Emma LeeSGIt is a beautiful stay. Aside from the wrong choice of transport, all are great. From comfort of accomodation, hospitality of the owner and workers to the delicious food and drinks. Advice: take a car to and from the accom or be like us, we took bus and pushed our luggages up the very steep slope on a high altitude, almost killing ourselves! Haa.

I stayed in the Constellation room type. The room size was pretty good, but many of the in-room amenities weren't working. I'm not sure if it was due to the internet channels, but not only were there few channels, the picture quality was also very poor. After turning off the TV, music would play, but it was always very quiet.
Breakfast was redeemed with vouchers at McDonald's or Luo Ji Minxiong Roubao. Personally, I found this quite inconvenient. It would be much better if the hotel restaurant provided breakfast, at least then you wouldn't have to go out and about. Unless, of course, you're checking out early, then it probably doesn't make a difference.

It's a newly renovated backpacker hostel in an old bungalow. The beds and blankets are all new and very clean. The beds are comfortable to sleep in. Because it's an old house, the soundproofing isn't very good. You can see the beautiful scenery of Elephant Mountain and the surrounding peaks outside. Breakfast is served at the outdoor tables and chairs area. It's very chill to eat breakfast while enjoying the view. The owner has a very outgoing and generous personality. You can take the bus to Alishan from Chiayi Railway Station and get off at ”Dongxiding Station”. The hostel is right across the street, which is very convenient. It's also only a 3-4 minute walk from Xiding Station on the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, making it very convenient to get to Alishan. I spent a wonderful three days and two nights here.

The lady owner was super lovely and accommodating. She was very welcoming and let us drop our luggage before check-in and gave us lots of good suggestions on where to go, what to do in Fenqihu and Alishan areas. She also gave some advices on the sunrise and sunset spots. We stayed in 4-people family room which as perfect and comfortable. There are all the facilities we needed and the breakfast was also very healthy and delicious. Highly recommended if you are making a trip to Alishan!

I chose this place because of its location right in Fenqihu Old Street, making shopping and exploring easy. It's also super convenient for hitting the nearby walking trails. There's no dedicated parking, but on weekdays, it was a breeze to snag a free roadside spot nearby. Weekends would be a different story though; if you don't arrive before 9 AM, you're out of luck even if you're willing to pay.
The room facilities are a bit dated, and there's no air conditioning, just an external exhaust fan for ventilation. I imagine it would be quite uncomfortable in the summer, but thankfully, the April nights were still very pleasant. My baby absolutely loved the tatami room, with all that open space to crawl around freely and happily.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, which made the stay fairly pleasant. Although it was a last-minute booking advertised as a lake-view room, the lake was quite far and only visible as a distant panoramic view. The washroom was good overall, but the toilet had a standard seat with no bidet, which may not suit all guests. Breakfast options were very limited and not ideal for international travelers. Parking facilities were good, and the service provided by the staff was decent.

After reading other reviews, I was prepared for the worst, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The pros are its excellent location, just a 5-7 minute walk to Alishan Railway Station. There's parking right in front, which is great for those driving. The breakfast restaurant they partner with is also really good! 👍👍👍 The downside is the poor soundproofing; you occasionally hear footsteps or people talking. However, since I was so tired, I fell asleep quickly, so it didn't bother me much. 🤣🤣🤣

The location is good. The hotel staff are very helpful and will inform you of all the information. The welcome afternoon tea is great. One drink per person and a large portion of small cakes. It is really excellent. Highly recommend.... The room is large and clean. The sauna equipment is old, the pool is a little dirty, the spa is broken, and the oven and steam room are not open. It would be better if it could be tidied up a little! The swimming pool is large and small, and the spa water is not deep. The spa is great for adults and children to play in, and the scenery is beautiful. Although the breakfast is not very rich, it has everything you need. It even provides beef soup, which is a plus because it is not available during renovations. Concert, looking forward to staying again after renovations to experience a different holiday atmosphere

Guest UserThe hotel's hygiene was pretty good; I didn't notice any dirty spots, and the duvet in the room was comfortable and warm. However, the soundproofing in the room was really bad. I could hear everything from the toilet flushing next door to people showering and even sneezing 😂. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. It's situated lower down among a cluster of hotels and is the furthest from Alishan Station. Getting there involves walking down stairs or a slope, which means every time you go from the hotel to the station or out for a meal, you have to walk uphill, which is quite tiring 😂. Also, there's no elevator, and even though it's only three stories high, those with large luggage should be aware.

StrongzhongThe hotel is in a tourist community next to the visitor center, just a few minutes down the steps. It's also close to the amusement park shuttle bus terminal, the shopping street, and the small train station – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had a Japanese-style tub. The decor and facilities felt quite old-fashioned. What was unacceptable was that the WiFi on the fifth floor didn't work at all. I could only pick up a signal from the second or third floor, but even then, I couldn't get online. I informed the front desk, but the person who came couldn't fix it either.
