GGuest UserThe B&B has a beautiful environment, with many flowers planted around. You can see the owner's thoughtful touches everywhere, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The service is great, and the breakfast is delicious. It's definitely worth recommending a one-night stay to experience the gentle tranquility of Alishan.

AAlice Y. LUIt is the best place we have stayed in our Taiwan trip.My husband and I have enjoyed so much the time while we stay there.It is clean, and well decorated to make it as cozy and warm as possible.we were so relaxed and happy there.

MmalukoIt's a newly renovated backpacker hostel in an old bungalow. The beds and blankets are all new and very clean. The beds are comfortable to sleep in. Because it's an old house, the soundproofing isn't very good. You can see the beautiful scenery of Elephant Mountain and the surrounding peaks outside. Breakfast is served at the outdoor tables and chairs area. It's very chill to eat breakfast while enjoying the view. The owner has a very outgoing and generous personality. You can take the bus to Alishan from Chiayi Railway Station and get off at ”Dongxiding Station”. The hostel is right across the street, which is very convenient. It's also only a 3-4 minute walk from Xiding Station on the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, making it very convenient to get to Alishan. I spent a wonderful three days and two nights here.

GGuest UserIt's quite convenient. You can get there in a short walk from the station. There is also a McDonald's next to it, so you can go out and buy something to eat when you are hungry at night. It's quite convenient overall.

AA-OreoOur stay in the family room at Fenqihu Hotel truly exceeded expectations! The room was much more spacious than I imagined; we could spread out our luggage with plenty of room to spare, which is a huge plus for families traveling together. The beds were incredibly comfortable – I fell asleep instantly, getting that much-needed relaxation during a trip 😌.
What I loved most was how clean the entire place was. There was no dampness or stuffy smell, which is quite rare and impressive for a mountain area. It was also very quiet at night, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Waking up to a full mountain view outside the window, with super fresh air, felt like an instant recharge 🌄.
The staff were also very friendly and approachable, patiently helping us with any questions we had. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the old street, making it super easy to enjoy local food and take photos.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for travelers looking to relax and conveniently explore Fenqihu. It's absolutely perfect for families, and I would definitely love to stay here again!

GGuest UserThe room facilities were complete and very clean, and there was always hot water for showering. The B&B's location is quite close to two train stations, and there's also a walking trail nearby where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us lots of great suggestions for our itinerary. We enjoyed their prepared breakfast on the balcony, and their tea was especially fragrant.

AABHIJITSINGHThe room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, which made the stay fairly pleasant. Although it was a last-minute booking advertised as a lake-view room, the lake was quite far and only visible as a distant panoramic view. The washroom was good overall, but the toilet had a standard seat with no bidet, which may not suit all guests. Breakfast options were very limited and not ideal for international travelers. Parking facilities were good, and the service provided by the staff was decent.

GGuest UserThe name is very grand. From the appearance, you can see how the original owner put a lot of effort into building it. It is beautiful and some of the saunas in the facilities are great! The temperature is sufficient and the water is clean. It's a pity that the steam room is not open, but overall I am very satisfied. There is an outdoor swimming pool for swimming, an indoor gym, a children's playroom, several game consoles, etc. for use. Great!
Have breakfast at Galileo Western Restaurant, the beef soup is super recommended! Others are ordinary but reasonably varied. Afternoon tea is great! It is recommended that everyone try their afternoon tea if you have the opportunity! If you want to take a vacation, you can come here~ It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Renyitan near the hotel. The lake and mountains are beautiful, especially the sunset, which is very beautiful!

GGuest UserThe hotel's hygiene was pretty good; I didn't notice any dirty spots, and the duvet in the room was comfortable and warm. However, the soundproofing in the room was really bad. I could hear everything from the toilet flushing next door to people showering and even sneezing 😂. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. It's situated lower down among a cluster of hotels and is the furthest from Alishan Station. Getting there involves walking down stairs or a slope, which means every time you go from the hotel to the station or out for a meal, you have to walk uphill, which is quite tiring 😂. Also, there's no elevator, and even though it's only three stories high, those with large luggage should be aware.

SStrongzhongThe hotel is in a tourist community next to the visitor center, just a few minutes down the steps. It's also close to the amusement park shuttle bus terminal, the shopping street, and the small train station – the location is absolutely fantastic. The room was a bit small, and the bathroom had a Japanese-style tub. The decor and facilities felt quite old-fashioned. What was unacceptable was that the WiFi on the fifth floor didn't work at all. I could only pick up a signal from the second or third floor, but even then, I couldn't get online. I informed the front desk, but the person who came couldn't fix it either.
