Ibis Hotel (Beijing Tiantan East Gate Station)

Very perfectly clean hotel. Thanks to the cleaner. You get free water every day and free toiletries. But negative thing is it to loud from outside. People are smoking under the window and the room smells of cigarettes. The bad thing was when I asked to be given a quiet room and they told me I had to pay extra. I said on my reservation it doesn't say whether it's a loud or quiet room, what do I have to pay for?! They told me they would give me a quiet room at no extra charge, but that wasn't true. It was not possible to rest in my room until late afternoon. The surroundings are not that good and there is nothing to do. I wouldn't choose that hotel again.

Good location only a short walk from the main temple entrance. Room is small but sufficient for one person. Bathroom was slightly janky but expected from a value room

The location is closed to Temple of Heaven. Breakfast was average. Air Conditioner was not working properly. While our checkout time was 12.00pm, the hotel deactivated our key card before 11.30am. We were very disappointed. Bathroom size is comparatively small.

The room is so nice and clean. It has all you need for your stay. The location is great and very close to the famous tourist attractions. The staff is so nice and helpful, especially miss Emily. She helped us called the other hotel to cancel our booking due to the strong winds. Overall, very satisfied with all the service here. Will definitely come back for my next visit in Beijing.

Smooth check in. Receptionist were attentive to our needs. Room was small but comfy with basic amenities. Location is superb!

As a couple who visited Beijing to see the Great Wall of China, we think the location of the accommodation is excellent. With the famous tourist spot, the Temple of Heaven Park and the Temple of Heaven East Gate Subway Station right next door, it's easy to access the heart of the tourist attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Wangfujing, and Qianmen Street etc. If you are familiar with the subway, you can easily travel to distant areas of the city through the intricate network of Beijing's subway system. The building is an old-style building, but it's suitable for a couple to use, and the clean bedding and strong-pressure hot shower are pleasing. The room guide and the in-room amenities show a rare attention to detail for an economical accommodation, and the staff at the frontdesk are sincerely friendly. (Especially the glasses-wearing, good English-skilled cute lady) Thanks to them, our impression of Beijing got better and our trip was enjoyable. If we visit Beijing again, we will use it again.
