Anshun Hotels with Breakfast

This internet-famous guesthouse truly lives up to its reputation, with a total of 24 rooms. The biggest drawback is the number of stairs and the lack of an elevator, but everything else is excellent! Location: It's situated next to the Balinghe Bridge in Guanling, about a 15-20 minute drive from the main Huangguoshu scenic area. Ambiance: It's a popular guesthouse located in a small, charming village. The air is filled with the scent of mugwort. The 4th-floor observation deck is perfect for watching both sunsets and sunrises. You'll hear roosters crowing in the morning. Facilities: Be prepared to climb stairs, as the highest floor is the 4th. There is a dedicated luggage elevator for your bags. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is powerful but a bit noisy (earplugs are provided by the hotel). There's a self-service laundry room with two washing machines and two dryers, along with laundry pods. Service: The butler-style service is prompt and friendly. I really appreciated the small farewell gift upon check-out. Cleanliness: Very good. Restaurant: They offer a buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and dinner requires advance ordering and reservation, with a notification when it's ready. The cocktails at the bar are excellent.

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good. The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The owner provided excellent service. Since it was the off-season and there were vacant rooms, the owner generously upgraded our room and even offered free shuttle service to and from the scenic area, which saved us a lot of hassle. Each room also comes with a washing machine, which was quite unexpected. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the light switches in the room were a bit confusing, and the toilet flush was so strong it caused some splashing. I hope the hotel continues its great work and dedicated management.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk directly to the Huangguoshu Scenic Area entrance, which was perfect for visiting the waterfall early in the morning to beat the crowds. The design of the Buyi stone house creates an amazing ambiance. The room was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with smart home features. The butler service was incredibly attentive, providing travel tips and even arranging Miao traditional costume rentals for photos. The infinity pool offers some amazing photo opportunities. This is definitely the top choice when visiting Huangguoshu! Even though there were a couple of minor hiccups, the butler handled them proactively. Overall, I'm very satisfied! 🌹🌹

The environment here is superb, with excellent views of the waterfall and the bridge! The facilities are complete, and all the guest amenities are exquisite and high-quality. The chef at the restaurant has great skills; the savory and tender grilled fish is definitely worth trying. The price isn't cheap, but I feel it's well worth it! Remember to bring your swimsuit if you plan to experience the infinity pool.

Excellent! It's very close to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and Marriott, being a big brand chain, really lives up to its reputation. However, our second stop in Xingyi was a complete disaster. We got ripped off by a hotel there and left as quickly as we could. I'll never go back to Xingyi again; it's a small city, and the hotels are a mess. We booked a room 10 days in advance at the Vienna Hotel in Xingyi, drove hundreds of kilometers to get there, only for them to inexplicably sell our room to someone else at a higher price. Our whole family was left with nowhere to stay. It was a desperate situation and left me with a terrible impression of the city.

The room was very spacious and clean, and they even provided disposable towels. I was so impressed that there were four different pillow options to choose from! While we were checking in, the room across the hall was checking out, and I saw the cleaning staff mop the entire floor thoroughly. The front desk staff (the 'little housekeepers' as I like to call them) were incredibly responsive and helpful. They even offered complimentary disposable raincoats and shoe covers for our visits to the attractions. When I asked the front desk attendant for restaurant recommendations, she patiently gave us a variety of suggestions based on different cuisine types, and even drove us there herself! They also offer a shuttle service to and from the scenic spots from 7 AM to 7 PM; the driver was always available on call, which was a huge help with transportation. Choosing to stay at Mingshengju Hotel truly made my trip so much better – I'm extremely satisfied!

The hotel is 2-3 kilometers away from the high-speed railway station, and the transportation is convenient. The road to the hotel is under construction. The hotel looks luxurious. There are many people in the lobby, which may be a large group. The front desk service is very friendly, the room is large and clean. I booked a room without breakfast, and the front desk also upgraded my room for free and gave me breakfast. The breakfast has rich varieties and the children like it very much.

Booked two rooms! Highly recommend ~ comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a convenient location! We had a lot of luggage from our road trip, and they thoughtfully helped us load it into the car. You should try the tea in the hotel lobby, it's delicious. They even refilled our hot water kettle, which was very much appreciated ~ The location near the scenic area is also super convenient ~ there's a VIP service that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel! Walking to the nearby Zangxiangge restaurant for a meal is also a great option!

It's a short walk to the Confucius Temple and Martial Temple, and incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city and enjoying the lantern-lit night views. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. The bathroom was spotless, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a smart toilet – very thoughtful details. 🍳 Delicious Breakfast The restaurant has a fresh and elegant ambiance, offering a wide array of Chinese and Western options, plus plenty of local snacks. Enjoying a leisurely breakfast with my loved one was pure bliss. 💁 Super Warm Service The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive. They proactively upgraded our room and recommended some off-the-beaten-path attractions. Any requests were handled promptly, making us feel completely at home throughout our stay. ✨ Summary A quiet oasis in a lively area, with excellent quality and a perfect location. It's ideal for a romantic getaway or a vacation. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Anshun!
