Pet Friendly Hotels in Anshun

Here's the bottom line: it's worth staying here. During the summer vacation, the best price for a twin room was 600+ RMB, which is a bit inflated, but understandable for peak season. Pros: 1. The hotel is on Tunbao Road, not far from the first, second, and third visitor centers of Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Plus, the hotel has a seven-seater shuttle van for pick-ups and drop-offs. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Balinghe Bridge. 2. The room is spacious enough, the shower pressure is excellent, the lighting in the room is bright, and there's a balcony with a fold-down wall-mounted drying rack, which is very convenient for doing laundry. 3. The service is warm and friendly. We took a direct bus from Anshun West Station to the first visitor center, and after contacting the hotel in advance, they specially arranged a car to pick us up. Throughout our stay, transfers were prompt; just call the front desk. The shuttle driver drove smoothly and communication was great. 4. It's clean and hygienic. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained overall. 5. Opposite the hotel is a wetland park. During peak season, there are bonfire parties and performances every night, which are worth checking out. If you walk further into the wetland park, there's a sluice gate with a nice view. Cons: 1. The room lighting relies entirely on a white remote control. At first, I didn't realize this and thought there was no power in the room, until I asked the front desk. 2. The TV remote control has poor contact; you have to press down on the battery to make it work. Also, if the screen turns blue, you need to restart the power button on the white set-top box (the one without an antenna). 3. The breakfast is very average. The egg fried rice and porridge are okay, but the Chinese restaurant's food is mediocre and not cheap, so I don't recommend it. In summary, if you're traveling with your whole family, including seniors and kids, this hotel is a top choice. Alternatively, Kaiyuan is also good and not far away, or for a bit more money, you could stay directly in the scenic area at Qian*Ju. All three core areas of Huangguoshu are worth visiting and can be split over two days. Remember to book tickets for Shuilian Cave 15 days in advance.

After a day of sightseeing, we came to the town for a rest and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They offer laundry service, and the staff are helpful in collecting it, which is very convenient. The breakfast was also quite substantial, with freshly made wontons and shrimp pancakes that were delicious. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy – perfect for relaxing and unwinding. There's a rooftop terrace with a coffee table where you can relax, and it's lovely to go up to the roof on a cool evening to enjoy the breeze. They also have a pool for kids, which looked nice even though we didn't use it.

After traveling through Guizhou, I stayed in various hotels in Guiyang and other places for a few days, and they were all decent. However, this hotel in Anshun was surprisingly the most hassle-free. Daisy upgraded my room to a Deluxe View King with a large balcony, offering a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance and the lawn below. Waking up in the morning and stretching out on the balcony really energized me. The balcony also had a bathtub, and soaking in hot water in the evening was very relaxing. A huge bonus was the laundry room, equipped with a dryer and laundry detergent. After a sweaty day exploring the sights, I could just throw my clothes in to wash, and they'd be ready to wear the next day. No need to pile them up and take them home, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The front desk was also quick to respond to any requests. All in all, this Anshun hotel provided a comfortable end to my trip. In the evening, I even saw beautiful radiating twilight from the hotel's lawn, which was stunning.

This hotel was superb. Well situated about 15 minutes taxi ride from the main train station. It was clean, excellent value for money, close to a variety of restaurants, cafes and all kinds of shops and services. Whatever you needed fixing or to buy you could most likely get it done close by the hotel. The staff did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable and  to help me with services, getting directions to restaurants, shops or helping to get anything I required for my journey out of town given my very limited Chinese language ability. Staff were polite and friendly and always just a phone call away to assist. The rooms were spotless and cosy with a good outlook from the windows onto the surrounding buildings. Room service staff were also friendly and lovely people as were other staff who came to assist  in making more bookings on my final night. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My trip to Huangguoshu and stay at Boying Hotel was fantastic! The staff were warm and attentive. The decor was unique. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, with soft bedding and complete amenities. The location is convenient – ​​just 800 meters from the scenic area entrance, and there are many local restaurants nearby with delicious food. Plus, it's incredibly cost-effective; compared to other hotels in the area, the price is affordable while enjoying high-quality service. Highly recommended!

The hotel is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, the service attitude is very good, very late to the boss has been waiting at the front desk and also helped with the luggage, especially intimate, consulted a lot of questions very patiently explained, also introduced us to many surrounding free attractions, but also free shuttle to the scenic spot, Very convenient next time I go to Huangguoshu and live in his house. The hotel is nestled on a hillside, offering absolutely breathtaking views. From my room, I could see both the Baling River Bridge and the surrounding mountains. The infinity pool boasts an incredible view of the Dishuitan Waterfall. The service was outstanding. When we couldn't get a ride from a remote scenic spot, even though it was peak season and they were incredibly busy, the owner still drove out to pick us up and bring us back. We really appreciate that! It was such a lifesaver. Highly recommended.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Not only were the rooms clean and tidy, but the service was exceptional. From the moment I entered the hotel, the receptionist was all smiles, and even the housekeeping staff were incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was also plentiful, and while I was relaxing in the lounge area, a staff member even made me tea. I never expected this hotel in such a small town to surprise me so much! This will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area.

The homestay is very comfortable. We have two adults and two children staying in it. The beds in the rooms are all 1.5, which is more spacious than other hotels. The owner of the B&B was very enthusiastic and took us to scenic spots several times. You can eat downstairs, the food is delicious! Recommended for those who go to Huangguoshu Waterfall. The B&B also has a swimming pool, which the children like very much.

The hotel is conveniently located close to restaurants and shops and the main bus station. The check in was one of the fastest I ever experienced in China and the ladies at the reception were very nice! I was even allowed to take a shower after a running race even though it was already past the checkout time. The room was spacious and bright, there was no cigarette smoke smell. But it desperately needs a deep clean. The bed sheets and towels were clean though and that's the most important. Recommend it if you're looking for a simple budget stay.
