Xinxiang Yayuan Siheyuan (Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing Branch)

We decided to stay at one of the hotels along a Beijing hutong alley, just to experience what it’s like to live in one. I came across this property online, fell in love with the photos and it did not disappoint. It looked exactly like the pictures when we arrived. The hotel is well maintained, and I especially loved the peaceful garden and koi pond. Even though the property is small, the service didn’t feel lacking at all. The staffs were super friendly and helpful even the owner made sure we felt home. It was our last day in Beijing, and I really wanted to grab some local yogurt before heading off to Shanghai. We asked one of the staffs where we could find some and to our surprise, the owner himself offered to go out and buy it for us. We were honestly blown away by that level of service. It felt like we were staying in a five-star luxury hotel. Thank you for your great service and departure gift. Definitely we'll be back to stay longer next time.

What an excellent courtyard stay experience with great hospitality once again experience from the start! Thou its not a big place but the compound is just soo soo lovely! The pictures of rooms and the whole place are really exactly shown! There's a lovely teahse in the rooftop glasshouse but its jus too hot daily when we were staying to enjoy tea in glasshouse. Oh yes , they gave us daily afternoon tea which was prepared specially daily, served in such exquisite teacups! On our 1st day of check-in, we were way passed afternoon tea time, but they still specially prepared for us. Such lovely gesture! Supper (noodles, dumplings) was also available on request and the children had fun time diy-ing their own candyfloss! The staffs were also sooo nice & lovely and welcoming! We booked the family room (2double beds n sofa bed) which first our family of 5!. Location wise, its in a small hutong ally so most of the time the "didi" will stop at main road n we had to walk in shortly. Only little qualm i had was walking in n out along the hutong, we had to pass a public toilet along the way...well i guess that's how hutong alleys will have its pros n cons. No big deal, jus speed up n walk a tad faster. On our last day, we were caught in a huge rainstorm n was told the rain was ankle deep so we couldnt walk out. We were lucky our booking of didi" was willing to drive into hutong instead; bear in mind its usually a 6seater Denza that we took due to our no of pax. Its also near 2 metros stations so we usually walk 200m to the nearest dengshikou station & if you're up for it, you can walk to wangfujing too (about 15 mins)

We booked 2 rooms: Zi Hua Yin Family room and Quadruple room with garden view for family of 6 for 3 nights stay. The stay was awesome and service is top notch. The location also quite strategic, family mart just ard the corner and just 10-15mins walk to Sijiminfu restaurant, ZiGuangYuan restaurant and Wangfujing street. The staff and the boss are very helpful and friendly, they do their best to accommodate the customer needs. Besides that, the hotel also provide afternoon tea and snacks during the stay and complimentary drinks as well. Will definitely stay here again if back to Beijing. 💕👍😍

My wife, my 23 year old son, and a friend of mine and myself All stayed at this hotel in Beijing from May 21 to 25, 2025, and it was easily the most thoughtful and memorable hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed in some Westin chains before, but this was on a completely different level—not because it was flashy, but because it was personal. The two women who manage the place were extraordinary—attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what we needed, whether it was extra bottled water, help with directions, or assistance arranging tours. Every afternoon at 4 p.m. and again at 11 p.m., they brought generous snack trays that felt more like full meals, all featuring local Beijing specialties. Amazing cooks! Breakfast was also full of variety and care. The setting was beautiful—traditional Chinese courtyards with koi ponds and old-style architecture that gave a sense of peace and place. A small cricket in the dining area added a surprisingly comforting touch, like a quiet song in the background. The rooms were spotless and full of modern conveniences, and any request—an extra outlet, directions to the subway—was met with sincere warmth. This wasn’t just a stay—it felt like being genuinely cared for. I’d return to Beijing just to stay here again!

Their service was top notch on a homestay concept 💯 +1👍 they provide excellent service !!!! The staff and even their boss was super friendly and helpful they almost help every customer with everything needed or request. This was the best service I ever came across!
