The service was very good. We arrived in the morning and the hotel checked us in in advance because there were rooms available, which made it convenient for us to put our luggage and travel with peace of mind. The surrounding dining and shopping are also very convenient.

Large youth hostel, 24-hour front desk staff, luggage storage, clean towels. Entrance card required, relatively safe. 6-person room, bunk beds, lockers required. Public bathroom, relatively clean, but the hair dryer is broken. Location is close to Chinatown, 10 minutes away from the station. Breakfast is OK, filling. Public area is large, with a pool table. Overall not bad considering the low requirements of youth hostels.

The first day we checked in happened to be the first day the employees went on strike and rallied and marched outside the hotel. It was so noisy that they started beating gongs and drums at 7 a.m. the next morning. The noise lasted all day.
The quarrel ended only in the afternoon of the next day. Rare experience.

The rooms are so so but very very good location easy access to eveything
Steeped in history yet constantly buzzing with new openings there is a reason why Bostons Downtown neighborhood is considered to be the heart of the city. Stroll down the winding tangle of streets and you will find monuments to historic revolution next door to the modern vanguards of food art and more. And in the midst of it all poised between The Freedom Trail the original site of the Boston Tea Party and our namesake Faneuil Hall you will find your temporary city home.

Right in the heart of the city, classic Bostonian restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff at reception and decent rooms. Nothing impressive but good place if you want to be in the city and still close to the airport (very easy to reach with the blue line). My pics are of nearby areas.

Great location for exploring Boston with subway and bus service a very short walk from hotel. Subway is cheap and very efficient way to get around. Hotel rooms are spacious and reception team are very welcoming and helpful. If you want to visit the theatres or Chinatown both are only a few minutes walk. Like any hotel there are downsides....
The includes breakfast option is not correct, you get an allowance towards breakfast which does not cover the cost, also breakfast service can be very good or very bad over the 8 days we stayed we experienced both. Evening meals are OK but you can get much better a few minutes walk away. Whilst the hotel is generally well sound insulated for an old building which has been sympathetically converted to an hotel it does not help on a Saturday night, The local nightclub is extremely popular with long queue's down the street, the ones who cannot get in seem to have a weekly rave on the adjoining multi storey car park until around 3am. The noise is incredible and despite this being a weekly occurrence the hotels complaints seem to be ignored by the local authorities. My advice is to either be prepared and accept the inconvenience or avoid staying on a Saturday Night, the same applies to all the other hotels in the immediate vicinity, especially the one with the Candibar nightclub in its basement!
Overall a good hotel which could be even be great if the onsite restaurant was improved, the ”includes breakfast” listing was correctly worded, and the local authorities took action about the unsociable noise.
Final word of praise for the super reception staff who really go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay.

The front desk attitude is good, the hotel is relatively new, the fruit market is downstairs, there are many restaurants nearby, and it is good to walk down the street at night. Is the hotel to charge 25 yuan a day for the use of hotel facilities, you can get fruit and water at the front desk, which are counted in the 25 dollars a day, so do n’t be embarrassed if you live
The Revolution Hotel stands tall in the soul of Bostons South End and is the ultimate home base for urban explorers. Catering to creative adventurous out of the box travelers The Revolution Hotel features several room types; Studio Suites for business travelers-Triple and Quad rooms with shared private bathrooms for groups of friends and Premium King accommodations with in room bathrooms for couples among others. Nice and clean. Fair price and spacious room for solo travelers. Bathrooms are very clean. Drawbacks are that the doors cannot perfectly prevent noises outside, and the location is actually ~10 minutes walk to every subway stations nearby.

GGuest UserPricy, but overall, the condition is great, decent room with clean bathroom. The bedding was good.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location, connected to the shopping mall, making it convenient for shopping. Downstairs is the Public Library. There is no buffet breakfast in the hotel. If you want to eat, you need to order a la carte. The Destination Fee of $30 per day can be used for breakfast. It is not enough for two people.
WWallllllyWatch out where you staying !
We’ve been using intercontinental hotel very well for couple years
We live 5 hrs aways from the boston city
Every time when we spend some time in the city we always book intercontinental hotel cause this hotel service, cleanness everything was so perfect. It worth, we loved it But lately we are very disappointed of services.last night we stayed was worst experience ever had at intercontinental hotel
We stayed a night
First. There is No robes. I tried to call lobby so many times! no answer . ( I had exactly same problem couple days ago when we stayed at your hotel. I had to go downstairs to ask for robe)
Second. No answer lobby phone as I mentioned at first we’ve tried to call lobby so many time for services. ( Cart, water, etc) but NO answer
Every time when I need I had to go Downstairs..
(Until last year? You guys were so good! since this year summer! I believe that you guys were NO answer AT ALL)
Third. This is major !! We had a flight next morning so we booked your hotel as usual but we got connection room that I didn’t know even when we are check in there is nothing mentioned
We were about to fall asleep around 12am and we hearing some grrrrrrr grrrrrrrr I thought A/C had something problems and we realized we HEARING someone’s snoring our next door!!!!
And we couldn’t sleep at all stayed all night to go the airport next morning ….
I got so mad… we paid for a night $550 at 5stars hotel and no sleep …no comfort there is no difference $80 inn out there..
So i claimed it next day when I checked out
There is one lady who helped me checked out she told me she cant do anything with it but she will give me Email address of manager so i can claim through them
But Email also Wrong !
What a WORST experience ever
Years of good experiences have all crumbled this year.
Anyways watch out where are you staying the room
GGuest UserIn Boston's summer, it's not easy for a family of three to find a hotel with two large beds (1.5 meters) and a reasonable price! After a long time of research, I finally decided on the hotel for my trip to the East Coast of the United States. I was very satisfied after checking in! Although it is close to the airport, you can use it as a base for Boston tourism! It's an eight-minute walk from the Blue Line subway station and ten minutes to the city center; the hotel offers free airport pick-up, which takes ten minutes one way; the surrounding area is absolutely safe and quiet, and I walked around alone at eleven or twelve o'clock in the evening; the hotel has a swimming pool, gym, laundry room, and a sports center next to it, with green grass, football field, baseball field, and basketball court; capsule coffee is provided in the room, and freshly brewed coffee is provided in the lobby every morning. Like the domestic garden hotel, take-out cups are provided; breakfast is ten dollars, which is very conscientious, but unfortunately I didn't eat it because there are many places to eat around the subway station. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel and the room, so I recommend the Light of Boston! Black sesame and pistachio latte! It's a bit sweet😀
GGuest UserThe hotel charges a $300 security deposit and an automatic 18% gratuity on any food/drink purchased. A bowl of oa**eal and coffee was $23. There is no breakfast buffet available. The rooms are tiny and designed very much like a cruise ship cabin, complete with bunk beds! There are no closets, drawers or counter space in the room and only 6 hangers (to hang clothes where?) I had to use the ironing board for toiletries. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. (I wonder how couples feel about each other after staying there?) The only window is a floor-to-ceiling window in the bathroom so you can flash nearby shoppers as you step out of the shower. The heated towel rack in not within arm's reach of the shower and featured hard and frayed towels. The room featured a large TV that was surrounded by LED lights. No obvious switch turned off said LEDs, but apparently the round rainbow-colored emblem in one of the built-in cubby holes turned it off.
On the plus side, the hotel is a half-mile from the Boston Convention Center. Also, travelers can take the Silver Line bus from Logan Airport to South Station (or one stop short of the station to this hotel) for FREE! The one-way trip back to Logan Airport is $2.40. There is a rooftop bar that features a nice city view.
MMing-LunThe service was pretty good. It gave me a $40 ”Food & Breakfast” credit per day. I just didn't expect that I also had to pay an extra $30 ”Unban Destination Fee” per day.
GGuest UserNice stay at the Sheraton. We had a recently refurbished room. It was excellent with a comfortable bed and very nice shower. There was an amazing view of the Charles River which was a bonus. The location of the hotel is great with an adjoining mall and lots of eating places. The HOHO bus stop is very close by.
GGuest UserLiving in a hotel built more than a hundred years ago, it is very convenient to be surrounded by supermarkets, libraries, churches, stations, subways, and restaurants! The hotel service is good. If you are a person who is sensitive to history, then you are in the right place.
