The hotel's location right next to Kowloon City Mall is super convenient for shopping and dining. You can even access the mall's food court and shops directly from the hotel's fifth-floor fire exit. Plus, there's a taxi stand right at the mall's ground floor entrance, making transportation in and out a breeze. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff are young, energetic, and very friendly. They proactively offered us water, and a hotel attendant helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room – excellent service all around. Security is top-notch. You need to swipe your room card to use the elevator, which provides a high sense of safety. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant's dining environment is elegant with a great atmosphere. There are even chefs on-site preparing fresh noodles and omelets – very attentive service. The hotel parking is located on the ground floor plaza and is free of charge. If you're driving, it's easier to enter the hotel from Linhai Road, especially when unloading luggage. The room was very clean and bright. The bathroom features a spacious wet/dry separation and the facilities are very new. Mineral water is amply supplied. The cleaning staff are diligent, friendly, and very courteous. Every staff member we encountered in the hotel had a smile on their face and greeted us warmly. What sets this hotel's staff apart is their professionalism and thoughtfulness. The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

The room was very clean and had an amazing view. It's super close to the International Bathing Beach, which was really convenient for visiting the beach with my elderly parents and kids. The beach and the water here are the cleanest I've ever seen. My kids had a blast and said they want to stay here again next time!

It's really funny. Someone comes to clean the room every day, but they never make the bed. I stayed there for 4 nights and someone only made it after I asked them to. If I didn't ask them, they wouldn't make it. Maybe they think it's unnecessary to make the bed during the day and then mess it up at night. But I will make the bed a little bit even if I stay in a cheap motel. It seems that you will make the bed if I stay for one night, but you don’t have this awareness if you stay for consecutive nights. This is the first time I've seen this, it's quite funny anyway. There were electric mosquito coils in the room, but the liquid was used up. I reported it to the front desk and was told that there was none in the warehouse, so there were none. Not my first time to stay there. I like the location. Close to the train station and surrounded by shops, restaurants and coffee shops. They have recently upgraded the furniture too. Adding a washing machine, a bigger refrigerator and a bigger TV screen.
