Guest UserLoved it!! Clean, beautiful, and stylish. The green grounds are lovely. Easy access to the beach. Excellent location, with cafes nearby and the night market not too far. You need to drive to the shopping mall, but it's not too far, and you could even walk. The hotel is perfect for families with children, even though there aren't many play areas – just one small one, but it's convenient for very young kids. The pool is super! The sun loungers are also comfortable. There are two restaurants on site, and the food is decent for hotel prices. Breakfast is served in one of them and it's good! Eggs are brought to your table, the coffee is pretty good, and the desserts are fantastic. There's also a kids' food station, but it doesn't offer a huge variety. They sometimes had plain vegetables for toddlers, but not always, sometimes they were in sauce. They even served passion fruit. High chairs are available.
The hotel is also very pet-friendly with lots of animals, and they even provide towels for dogs.
On the downside: queues for breakfast, which is a bummer, especially when you have a child. Sometimes you'd wait 10-15 minutes! Not enough tables or staff. This was a bit frustrating during our stay, but the queues usually only happened during peak hours, not always. For example, around 9 AM there was always a queue.
We also happened to be there during an electronic music festival for one day. It was chaos. The music blared until late at night, but we were warned beforehand.

GamberryThe staff provided excellent service and were very hospitable and helpful. I had the opportunity to stay here because I was taking my cat for treatment at Kaset Hua Hin Animal Hospital. The hotel is conveniently located close to the hospital, and they offer a golf cart shuttle service. The room was clean and odor-free, and the staff's service was superb.
The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was quiet and didn't make any noise.

I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin and truly didn’t want to leave. The hotel’s amenities and overall environment are absolutely amazing. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing, creating such a peaceful atmosphere throughout the property.
Breakfast was another highlight — there is a huge variety of options and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We loved every moment of our trip and can’t wait to come back. This is truly a perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Iain in BeijingA great hotel in the best location to be at when visiting Hou Hin. The hotel was clean and the food was outstanding. I tecommmend getting the breakfast and at sunset go to the Lotus rooftop bar and enjoy the sunshine with great food.
The only downside was a building site right outside our Jr Executive suite window - 4 days of not using the balcony because of the noise… not the best, however everything else made up for it.

Anonymous UserI had high expectations for my stay at the Hua Hin Marriott, given its reputation, but my actual experience was incredibly disappointing. While the hotel's facilities, environment, and location were all good, the most crucial aspect—the 'service'—completely dragged down the entire hotel's standing. This was especially true for the front desk staff's attitude and professionalism, which were utterly unbefitting of the Marriott brand.
From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were aloof and perfunctory, lacking even the most basic service awareness. They were impatient with guest questions and communicated in a stiff manner, making it feel as if I was 'begging them to do their job' rather than receiving the service expected from a high-end hotel. Throughout the entire process, there was a complete absence of professionalism, respect, and warmth.
What was even more frustrating was that some front desk employees clearly lacked training; they were unfamiliar with procedures, inefficient at resolving issues, and quick to pass the buck. Many simple problems took an unreasonably long time to address, leading to an extremely poor experience.
Frankly, at the price point and positioning of the Hua Hin Marriott, guests are paying for more than just a room—they're paying for service. However, the front desk service here was worse than what you'd find at many standard business hotels. No matter how good the hardware is, it can't compensate for such terrible service attitudes. I hope the hotel management takes the issues with the front desk team seriously, or they will continue to erode guests' trust in the Marriott brand.

Guest UserThe hotel has a Thai garden style and low density, creating a great resort atmosphere. It seems to have been renovated recently, so the rooms are very new. I read some reviews that mentioned there was no beach, but actually, you can walk on the beach every morning. The beach only disappears in the afternoon after high tide (see photos below).

This is the 8th or 9th time we've been in the last 3 years! Although the Wora Bura might not match the luxury of the Intercontinental or general high standards of the Marriott, the location right next to the Ko Takiab beach, as well as the very attractive colonial-style buildings and value for money, makes this a special hotel which offers spacious and very comfortable rooms, all with a lovely view of the gardens, statues, and fountains. The breakfast provides a wide range of Thai and international food, and there's a Buy 1 Get 1 free happy hour for a selection of drinks which is actually from 3pm to 8pm!
We've already booked for October, but we'll try to get back before if we can.

Langzi_HThe room was incredibly mediocre, definitely fell for a false ad on Xiaohongshu. It's really not worth the 800+ RMB a night price tag. The decor is, at best, what you'd find in a 150-200 baht hotel in Thailand – a real 'Syrian war-torn' style. All the premium you're paying is for the pool, which I admit is beautiful. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing else going for it. But here's the kicker: the hotel's poolside bar is open to the public, meaning non-guests can come in. So basically, I paid a huge premium for the hotel because of the pool, only for outside people to be able to occupy the tables. Not recommended. On the upside, the staff were very friendly and I couldn't fault their service!

First-row sea view, you can watch the sunrise from bed. You can also enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise. It's a detached house, and you need to use your room card to access the hotel pool. Turn right out of the small alley and it's a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven, and a 20-minute walk to the big night market.

Olesya SharkovaThe hotel is a bit dated, but we still liked it. It was very clean, and housekeeping was excellent. The beach was great, and there was a massage parlor by the pool. Night markets were also nearby.
