Hotels Near Uluwatu Temple in Bali

Monkey 🐒 Hotel, original ecology, full of monkeys! In the morning and evening, when the sun is not out, monkeys run everywhere. You can see them everywhere, grabbing food and drinks! The hotel is at the southernmost end, on the cliff. If it is not the outermost row of houses, there will be obstructions. The location of the hotel is actually not the best viewing position for sunrise and sunset. The hotel environment is still very good, clean and tidy, and the service is also OK. The hotel meal fee is a bit expensive. I stayed for three days and had dinner at the hotel. I can call it to the house for BBQ.

Like always we had a very pleasant stay in Abi Bali Resort again. It’s very quiet, the Swimmingpool is clean. We enjoyed the afternoon tea. The breakfast was delicious. We had many menu choices with fresh poached eggs Benedict. The stuff is very attentive and if you have any items, the friendly stuff helps you immediately. We really enjoyed our short stay, booked the next two days in Mutiara Resort, next to Abi Bali, the same company. The place is quiet. So it is a perfect resort for relaxing. There is also a Spa with a Koi Pont enjoying relax your body. We will come again and off course we recommend this hotel! Thank you so much for a beautiful stay here! See you again! We booked a villa, the staff is always smiling, friendly and extremely helpful even when a light was not working at night we got this fixed in no time. The restaurant and the sky bar have a great selection of food and beverages, while the room and overall facility were in good shape and clean. Would definitely recommend for a chill holiday in Bali, only thing to note is that the restaurants nextdoor create a lot of smoke when lighting up the BBQs but once you figure out the timing and location it's easy to avoid. Would visit again, thanks again to all staff for making our stay very pleasant!

Arriving at the hotel I immediately smelled the mould. The hotel is beautiful but smells. We were kindly received at the door, they picked up our luggage, and served us a welcome drink while we did the check in. I started to sneeze and my nose clogged so I explained I was allergic to dust and I would like a room with more sunlight and wind. When we entered the room the musty smell was unbearable. I immediately complained and they promptly found another room without carpets. I believe it was an upgrade. They also sent us an apology card with fruits and chocolates. Unfortunately, the new room was still smelly, not as smelly as the first one, but we accepted as we were super tired and didn’t want to wait any longer. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Shower pressure was fantastic Breakfast was great, they had options like avocado toast, salmon bagel, burritos, and a variety of international options Bed was comfortable Swimming pool Temperature was perfect and the bar very convenient with great drinks Beach is clean and not crowded Sunset is beautiful The restaurants had a good environment and good food. A bit pricey, but overall worth it. Cons: Mould. This is actually the only reason I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The smell is in the room and the entrance mainly. The rest of the areas are okay. This hotel was built in 1993, so I have to say that if it wasn’t for that, the hotel would be in amazing condition. Service by the pool was very slow, my husband tried to get a beer first thing when he arrived and only after calling the waiter twice they brought him the beer, but it was room temperature! 😞 Coconut water and beer were not cold, they actually offered ice, but it just made it watery and tasteless. Bike rental can only be used inside the hotel, and they don’t tell you that when you rent it. I tried to go out to cycle in the surrounding area and they didn’t allow me to go. After complaining, the charged me half price for the rent. I only used inside the hotel and at the beach in front of the hotel. Concierge service was very slow and inefficient. He didn’t have packages to offer, photos, or videos. Everything was searched on Google right in front of us. The only option given was a private driver that could take us anywhere we wanted to go. The problem is that we didn’t know the places, so we were expecting a better introduction to the island and the activities. We ended up doing our own research and hiring the driver. Transfer from hotel to airport costs 430,000 RP, but if you get a grab (similar to Uber/Didi) it will cost you less than 80,000 RP. Overall, the hotel is a good option if you can tolerate the smell. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise it was a great stay for the price.

The best customer service I've ever experienced. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants at the hotel, the rooftop restaurant/bar serves really delicious food. There is a gorgeous spa where you can get different treatments and massages. There is an amazing spot where you can watch the sunset. The pool has it's own little bar so you can have a cocktail in the pool. There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel and the beach is across the street from the hotel. The rooms at the hotel are really clean, it's better to get a room with a balcony so that you are able to dry your swimsuit and towels etc. This is a really good choice for a holiday in Bali. I would definitely come back here.

Convenient hotel near airport. Friendly helpful staff. A pity the pool hours are so limited: 8am to 8pm. It makes it hard to go for a quick dip before breakfast if you have any activities organised for the day. And it is a shame to not be able to have a dip after dinner, to relax after you have had a day which often involves lots of walking. Other places I've stayed in Indonesian have more pool friendly times of 7am-9pm, which the family has always appreciated. These hours don't disturb other guests. Would be great to see them extended.

The location is ideal: it is close to the airport and a short walk to the main street for food and drinks. This villa is advertised as newly built in 2024, and the only drawback is the management. The floor is extremely sticky, and the room we were given was not thoroughly cleaned. After nine days in Papuan and Manggis, we only stayed here for one night to make the journey to the airport easier, but we had to clean the incredibly filthy floor. Although the office is normally empty, the counter person was lying on the sofa with the phone playing on the earphones and the air conditioner running full blast at night. It is strange that they work the other way around, and the office gets hot during the day without air conditioning. There is no fridge in the room. The shower faucets were rusted.

The pool villla was great, two large bedrooms and bathrooms with a good size pool and a day bed to relax. Staff were very nice and always happy to help. Food was good and special note to Frida at the restaurant for great service and always with a smile. The spa is also very good and special thanks to the spa staff. Highly recommended. We had a very nice stay.

I had an amazing stay at the Nusa Dua Renaissance Resort! The room was spacious, very clean, and offered a stunning view of the swimming pool—absolutely perfect for relaxing. The pool itself was fantastic, beautifully maintained, and a great spot to unwind. The location of the resort is another highlight; it’s convenient yet tranquil, offering the perfect balance for a getaway. The international breakfast buffet was truly superb, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to suit every palate. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great amenities, and excellent service!
