Beijing Qianyuan Hotel Reviews

The location of hotel is very good. Close the MTR station and Airport Express station with less than 10 minutes walk. In addition, there are two large shopping centers near the 東直門station. One famous restaurant 胡大 is also very close to the hotel. The hotel room is large with two double-size bed. It's excellent.

Conveniently located around 15mins walk to Dongzhimen and Beixingqiao subway stations. Got a family room with 2 double beds. Room was spacious. Bathroom was huge, but the shower floor was quite mouldy. Visited during the start of Winter. Room temperature was 26 degrees and was told that hotels are not permitted to provide cold AC in Winter due to Beijing government policy. Room was like an oven every evening when we return to hotel, so forced to open window to let cool air in (as well as mosquitoes because the window has no fly screen). Consequently, my two kids got severe mozzie bites all over their faces and bodies, especially because they have strong allergic reactions. Also, unable to obtain information about tours from front desk - was advised the reason was due to them being a business hotel.

Really nice hotel with super clean, spacious and cosy rooms. We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back when in Beijing.

Pros:location and price. Room is fairly large in this area. Staff seem deal with guest delivery very well, even though we don’t use this service. Cons: staff are not well trained. They don’t do anything other than saying hello. We have baby pram in and out all the time. Those concierge staff never bother to open the door for us. They just standing there and looking…My check in experience was also awful as they couldn’t find my booking in the beginning and have to let me wait for almost 1 hour without any compensation. I have to contact trip.com with very poor internet reception….. Breakfast has good range but nothing is delicious….. Overall this hotel is fine given this price, but I probably won’t choose this hotel anymore. There are many good ones in town.

The hotel location is superb. Many delicious food around it!!! Hotel staffs are super friendly and helpful… Will definitely come back again!!!

Great location, very clean, excellent service, but WiFi is too slow.

Nice designed room but flawed execution. The wash basin cannot be accessed for any maintenance or repairs. Water pressure in the shower was passable after maintenance came. The hairdryer in the room overheats very very quickly. Housekeeping came with another but it was the same. I stayed for 3 nights and after the 1st night the WiFi slowed to a crawl. I mentioned it but to no avail. The bottled water supplied could only be opened with brut force by the maintenance guy. I had to get the daily replacements preopened by the maintenance guy before leaving them in the room.

My second review for this hotel from the same holiday - it was so good that when returning to Beijing we cancelled our booking with another hotel and rebooked here - I guess that says it all. We didn't eat here or really use the facilities (gym etc.), so I'm afraid I can't comment on those but if they're as good as the rest of the hotel - I'm sure they're excellent.

Everyone is so friendly and responsible, really close to everything you need. However the mattress seems a bit old as you will notice a person shaped concavity therefore doesn't support the back very well.

Location is really great, perfect view on the hutong around. Breakfast is simple. Staff can speak a bit English.
