Excellent room. Really big with nice sitting area, balcony, good working desk. Also loved the bathroom.
Had some problems getting the safe to work but eventually were fixed.
There is not much micro economy outside and just one restaurant. I did manage to get Grab from the hotel.
The hotel runs a great shuttle to Semarapura and Goa Lawah, it's free but you tip the driver and guide and pay for entry to the various sites.
The spa area is nice but the treatment I had was not very good.
This is the first overseas project of Hoshinoya, a luxury brand owned by Japan Hoshino Group, located in the valley of Ubud! Extremely quiet! Among the valleys where negative ions are bursting, the entire hotel is expected to be in 27 villas, each with an artificial canal (pool). The most surprising thing is that the yoga classes here are available for free, morning and evening, and can also be inserted. If you are tired of Indonesian food, you can eat Japanese food. I stayed at the hotel for five days and ate for five days. The ingredients are not greasy, it is amazing, especially for breakfast! Every service staff in the hotel is a little embarrassed. The hotel is mainly European, American and Japanese. It is very quiet. It is suitable for relaxing and reading books. The free Bird's Nest afternoon tea is very delicious. Different tastes, the hotel also It is very interesting to have a library. All the equipment and furniture in the room are mainly made of logs! The bathtub in the bathroom is too big! It is the size of a Japanese bath! Three people have great wine making in it! Hahahahaha, there is also a daily free bath salt available. Toothbrush is a big brand of OLEB, very angry. The hotel offers several free shuttle buses to downtown Ubud every day and pick them up for free! Invincible!

Location is out of the common tourist area in Bali, being right across Bali Safari. It is about 15 minutes away from Sunsri Jewelry House and Bali Bird Park, which were our fave destination.
Black sand beach has strong wave so it isnt for leisure. You can only see but you shouldnt go there to play.
We had a great stay, thanks to the friendly resto team (there is only 1 resto) and the lovely breakfast (you can order waffle or pancake, which isnt displayed in buffet spread)
They are rebranding, recently managed by iHG. Still have renovation ongoing. Room smell a bit moldy due to the wooden bathroom door, hopefully they will replace & solve that soon.
There are many check-in locations near the hotel. This time I stayed in a villa room.
The entrance is very large and clean. There are not many mosquitoes as expected. Because it is always close to the woods, there must be insects. The hotel spa is very cheap. The only drawback is that there is not much to eat nearby.
The hotel has a very nice vibe with nature. The room is clean, and the food is good but it takes around 30-40 min for food order as the hotel needs to order to the main restaurant located outside of the hotel. The food price in the hotel is affordable and delicious. The breakfast is acceptable but not very good. The swimming pool and the design of the hotel is very nice and make you feel relaxed. A good value for money and highly recommended to try when you are in Ubud and looking for affordable and clean and nice stay.
The Wakanda is more than just a resort, it's a feeling, it's a sense of freedom. As you step through the hexagonal gateway balancing your natural energy, you are entering your own tropical oasis surrounded on all sides by a natural wonderland. The Wakanda resort is for travellers looking for a heavenly escape from the grind of daily life. Located in Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali and only a stone's throw away from the rural Sumampan village, the resort and surrounding area boast endless opportunities to unwind and relax, whilst getting off the beaten path and exploring some of Bali's hidden gems such as the beautiful Sumampan waterfall.
Very interesting Villa. Staff were very helpful and quick in attending to us. The tech inside the villa was amazing with the projector, shower controls, kitchen facilities and red room. Location was a bit out of way but would definitely recommend for anyone wanting an interesting stay with their partner.
Very nice and quiet place.
Very comfortable bed. Normal breakfast. Only coffee from a bag, but overall ok)
The view from the room is beautiful.
The only downside for me personally is that I was riding a bike in the evening. Getting there in the dark on your own is inconvenient, since the roads are mostly all dark.
Everything else is great.
The hotel room is sooo big. I stay a night with my family and 6 people, the staff is super friendly and the room is quite spacious, good and have a good night sleep in there!
Reccomended for a big family

Excellent
IIan DennisWonderful oasis of calm and comfort. Excellent service from this family run business. Away from the busy tourist areas but easy road access to mount batur area as well as the coast including blue lagoon. We would definitely recommend a stay here to see the real beauty of Bali
ААлександр Безфамильный (sauwork)Hotel and standard rooms, corresponds to pictures.
Location only for those with transport , in the nearest district nothing but the highway and the unswimmable beach.
Minus in karma for having replaced my booked room with a large bed with a room with two - allegedly booked cost more than indicated on the site , in general it is not nice to change the terms of the deal to find. , good service does not do so.
GGuest UserWhat a fabulous stay! Beautiful, clean and away from the hustle and bustle. A ten minute walk through a traditional village, to reach a newly opened waterfall to the public called Gatep! This booking included free breakfast which was delicious and aesthetically appealing, I was offered two breakfasts as my booking was for two guests! I opened for a meal and a side of fruit instead, and there was also a complimentary afternoon tea too! I had a bit of a tummy bug and ordered more tea and was Informed that fresh pots were complimentary too!
I asked about the local waterfall after I had checked out and the hotel staff member Emma gave me some information and even offered me a lift as she was going home for lunch, I was happy to walk but on her way down she offered again and then also called to organise a guide for me.
I got rained on walking back and the staff got me a towel and offered for me to change etc and then let me order some tea and pancake bananas while I waited for the rain to stop and to organise I lift.
Honestly the best hotel/ villa stay experience I’ve had in the three times I’ve been to Bali! Highly recommend.
QQixinI made a mental note that my next Bali trip would be situated in Ubud rather than anywhere else, and one reason that contributed to that was Odessa Villages! The location was rather far from Ubud centre (30 mins car ride) but thats just what we wanted, to have a more serene spot. The hotel area itself was filled with greenery; tropical trees and florals were your accompany. The bedding sheets and pillows were clean and fluffy, not common amongst the hotels we had to stay in. The room is mostly decorated in rattan and wood, giving it an earthly scent. The toilets were ok, but heater was on-an-off. Food in the morning was decent.
NNobertI booked 2 rooms for 2 nights.
Strategic location on the side of the road, there are stalls and supermarkets close by.
The swimming pool is clean and spacious.
The bedroom is clean, the AC is cold, there is a kettle for making hot coffee/tea. Very fast wifi, Android TV.
With a price of under 500K, it's very worthy in my opinion. The service from the man guarding there is very friendly.
A friend of mine suddenly came to visit and spent the night so there were 3 of us in the room, and my bro and I didn't get hit there.
I didn't try breakfast, because I'm a culinary expert in Ubud, so we ate outside.
Thank you very much, highly recommend
NNurhaniThe road to the villa is too dangerous, narrow and dark, it is not like the road, we dare not walk out, we have to pick up and drop off, even the driver has not said that the dangerous road, follow the road, all good.
