Perfect
ZZhuigexiaofengerThis is a stunning guesthouse, nestled amidst the breathtaking scenery of Qiandao Lake. And it truly is a picturesque lakeside retreat! I discovered that due to an extended bay, when the wind blows, two sections of water merge, creating two shimmering reflections on the surface, a serene and beautiful scene. The courtyard is spacious and well-designed; the owners clearly put a lot of thought into it, perhaps not just to attract tourists, but also to please themselves, as everything is incredibly comfortable. I spent two nights relaxing on a poolside lounge chair, gazing at the stars, enjoying the cool evening breeze – pure bliss. Dinner tasted like home cooking, with carefully selected ingredients and methods. The nearby rafting is fantastic; the owner's wife gave me an unbeatable tip – the water ladle is definitely the best weapon! 😂 I'm already looking forward to bringing my family back!

GGuest UserNestled on a peninsula of Qiandao Lake, The ANLAN Qiandao Lake blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and water, its traditional Huizhou-style white walls and dark tiles painting a picturesque Jiangnan landscape. All accommodations are private villas, offering spacious interiors and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly frame the lake views. The lakeside bathtub adds a touch of luxurious ambiance, and the amenities are thoughtfully selected. Privacy is excellent. Our butler, Eva, provided meticulous and attentive service, responding promptly to all our needs. The resort offers a shuttle service for getting around the expansive property, and the infinity pool is stunning for photos. Guests can also enjoy water activities like paddleboarding. The hotel is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; wake up to misty lake mornings and enjoy peaceful sunsets over the water, fully immersing yourself in the quiet serenity of nature. For our self-driving trip from Hangzhou, the large size of the resort meant waiting for the shuttle to get around. Overall, it's an ideal place for a relaxing getaway, and perfect for couples and families seeking a peaceful retreat. 👍

BBell YYI'm so glad I chose the Intercontinental Qiandao Lake, Shilin for this stay. Our two-day hotel trip perfectly met the vacation needs of my entire family, from the youngest to the oldest.
The hotel's location and environment are superb. Although it's a bit far from the high-speed rail station, its exclusive spot on the Xianshan Peninsula allowed us to avoid the holiday crowds and enjoy a quiet vacation. We ate all our meals at the hotel for two consecutive days. The Chinese restaurant's flavors were unexpectedly delicious, and the breakfast quality at the all-day Western restaurant was also very high. Ordering noodles and coffee by scanning a QR code was a very thoughtful touch. During our meals, staff members even came to ask about our dining experience and handed out small gifts, making for a great interactive experience.
The hotel offers a rich schedule of activities throughout the day, including hiking, sound therapy, and lake tours, so there's never a dull moment. Our butler, Jolie, provided attentive and thoughtful service. She patiently answered all our questions and requests, making it the best service I've ever received at a hotel. Finally, I've included a few photos taken at the hotel to show just how wonderful the environment is.

The space is comfortable and the functional partition is reasonable. The facilities are high-end, the sanitation is meticulous, the service is intimate, the perfect choice for family travel or team building, and I will come next time I have a chance [rose]

AAnonymous UserWent to Qiandao Lake with a friend. The pre-sale price on Trip.com was actually better than on the app.
The hotel environment is excellent, no complaints there. Although the hotel is a bit older, the decor still looks great and isn't outdated at all, even by today's standards. The view from the selected lake-view room was also nice. The only downside is that the island across is quite close, so perhaps the depth of field isn't ideal. However, the service facilities in all other aspects were perfect. For this price, I really can't find anything to complain about. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews 😂. This trip was hosted by Anna Dai, and the overall service was superb.
Breakfast was just average; felt like there weren't many options. As a membership member, I received a complimentary preserved vegetable pastry, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very good experience.

GGuest UserSince my friend and I were traveling with our dogs, we chose this hotel. The hotel environment is very good, the front desk service is also very good, and we upgraded the suite because our child is older (16 years old). The breakfast is also OK, although there are not many varieties, but the taste is good.

AAnonymous UserIt’s a chilly season, but the welcome was so warm! Really enjoyed the excellent, attentive service。 Plentiful hot water, quiet rooms, we got an upgrade ☺️ and the breakfast options are varied and suit most tastes.
Do remember to bring a warm layer to breakfast as they often open the patio doors and it gets drafty, and organize your translation, food delivery, and DiDi apps and eSIM - wifi is unstable and the ******* applet on Alipay was unusable.
Thankfully the location is great, walkable to the InTime mall and many local food spots and fruit shops. And the views are wonderful - weekend evenings have the downtown buildings light up in displays that beautifully reflect on the lake.
The foreigner husband gives it a 4/5, and recommends the hotel to add a fresh-cooked egg/omelet station and to make sure hot food stays hot (the warming pans were usually not on).

GGuest UserThe location was good if you are planning an early boat trip, as it is only a 2 minute walk away from the pier. But if you want to sleep in, you hear the boat horns as each one departs in the morning. Is is not walkable distance to the center, but a quick didi ride away only. My initial room that I booked (single room), despite being promoted as a non smoking room, smelled horrific when I entered. They immediately changed my room when I told them about it. The shower had mould stains, but I am assuming they might have been older stains as even my highly allergic nose did not have any trouble. I did not try the breakfast as I was looking for something with protein, but breakfast was included. I believe I saw boiled corn, steamed sweet potatoes and a type of bao bun. Not fully sure. When I had trouble renting ebikes without local ID, the staff were very helpful and spent 30 minutes handling it all for us. Was given slippers on arrival, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The room had showergel and shampoo, but no handsoap. There was a bottle of slimey something in the bathroom, maybe that was handsoap, did not want to risk it. But overall, was a nice stay.

EElevemm52I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out!
The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking.
The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly.
The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserWhen booking a hotel in Qiandao Lake, my main concerns were that the older hotels were too dated and the newer ones too expensive. After comparing several options, I decided on a strategy: first, since it was a family trip with kids, it had to be a resort hotel. Second, it absolutely needed to be lakeside with a focus on views and experience. Finally, value for money and hotel amenities were important. That's why I chose this hotel.
Upon arrival, the experience was indeed great. The room was spacious, offering a first-row lake view. The pool, petting zoo, and other amenities were all conveniently located within the hotel. The breakfast noodles were particularly distinctive. An evening electric buggy ride around the lake with my family of four was also very pleasant.
My only minor complaint is the limited number of charging stations. With more and more electric cars on the road, arriving late in the evening meant no charging spots were available. However, overall, the experience was fantastic, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Qiandao Lake.
