Xingyi Hotel (Beijing Temple of Heaven Dongmen Subway Station)

Room almost clean. Internet connection terrible, 2/2 Mbit/s, can’t connect to VPN so if you’re using some google services for business forget about them. I’d say the whole neighborhood is using two of the available washing machines. Breakfast poor buffet, only a few choices. For overnight stay is ok, if you’re planning on staying for a few days to visit Beijing, but also need to do some work, wash the clothes, etc, choose another place. It’s got some damp odor.

The Hotel rooms are really tiny but generally clean. The location is good. 10 mins walk to next metro station + 5 mins walk to a little park around a river.

The hotel is comfortable and the staff is very helpful. If you plan of visiting The temple of heaven and the Pearl market this is a good location.

An excellent place to stay so close to the subway and the gorgeous Temple of Heaven. The staff were outstandingly helpful. Thank you! For future travellers I suggest printing off directions in Chinese. If you are arriving via subway leave at exit C at the Temple of Heaven station and proceed up the main street. A picture of the relevant street sign to watch out for is attached. When you reach that, turn left. (The street is between two pedestrian overpasses)

I'm sharing my impressions of my hotel stay. Booking didn't involve anything special, only basic amenities were required, including proper room cleaning. Advantages include: quick check-in (at 22 PM), polite reception staff, and impeccably clean bedding. Disadvantages of hotel accommodation: - Improper sanitary condition of the floor in the room and shower: the presence of a significant amount of hair, creating an extremely unsightly picture. Despite the cleanliness of the toilet, there was an unpleasant smell, indicating insufficient cleaning. - The elevator's inconvenient location on the dais, making it difficult for guests with oversized luggage to use. - The shower door creaks strongly due to worn sealing rubber band, eliminating the possibility of silent use of the bathroom in the morning. A full assessment of the hotel is not possible, as we had to leave the hotel the morning after a night's rest in the room.

The hotel is located near Tiantan, city center & very convenient. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. When I had problems, they quickly changed the room for me.
