"The advantage here is that it is 14 minutes walk from the train station, which is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town of Siena, which is acceptable. The current price is beautiful and very touching.
The environment is great. I saw a deer in the garden in the morning. The manager proudly introduced that four new deer babies were born this year. I instantly felt that this place is a place of outstanding people and is particularly suitable for creativity, works and results.
Every morning when the window is opened, fresh air from the hillside pours into the room, people's minds are clear, inspiration bursts, and it is a new look. It is a good choice to temporarily get away from the hustle and bustle and practice in seclusion.
Breakfast at 8 o'clock is not a buffet. You need to tell the manager what to eat one day in advance so that they can prepare it. Every day when you enter the restaurant, you can see that the breakfast is neatly placed on the table, and the service is in place.
On the wall of the restaurant are handmade hiking poles made by the manager uncle. Each one is made into a small animal image according to the natural shape of the branch, with eyes painted, vivid and very popular. It is said that many people buy it.
The layout, furniture and facilities in the room are all full of Italian style, with some retro atmosphere, and the old objects are old and make people feel at ease. Safe and sanitary, no worries. The temperature in Italy in December looks to be more than 10 degrees, but it still feels damp and cold outside when it rains. The room is well heated, and the floor is warm, so you can walk barefoot.
Many Chinese tourists have been received here. The manager tried hard to learn the main different habits and preferences of people in different provinces in China, but she found that China is vast and has a large population, and she couldn't understand it. Haha, so cute.
Language is not an obstacle. What really makes people communicate smoothly is a heart. I feel it here. I hope I can stay for a while next time."

WWine1981There was a huge blunder by trip.com. Our reservation was not found. Nonetheless the gentleman at the front reception helped us out. It was stressful especially after driving up for so long into siena. Hotel location is abt 10-12 min walk into the main square. Parking within hotel is limited. There is a public parking just outside before entering the ZTL zone.

👍Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. You can go to the city center conveniently.
👍Breakfast is typical American style with a touch of Italian. A few kinds of Italian cakes and pies are offered.

👎Netflix isn't set on the TV.
👎the shower booth in the bathroom was too small. It was a 'double bed' room and I can say that it would be so small for 'single bed' room and even for '5 years old kid'.

GGuest UserWe had a great time! As other people have said in their reviews, the breakfast was excellent. The view was great, and we had a delicious meal while watching the sun rise over the Tuscan hills. The staff were all friendly and smiling, so we had a pleasant stay.
You can walk to Piazza del Campo, but it takes about 20 minutes, so it feels a little far.
In terms of facilities, it would be nice if there was a refrigerator and a kettle.
The large bathtub was also very nice.
Still, I wanted to stay another night, and it's a place I'd like to stay at again.

CchenccccccccccThe hotel is in the old city of Siena. If you drive in, you will enter the ztl no-go area. If you park in the hotel parking lot, you can worry about the ztl fine. If you don't want to park the hotel parking lot, tell the front desk and drive in ztl. It's okay to drive out in half an hour.
Facilities: Although the hotel is old, the overall facilities are more convenient. Also very clean

GGuest UserFirst of all, the service is very good. The front desk is super welcoming. It is the most enthusiastic hotel I have stayed at in Italy in two years. Seeing that I am a foreigner and I always communicate very slowly in English, I said that I can speak Italian with me, and then the waiter hurriedly I am sorry, and then answered my question patiently. The public environment is very artistic and retro. There is a garden outside. It is comfortable to sit on the sofa in the garden at night. The room is comfortable and the facilities are complete. The only shortcoming is that the breakfast is not. It’s made now, it feels like it was bought in the supermarket and eaten directly, and there are fewer varieties, overall it’s not bad, after all, the house price is relatively low, it’s good value for money 😁

SsatsumatableConveniently located hotel that is 15 minute walking distance from old Siena. There is paid private parking. The free breakfast is great, with a decent assortment. Rooms are very simple, but this is a small town and should be expected. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the old town.
