"It is located in Nubian Village on the Nile River. You can travel to and from the main island by public ferry for 10 Egyptian pounds. It seems that they offer a free ferry at any time for check-in and check-out. Also, Baky, who helped us, was quick to respond and very helpful! We were able to ask anything and he was flexible, so we had no trouble staying there. Also, unlike the main island, the people in Nubian Village don't tout, and the children are adorable, so it was a really relaxing place. Please come and visit."

GGuest UserThe iconic location and legendary charm of the Old Cataract speak for themselves, and the quality of the Sofitel Legend brand is absolutely top-notch. During my trip to Egypt, I stayed at several excellent hotels, including Mena House, Rixos, and Waldorf Astoria, but for me, the rooms here were by far the most impressive. The balcony was incredible, offering breathtaking, panoramic views of the Nile. The entire hotel is simply stunning. The service was also exceptional. The only minor drawback was perhaps the somewhat limited breakfast selection. Otherwise, everything else was perfect!

After all, at this price, what kind of bicycles do you want, the owner of the hotel is good, English is all ok in the local area, the old man is a teacher, there are three sons, one is working in Saudi Arabia, one is a soldier, and there is a local travel agency to work, opening this hotel is also subsidized for home use, very friendly to the Chinese, Real people, more than 20 years ago, moved from Abu Simbe to Aswan for a better life, and chatted with them, you can learn that the locals in Egypt are really not as bad as they say on the Internet
But the disadvantage is that it is not easy to find. If it is not for the local driver, it is difficult to find. The location is relatively biased. Although Egyptian security is OK, women are not recommended to go alone at night.

Unlike noisy Aswan - the hotel is a very pleasant and comfortable place to rest from vain.
Very clean rooms, there are showers with hot water, and other amenities.
The administrator is a very polite and caring young man.
There is a cafe with a view to the Nile at the hotel.
The island is a public ferry worth 15 Egyptian pounds.

GGuest UserThe most important thing in this hotel is not food, though it is perfect, and not even a stunning view from the windows - sincere location and readiness of Ahmed Shauki - the manager and host of the hotel, to help its guests in everything - that 's what makes Villa Misk the best!
