The hotel made for a good overnight stop which had a car park and is not too far from aix-en-provence. An easy smooth check in and a friendly welcome and the room itself was one of the usual campanile rooms with a double bed, separate bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. I did find the room a bit stuffy once the outside shutters were closed and I’m not sure how well the air con was working. The hotel was serving dinner which was handy after a day of travelling. There is breakfast available too. Handy for an overnight stop.

Inexpensive Motel in a quiet area. The walkway on 1st and 2nd floor is narrow and a service cart is permanently parked there, so you can't get through with a normal sized suitcase. Strong cooking fumes permeate the breakfast and reception area. Reception area closed after midnight. Sheets rough and rather worn. Manager not very service oriented. I told him I had extended my reservation on-line and he was adamant that that was impossible, I showed him the confirmation on my phone and rather than apologizing for his error he shrugged it off. When I asked him to reprogram my key for the extended stay he said no come back this evening.(even though I kept the same room). Europe implemented a "sanitary pass" during the 2nd week of my stay. Although I had my US vaccination card with me documenting I was fully vaccinated, the hotel manager said I could not eat at the restaurant, later he changed his mind and said I could have breakfast but not lunch and dinner at the motel. All other restaurants in the area accepted my US vaccination card. It just seemed that management made things as difficult as possible.

In the afternoon we went to collect our keys without going into the rooms. The recording took a very long time. The receptionist did not understand the Spanish customer before us. My husband, who masters this language, offered to act as interpreter to help us move forward, but she didn't want to. But the worst was our arrival at 10:50 p.m. We reserved 2 rooms, one for my husband and I and one for our son and his wife. The key did not open, so my daughter-in-law went to look for the receptionist. This one tried 5 minutes before arriving there to discover the room in perfect disorder, that is to say either not cleaned at all or occupied by other guests. He went back to reception for a good 10 minutes before finding a room available for them. Fortunately we didn't come at 11:05 p.m. because there would have been no more guards and I don't know how we would have done it.
The remote control for the TV in our room didn't work. If someone walks past the room talking, you can hear everything.
Breakfast was ok but €94 per room with breakfast, it's expensive for what it is

I find the reception very average, the staff are friendly, the managers are very friendly.
After 5 hours of driving you arrive 18 minutes before check in they refuse access to the room...they have the right but it's rubbish....
TV 2 functional channels...
they say the cleaning is done....well no...
FYI I spend my weeks in hotels...this is the first one that I've wasted my time giving an opinion...

Première expérience dans ce Campanile. Une longue expérience dans cette chaîne au niveau national. Accueil sympa, efficace et souriant. Petit déjeuner copieux avec de quoi satisfaire tous les appétits, du plus petit au plus grand. Literie impeccable. Propreté irréprochable. Le bémol c'est la nuit blanche que j'ai passée à cause de la route (Route de la Côte d'Azur) que j'avais quasiment en direct dans ma chambre. Je pense qu'il faudrait repenser le double (triple) vitrage et les volets de toutes les chambres donnant sur le parking. Pour ceux qui ont le sommeil lourd, RAS.

Personnel très sympathique.
Chambres très mal insonorisées! On entend les portes qui claques à l'autre bout de l'hôtel, les bruits de pas..... à toute heures de la nuits.
