Mooi gelegen hotel in Retrosfeer. Schone kamers en uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Betalen met bankpas of creditkaart mogelijk echter rekend men 3% over het te betalen bedrag als kosten. Dat vind ik nog aardig wat. Net buiten het dorp gelegen.

Fijn net hotel voor deze prijs.Ruime kamer.Heerlijk balkon.Goed ontbijtbuffet met voldoende keuze.Vriendelijke mensen.Alles zag er netjes en schoon uit. De omgeving is fantastisch.Kortom ..wij zullen hier nog wel eens terug komen.

Das Hotel am Ortsausgang Holsthums besticht durch seine ideale Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in der Südeifel und nach Luxemburg. Vom Zimmer mit großzügigem Balkon aus bietet sich ein wundervoller Ausblick auf das Tal und den steilen Anstieg zum Ferschweiler Plateau, und das meistens in völliger Stille. Das Zimmer sowie das Bad ausreichend groß, die Minibar bestückt (auch wenn der Kühlschrank vor allem nachts die Stille bisweilen störte). Das Frühstück nicht opulent, aber völlig ausreichend; einziger Kritikpunkt: in Sachen Vermeidung von Verpackungsmüll gibt es noch Luft nach oben. Ingesamt werden alle realistischen Erwartungen an ein Hotel garni vollumfänglich erfüllt, und unter den Aspekten eines hervorragenden Preis-Leistungsverhältnises sowie Wohlfühlfaktor gehört das EUROPA definitiv zu den empfehlenswertesten dieser Kategorie. Deshalb die sehr gute Bewertung meinerseits.

Hotel Europa 25 feb | 28 feb 2022 Wij zijn 3 dagen in hotel Europa in Holsthum (D) geweest. Bij aankomst was de eigenaar zeer onvriendelijk. Hij eiste een vooruitbetaling van € 240 contant. Ik zei dat het gebruikelijk is om met creditcard te betalen bij het uitchecken. Hij wees op een zelfgemaakt briefje dat je het hele bedrag vooraf contant moet betalen. Ik zei dat anno 2022 niemand met zoveel contant geld rondloopt en dat ik met mijn Visa creditcard wilde betalen. Plotseling ging hij een toeslag berekenen van € 7 hetgeen ook zeer ongebruikelijk is bij een hotel. Ik vroeg de WiFi code toen ik mijn QR code moest laten zien. Het hotel is landelijk gelegen waar een slecht bereik is. Hij weigerde om de WiFi code te geven, ik moest eerst betalen. Het hotel is erg gedateerd en de kamer was echt aan een grondige renovatie toe want zelfs het bed was compleet doorgezakt. Ontbijt kan pas vanaf 8 uur en is nogal summier. Maar vooral de onbeschofte en klantonvriendelijke houding van de eigenaar is bijzonder onprofessioneel. Dit hotel is beslist geen aanrader. Het was er wel rustig en schoon maar dat is dan ook het enige positieve.
