Best Western Plus Hotel Bern
"Wonderful city. Delicious food. Staff was great, bery helpful."
Ibis Bern Expo
"Location is 10-12 minutes from city centre by tram and about the same for major train station should you wish to do day trips to Belp, Thun etc. Room is clean and staff is friendly although they keep chasing you for your room number if you get breakfast too (I did for all my mornings). Room is ok, bed is comfortable but heads up if you face the tram you might hear the outdoor noise until midnight or so. Reception staff speak good English and is helpful if you need any suggestions for your trip."
Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel
"The place is awesome. I love their breakfast buffet!"
Hotel Savoy
"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is very near the Bern main station."
Swissôtel Kursaal Bern
"The hotel will send you a link to complete an online pre-check-in. Completing it in advance can save you some time at the reception upon arrival. If you wish to request an early check-in, an additional charge of CHF 80 applies. Thankfully, we arrived at around 12:30 pm, and our room was already ready, so we were able to check in without paying the extra fee. Please note that the hotel requires a credit card as a security deposit during your stay. No amount was charged or pre-authorized on our card; it was simply required as a guarantee. The city tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid at the hotel during the check-out process. The reception staff are well trained and provided clear information about the hotel during check-in. Although we did encounter a small hiccup, as the Wi-Fi connection instructions, which were supposed to be placed on the table in our room, were missing. We had to ask the staff for the instructions again, but the issue was resolved very quickly. The room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job with the daily cleaning and replenished the complimentary minibar every day, which was a wonderful touch. My favourite amenity was the Nespresso coffee machine—I really appreciated this thoughtful service throughout our stay. Our stay included a buffet breakfast. While the food was good, the selection remained exactly the same every day. We stayed for three nights, so the breakfast menu became quite repetitive. There breakfast area is located at the ground floor, inside the Chinese restaurant. There are plenty of seats and we don’t find it crowded. The hotel is located at Kursaal Station, about three tram stops from Bern Main Station (Bern Bahnhof). The good thing is that the tram stop is located right in front of the hotel entrance. Along the way, you’ll cross a bridge with a mesmerizing view of the river and the church, making the journey very enjoyable. We noticed that on weekends, Tram 9 runs directly from Kursaal Station to Bern Bahnhof. However, on weekdays, you’ll need to change to another tram line as there isn’t a direct connection. It’s best to check Google Maps for the latest route before boarding public transport."

Stay Kooook Bern Wankdorf - Online Check IN
"A great little find, right next to the train station and only 1 stop from the city. Fab amenities, modern and well maintained, however the check-in process was a nightmare. Extremely difficult to navigate. We booked through trip.com and received no prior comms from kook as what to do we arrived as it doesn't have a check-in/front desk. There were 4 other couples struggling to enter/check-in when we arrived, so it wasn't just us that found it extremely difficult. I also didn't like the idea of leaving a digital copy of my passport, where ID theft and cyber hacking is more common these days. Parking is extra and chargeable at CHF2.50 per hour but there is blue zone parking a short walk away. The lady/teception next door at Moxy was extremely helpful. Next time, I'd probably book Moxy instead!"
Hotel & Restaurant Sternen Muri Bei Bern
"It was a pity that there was no air conditioning and only a long fan, but the Swiss weather was cool, so it was nice to be able to sleep comfortably with the window slightly open! I asked them to clean the room every time I left, and they did so nicely! The front desk staff were friendly and the room was clean and cozy, so I would stay there again! The tram from Bern Station is a bit far, but there is a coop right next door, and I bought food from the coop every evening. ㅎㅎ"
ibis budget Bern Expo
"The room's main feature is the bunk bed. While the rest of the space is quite small, it's still larger than an Ibis in Paris. Parking is 22 CHF per night, and the city tax is approximately 13 CHF."
Bellevue Palace
"Absolutely beautiful scenery! I will definitely book this hotel again next time"
Hotel National Bern
"Hotel is in an ideal location with a very short walk from a nearby train station. The Hotel has a lovely old feel to it but is very clean. The breakfast is continental style but with enough on offer. The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and positive about the City. The Hotel offers a pop up bar across the road. Very nice stay and the only complaint was soft pillows."
Hotel la Pergola
"It's a decent hotel, clean, if a little shabby. Reception is closed after 10 p.m., but if you give them notice, they'll give you a door code and a safe code for your room keys."
Hotel Marthahaus
"Very clean. The breakfast is delicious. It's like coming home. The grandma at the front desk is very kind."
Max Aviation Villa & Apartments
"Always clean and tidy with a personal touch included . Very easily accessible from the highway. Parking right in front of door and easy to get into town with the tram to enjoy a nice evening in Bern. Perfect for a family stay in Bern. I truly recommend !"
Hotel Arabelle
"Very bad. No air conditioning, the front desk disappeared at 4 o'clock (the page says 24h front desk) This is false advertising... Don't come"
Hotel Waldhorn
"The facilities are complete and the place is clean and tidy."
Boutique Hotel Belle Epoque
"Located in the old town, the walk from the train station to the hotel is enjoyable. There's also a bus stop nearby, making it very convenient. The single room was charming, resembling an attic room! An electric kettle and slippers were provided, making for a comfortable stay in the room!"
Hotel Jardin Bern
"It was a very pleasant stay experience. The room was clean and the surroundings were quiet. Although it is an old house, the facilities are simple and the details are well maintained. The bedding is very soft and comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. There are trams nearby that can directly go to the old town attractions. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us introduce the most suitable tour route with a map, which saved us time. The breakfast is traditional European style, the freshly baked croissants are crispy and delicious with coffee, there are interesting colored eggs, and the lady in the restaurant is also very attentive. It is recommended to contact us in advance if you check in late. The working hours in Europe are not 24 hours. I remembered the wrong time for breakfast on the last day. When we arrived, breakfast was being collected, but we were still allowed to grab bread to eat on the way. I agreed to write a review to my boss, hoping he could understand Chinese."
Holiday Inn Bern Westside by IHG
"Convenient location with direct access to the attached shopping mall from the lobby area. There is public transport options right next to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast was pretty good."
Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa
"Just one reminder for those who want to book this room as stated that they will provide "2 king beds" in the room, that's totally not true, only 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed only and the front office told us that this hotel did not have any rooms with 2 beds actually, so just be careful and unfortunately, the room provides a open kitchen, yet the cooker is not working for tourists staying in the hotel, you will have a free ticket for the local bus, but please do ask the front office unless you may not get it (luckily we search online and find out this, so we go back to the front office and ask for it) Other than that, the location of this hotel is very convenient, just few mins from the station."
Hotel Bären am Bundesplatz
"I had a great stay at this hotel. The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. The room had a modern yet cozy decor and was very clean. The only downside was the shower room, which felt a bit small. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its welcoming atmosphere and cleanliness!"
NH Bern the Bristol
"Good location, just few minutes from the Bern train station. Close to restaurants and shops. Worth to stay here."
