"Excellent location, right on the middle of the beach. Amazing views from the floor length windows in the seaview rooms. Obviously, being right on the beach there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, bars and convenience stores minutes away by foot. Rooms are comfortable with good beds, showers and Aircon. Breakfast is fine. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Weihai."

"This hotel is perfectly situated right next to the famous Huancuilou Park, offering stunning views of the landmark Huancuilou from the room's window. Across the street is Weigao Plaza, a bustling commercial area in Weihai, with a wide variety of restaurants. The location alone gets a perfect score!
I booked a 'mini room,' which, as expected, wasn't huge, but it was perfectly comfortable for one person and fully equipped. They even included a lovely complimentary snack, tea bags, and fresh flowers.
During both check-in and check-out, the front desk staff I interacted with were all beautiful, gracious ladies. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and always had a lovely smile. Seeing my heavy luggage, a kind and handsome young man with glasses from the front desk immediately offered to help me carry it. He even pushed my suitcase all the way to the hotel entrance after I checked out. All in all, this is a truly excellent and heartwarming hotel! 👍🏻👍🏻"

XXingzhehaijiaoEvery time I visit Weihai, Guihe Siji is my go-to hotel. The service is consistently outstanding. The hotel's signature scent is lovely, leaving a subtle, pleasant aroma in the rooms. They offer complimentary fresh fruit and a choice of afternoon tea, white fungus soup, milk tea, or ginger tea. Yuehai Park, with its fantastic children's playground, is right downstairs, and my kids always have a blast there every year!
Manager Yuan from the reservations department was incredibly helpful. She proactively reached out to discuss our requirements and assisted with all our check-in arrangements. The view from our deluxe sea view room was absolutely breathtaking! The iconic lighthouse right next to the hotel makes for amazing photos, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options.
I used to consider looking for a property in Weihai since I visit every year, but now I realize staying at this hotel is far more convenient!

GGuest UserThis is Weihai's State Guesthouse, and as expected, the location is excellent. The room facilities were surprisingly good; we even got an upgrade to a room with a partial sea view, which was fantastic. The hotel staff were incredibly enthusiastic – from the lobby manager and front desk to the floor attendants, the friendly doorman, and the restaurant staff – everyone demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine passion for service. It's clear the entire hotel is incredibly well-managed right now! Our stay was extremely comfortable and added significant positive emotional value to our trip. This is definitely a hotel we'll choose again next time we visit Weihai.

2219646****I was very happy with the room. The staff at the front desk, both the young ladies and gentlemen, were excellent. They were very helpful and proactive in solving any issues. The aunties at the restaurant were also lovely, and the food was delicious. I was very, very satisfied. When I checked out, they even thoughtfully looked after my luggage.

Pros:
1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby.
2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery.
3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it.
4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely.
5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly.
6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier.
Cons:
1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews.
2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken.
3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival).
4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub.
5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby.

JJingchengtutuI took my 80-year-old mother to Weihai to experience life in a coastal city, and Weihai left a wonderful impression on us. We stayed at the Blue Ocean Hotel, which has an amazing location. From our room, we had a panoramic view of the濱海公園 (Binhai Park) and the famous 'Big Photo Frame' sculpture. We just had to cross the road from the hotel to immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery.
Beyond the beautiful views, I especially want to thank Ms. Gong Xinru from the hotel. She was incredibly patient and meticulous in her work. When we checked out, we completely forgot three of my mother's favorite clothes in the room. From the moment we arrived at the station to head to our next destination, until several hours after we reached Jinan, Ms. Gong repeatedly called me because I wasn't answering my phone. She finally informed me about the clothes and promptly arranged for them to be couriered. By the time we arrived home, the package had already been successfully delivered. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Gong for her exceptional service.

GGuest UserI stumbled upon this hotel with a floor-to-ceiling sea-view window room online and immediately fell in love with it. So, I took advantage of the three-day Qingming Festival holiday to visit Weihai. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and the actual experience was fantastic!
From the hotel's **exterior**, it felt like an older four-star, but once I entered the lobby, the overall impression was very neat, clean, and bright. You could tell that the hotel put effort into maintaining its facilities. The staff were also very enthusiastic, even calling a day in advance to confirm my itinerary and preferences. The **service** was excellent.
Since I arrived quite late on the first night, after 10:00 PM in Weihai, I booked a **standard king room** for the first night. It offered a street view, not the sea. The room was quiet and very clean, perfect for a good night's rest.
On the second day, around 9:00 AM, we moved to the sea-view room I had been looking forward to. I booked the **Deluxe Sea View Terrace King Room**. The room was still very clean and quiet. The interior decoration was on par with a five-star hotel (though the walls were a bit patchy and could use a repaint). Upon entering, there was a bathtub, and then the super large floor-to-ceiling window and terrace came into view. In front of the window, there was a soft sofa, which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing for drinking tea or coffee – it just made me so happy. The view from the terrace was also stunning; the sea was very clear on sunny days. In the evening, you could watch the sunset from the room. What could be more romantic than that?
The **breakfast** restaurant was a sea-view restaurant with a huge floor-to-ceiling window. Outside, there was a trestle bridge, the sea, and seagulls – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it covered most Chinese breakfast essentials, and the taste was good. For a four-star hotel, it was really impressive.
The **location** is in Huancui District, not far from attractions like Torch 8th Street. There are also many good restaurants nearby. Downstairs are Jinshatan Beach and the Jinhaiwan Trestle Bridge, where many seagulls hover.
The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to the beach, and guests are given an exclusive wristband. For families with children who want to play in the water during summer, it's very convenient – you can go straight back to your room via the elevator to wash up after playing.
Overall, the accommodation experience was excellent! Full marks, highly recommended!

GGuest UserI asked for a non-smoking room, and I think that the hotel did give me one. But there is something everyone should know about who goes to China. Many still smoke indoors, even near kids. No room is truly free from smoke, I imagine. My room had a weak smell of smoke, and that scent was in all the places, from the lobby and lifts to the corridor. Still, the hotel staff were friendly and kind throughout my stay. Talking to them may be difficult if you do not speak Mandarin, as most staff know a little English, but a translation app helps a lot. They were all kind and happy to help. This was my first trip to Weihai, and the trip was for a friend’s wedding in one of the hotel’s halls. So, the spot was quite good for the event. If you go to Weihai just to see sites or other fun spots, you might want to look at other places to stay. That said, the hotel has a sweet sea view and parks by the sea, which is nice for a slow walk and some clean air.

Both were always smiling, gentle, and polite. When my travel plans changed mid-trip, they patiently helped me adjust my room type and check-in time. They thoroughly explained hotel amenities, breakfast hours, and local sightseeing routes, even proactively offering warm water to help ease my travel fatigue. For all subsequent inquiries, their responses were prompt and professional, and they consistently provided thoughtful and meticulous assistance. Their service was attentive and warm, showcasing a high level of professionalism and the hotel's excellent service standards. This comfortable experience wouldn't have been possible without their dedicated hospitality. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I'm in the area and highly recommend it to other travelers.

GGuest UserThe room was spotless, the service was excellent, and breakfast offered a generous spread. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is perfectly situated directly across from the beach and a pier, with plenty of great bars and cafes in the vicinity. In the evenings, we enjoyed dining on the beach while listening to music, and even witnessed the most stunning sunset. There's also the popular San Shan Tian, an internet-famous cultural and creative shop. My entire experience was truly delightful.
