Amazing
AAnikeBathen House is simply phenomenal from the mixture of old and modern aesthetic that screams class, elegance and luxury to the squeaky clean, serene environment and the oh so polite staff that were always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was such a remarkable experience and I would definitely go back again. I absolutely loved my stay at Bathen House and I swill always recommend. It was the best Easter Holiday and Experience.
GGuest UserIts meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave.
The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted.
Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded.
The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.
AAliLovely place and lovely people. Great customer service/care, great greeting, and what a lovely room, too. I loved everything about this place. Location is not the best (over the hill) but has great views of the city. Breakfast is good and the whole place gives you a cozy feeling that you'd like to stay at this lovely B&B more. Stayed for one night but would certainly choose this place if I get back to Bath again. Thanks.
SSkyshanghaiSumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.
GGuest UserI am very satisfied with the hotel I booked in Bath this time. It is located on a small hillside and should have been a castle villa in the past. The environment is very good. Although the room is not particularly large, it is enough for two people to live in. The decoration is stylish. The room is cleaned every day. The breakfast is also very good. In addition to the classic English breakfast, you can also order a few free items such as bread with smoked fish and scrambled eggs, which taste very good. The tea set is also customized and of good quality. The service in the restaurant is also very good, especially a supervisor named Tom, who knows some Chinese and is very friendly and provides good service. Thumbs up! There is a bus at the door of the hotel to the city center, which is also very convenient. Free parking for self-driving! In short, if I have the opportunity to come to Bath next time, I will definitely stay here for a few days!
ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question.
The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival.
Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.
RRupaAmazing service, all staff, the manager concierge, Resturant staff, just cannot vote them. I’d give them 100%.
Paid for all your needs ,
Even the area that it’s amazing views . Anyone staying here? Well enjoy their stay I would definitely call it five star.
Spa was amazing too.
Will definitely come back here again .
GGuest UserThe hotel is very old and warm, the breakfast is also good, it is on the mountain and the air is very good. It is suitable for self-driving, but the location is not remote. There is a big traffic jam on the mountain road in front of the hotel early in the morning. The heating is very sufficient. If it is hot, turn off the heating and open the window to balance the temperature.
GGuest UserIt's clean, warm, and nice. It's an hour's walk from Bath Station, but the walking path is nice. The bedding is clean, the water comes out well, and there's no separate shampoo, so I use it as shower gel, but it doesn't come out well from the place attached to the bathroom, and the shampoo isn't good. It was a small room, but I was satisfied.
GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies.
Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
