Amazing
KKeweiyidisaThis hotel was fantastic, I really loved it. Aside from the small entrance being a bit hard to find, everything else was perfect. Before check-in, the hotel contacted me via email to discuss check-in and check-out times and provided a map and pictures showing how to get there – very detailed. I initially thought it would be self-check-in, but when I arrived, the host, Maria, was already waiting for me in the lobby! Maria was incredibly welcoming, shaking my hand and greeting me warmly – so friendly! It was the first time I'd ever met such a warm and friendly white person in Europe, I was quite touched 😹. Maria was very welcoming and explained the room code and facilities in detail. You need to turn on a switch in the shower 🚿 for the first 20 minutes. The room was large, stylish, and comfortable; every piece of furniture, every decoration, every detail reflected the hotel's attention to detail. The room had a refrigerator, kettle, microwave, tableware šŸ½, toilet paper 🧻 – everything you needed. The decor was very stylish, and there was a balcony with a view, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was also excellent; it's just a block from Syntagma Square, and the Acropolis is only a 20-minute walk away – much closer than I expected. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, making it convenient for everything.

GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Ermass Modern Living Apartments in Athens and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is in a very good and central location, with bus and metro connections nearby, making it easy to get around the city. It was also easy to find, which is a big plus for first-time visitors. The room was comfortable and practical, equipped with a mini-kitchen and utensils, which was convenient for light cooking. There is also a nice rooftop garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. The apartment is close to the famous Stani Greek restaurant, as well as several mini-markets for groceries and daily needs. An AC is provided, which made the stay comfortable during warmer days. A special mention and thanks to Thanos and Konstantina for their warm hospitality and constant support throughout the stay. They were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide useful information about places to visit, travel tips, and other local details. However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. The back side and nearby streets are not very clean, and the area does not feel very safe late at night. After around 10 PM, it’s better to avoid walking around, as we noticed several homeless individuals and people associated with ***** in the vicinity during nighttime. Overall, Ermass Modern Living Apartments offers great value, a central location, and helpful staff, but guests should be cautious about the surrounding area at night.

GGuest UserGreat location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ā€˜suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ā€˜space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ā€˜living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ā€˜average’.

YYee11We stayed one night at Alekos Apartments 2 and had a pleasant and comfortable experience. The apartment was modern, very clean, and well-equipped — it even had a small kitchenette for simple cooking and Netflix for a relaxing night in. Although there’s a front desk, the office hours are limited, but not to worry — the owner is super responsive and helpful via WhatsApp. He even helped us arrange transport from the airport to the property at a reasonable fee, which made arrival really convenient. The self check-in process was smooth and well explained. The apartment felt safe, cozy, and had everything we needed for a short stay. Location-wise, it’s within walking distance to metro stations, making it easy to get to the city centre. Overall, a great value stay in Athens — clean, modern, and hosted by someone who truly cares about guests’ comfort. Would happily stay again!

Mmaya dalalThe hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes. As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel. The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air. There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed. There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Mmarian8iaFirst of all shout out to the cleaning ladies they did a great job cleaning my room everyday and I know their work is pretty hard. Second the people at the reception are lovely and kind, very helpful when asking questions and very nice to talk to. The room was even bigger than the pictures I loved it and felt so comfortable. TTataTnaFirst of all, the hotel staff are so nice incl. receptionists, breakfast lady, room attendants, etc. They all smile at you and greet you, very polite and helpful. We also booked 1 triple room for 3 adults but they gave us 2 double rooms with the same price of course although they had to move us to ground floor the 2nd day due to some electrical defaults in one of the rooms as it was newly renovated, which didnt bother us at all. We happily moved. Also free water bottles in the fridge included, all the necessary amenities were there, no kettle to boil water or cups for hot drinks were provided in the room but if you ask them, hot water provided at the hotel reception 24/7 also free tea, coffee and hot water for all guests provided from 3-9pm! Rooms were decent sized with comfy and clean beds, daily room service, breakfast was good and plenty and included in the room price, so cant complain! More hot food options would have been nice but it was continental which still was adequate. 5/5 stars

GGuest UserUnfortunately this hotel was a complete nightmare, I arrived with serious eye infection and got no understanding or help from the staff. Noone helped me getting to the hospital. Then I even got a horrible room that was noisy, and NO window that could be opened. While complaining to the manager the next day I got even treated worse making up lies that I was yelling to the staff, which is NOT TRUE. I was just in pain asking for a better room or better service. Oh also they recommended the parking space for my super expensive car claiming its SAFE to leave them my car keys. I asked twice if this is really safe as my complete luggage is still in the car. When I went there to get my luggage out, the car was open!!! with the key inside. In the middle of Athens and noone there even from this parking team. like a complete fail on sooo many levels. The heating system is always on in the rooms making huge noise, also the pool downstairs has crazy machines making the whole night sounds. I am so happy I found another beautiful hotel around the corner quiet and excellent service!!!! Just dont stay there, its not good. Even the pool area is a joke and no jacuzzi in winter on the roof, they are not worth any visit!

PPuay Teck OngThe exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
