th with a bottle of fizz and card in the room. I ordered a chocolate mousse cake as a surprise - this was absolutely delicious!! We were upgraded to a Heritage room - the decor was not to our taste but very clean and comfortable. We were surprised there was no fridge in the room so UHT milk, no towel rail to hang a towel on, tiny mirror by the dresser and average hair dryer. The shower power was pretty poor - it didn’t feel particularly 5 star. However the reception staff were welcoming and there was a good atmosphere across the hotel. The spa has good facilities and thermal rooms, however the most disappointing aspect was the smell on entering the spa. You would expect gorgeous herbal scents but what you get is the smell of the deep fat fryer from the restaurant and this travels across the spa - it is a little off putting. Luckily it doesn’t travel to the thermal area. To elevate the spa it could really do with some extra decor, botanicals etc it feels a bit soulless currently. Overall a nice stay but our dining experience at The Latymer was exceptional!!

What an amazing weekend, even better than I had remembered. The christmas decorations added to the ambience, a really lovely relaxing and chilled weekend. Spa is still the best I've been to in the UK, all the different scented rooms are beautiful and it was lovely been in the outdoor hot tub with the rain coming down on you! Food and service impeccable, all the staff were very friendly and polite, a special shoutout to Harry in Highfield bar, Legend!!

Have stayed at Pennyhill many times over the years. Beautiful property that blends old with modern and one of the best spas in the country in my opinion. This does come at a cost - very expensive to stay/dine and be treated. On this occasion having booked a room we'd previously stayed in we discovered a noise issue - having asked to be moved, we were and with minimal fuss - and to an equal if not superior room, so kudos to the front desk for that. There's one area though that has been a let down pretty much since post-Covid re-opening. The breakfast offering is really quite sub-standard - in terms of what's on offer as well as service. It is certainly nowhere near the standard you'd expect of a hotel of this quality. Poor cold buffet selection, and hot food from the a-la carte menu that is frequently not hot/incorrect vs what is ordered. Pre-Covid there was an extensive hot buffet which was fantastic - now even basic pastry items are just average. I tried avocado toast (covered in spicy chilli flakes) and poached eggs (undercooked and cold) which actually gave me a dodgy tummy later in the day.... enough said. Please Penny Hill management can you sort this breakfast thing out ASAP? It ruins what is otherwise a great experience. The £7 breakfast cafe in Bagshot is way better.
