Rai House Sanur Reviews

Rai House is a great homestay in Sanur, within walking distance to the beach and fast boat jetty to Nusa Penida. The place was clean, cozy, and felt like home. Thank you for the excellent service and your kindness, Mr. Rai.

Checked in on 2/28 and returned to Taiwan on 3/1, the shortest trip ever. The toilet door handle was broken and completely unusable, like a decoration. The room smelled moldy when opened, the bed also smelled, and the check-in counter was like a ruin. Originally, I just wanted to be close to the port and stay for one night, but don't book this room again, because it is in a very alley, it is difficult for cars to enter, and it is dangerous to go out to buy things in the alley because it is dark and there are no street lights. I should be the most unlucky one, I walked out to buy food and was bitten by a dog, the wound was very deep, and I immediately bought a ticket back to Taiwan, because dog bites are a disease that cannot be ignored. The whole vacation ended just like that. 

1. The location is in a small alley, which is very narrow. It is inconvenient for cars to drive in, so many Grab drivers will cancel the ride and do not want to take the ride. You have to walk to the main road to get a driver. 2. It was already time for us to check in, but the boss asked us to wait until the cleaning was completed before checking in. This was fine, but when we checked in after cleaning, there was still visible garbage on the ground, and the floor felt sticky when stepped on. of 3. The door to the room is difficult to close and even more difficult to lock. It takes a while to lock and open every time. 4. The lights are much darker. Although the lights are dim to look relaxed, it is too dark and it is difficult to see the things in the luggage. 5. We arrived at night after a hard day and wanted to take a comfortable hot bath and have a good rest, but there was no hot water. We asked the boss to come and see it. The boss only said that he was sorry that it was broken and could only repair it tomorrow. He was really speechless and did not help. We thought there was no other way, but it was really irresponsible. After washing with cold water, we found that the room did not come with a hair dryer. We asked the boss, and the boss gave me the hair dryer and said that I would have to return it to him after use. 6. Finally, after taking a shower, I wanted to lie down on the bed to rest. When I lay down on it, the bed sheets had a distinct smell of dampness. I was very helpless. I wanted to ask why the rating was so high. I found that the person who gave the low rating wrote that the bed sheets had a damp smell. This is Why didn't I notice my landmine? 7. The only advantage is that the dogs in the B&B are very cute Everything I wrote is true and not exaggerated. I originally wanted to say that it is close to the port and has high reviews, but it turned out to be a mistake. I would like to share it with you.

We stayed for a few nights, everything you need is there, it's cozy and clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious. We also rented a bike from them and ordered a transfer to the airport.

It's very different from the pictures. It's damp and dirty. The sheets and quilts smell. I asked the boss to change the sheets and quilts. The quilt core is particularly dirty.
