"I love the vibe of this place. Capsule-style bedding, no towels provided, but the downstairs area is pretty happening. A little bar/cafe down there seems to be a popular place to congregate and chill in the evenings, and the staff is super-nice and friendly. It's on a quiet street, within a 5 minute walk of a major metro station. Good value for the money if you're a solo traveler. I'd definitely stay here again."

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, the breakfast was good, and there were several kinds of fruits. The service staff at the front desk were very nice and very nice. The room was just a bit small, but the location was very good. You can walk to the Acropolis and other famous attractions.

GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's. Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels. The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild. They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc. MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world. The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

GGuest UserGreat location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.

ぱぱラッチI stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. You can walk to the Pardenon Temple and the New Acropolis Museum. There are also many Greek restaurants nearby and the location is excellent. The receptionist at the hotel was also friendly. The breakfast restaurant space is by no means large, but you can enjoy your meal slowly in a calm atmosphere. The size of the room can also be spent slowly in a reasonable space. It was good that the shower was hydraulic pressure, but it was a pity that there was no bathtub plug and I couldn't put it in the bathtub. The elevator was retro and the atmosphere was good, but the movement was slow. It's the opposite of a modern hotel, but I think it's a very good hotel to spend a relaxing time in a historic hotel in Europe.

GGuest UserThe room is fair clean but very noise if you live close to the lift. And also I can hear the children screaming at night (video). Meanwhile, the basic infrastructure is quite old and the balcony is blocked for safety reason as the staff told. Surprisingly, the rooftop has a swimming pool. It seems very clean. And the restaurant is good but expensive. The breakfast is very simple but enough for me.

KKDTINOThe Attalos Hotel is good with everything you need, reception is right at the front door with very helpful and friendly staff, the lifts are small, so only one person and your luggage at a time, but that’s ok. It has the most amazing rooftop with Athens’ best kept secret bar and view of the acropolis that you won’t ever forget. Rooms are good, (we stayed in 507 & 506), not too big, however Athens is old so it’s ok for what you need and I am picky. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean and fresh towels, the bathroom is small but water is hot and water pressure perfect. Great location, just off a small street and so close to Monastiraki Square in Athens which is less than 100 meters away. Close to a supermarket, cafe’s everywhere (you have to get yourself a real Greek coffee- now that’s a caffeine hit you will need after travelling 😉) and there is amazing authentic Greek Food all around. I recommend Nikos Tavern just pass the church in the square and left up the alley. It one of the oldest, and I was there 32 years ago. You will see all the tables and chairs!! Attalos is walking distance to all the sights you need to see, like the acropolis and museums and train station are right nearby. I will definitely stay here again ever time I visit Athens on my way to the Peloponnese. What a great memory, Thanks guys!!

GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around.

GGuest UserFirst of all, the hotel staff are so nice incl. receptionists, breakfast lady, room attendants, etc. They all smile at you and greet you, very polite and helpful. We also booked 1 triple room for 3 adults but they gave us 2 double rooms with the same price of course although they had to move us to ground floor the 2nd day due to some electrical defaults in one of the rooms as it was newly renovated, which didnt bother us at all. We happily moved. Also free water bottles in the fridge included, all the necessary amenities were there, no kettle to boil water or cups for hot drinks were provided in the room but if you ask them, hot water provided at the hotel reception 24/7 also free tea, coffee and hot water for all guests provided from 3-9pm! Rooms were decent sized with comfy and clean beds, daily room service, breakfast was good and plenty and included in the room price, so cant complain! More hot food options would have been nice but it was continental which still was adequate. 5/5 stars

GGuest UserI was impressed with this hotel for the price I paid. Very centralised, with the metro station right there. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets only steps away. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Lots of pillows on the bed. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some. Free water as well. The breakfast was copious. So much choices. I love the terrace. There are jacuzzis on the terrace! I also ate at the restaurant, which as very good. The staff are very friendly. The deco is cool as well. I’ll come back next time I’m in Athens.

GGuest UserThe service as expected from greek people was excellent and helpful The hotel location is close to the center and was quite satisfying facilities were good, a bit crowded at breakfast time at the first day we had a problem with shower water, leaking out of the door which made the bathroom floor very wet but the problem was fixed immediatly we had mosquitos in the room and after complaining they provided us with mosquito trap, the thing with mosquitos is critical since my daughter skin is very sensitive and every bite can turn into awful inflammation which what exactly happened to her. on the last day there was no hot water, so i had to take shower in slightly warm water.
