The service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel. Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience. If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

This hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Middle Road, very close to West Street, Guandi Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Confucian Temple, and many other attractions – all within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of popular spots nearby, including great food and unique coffee shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. The only minor downsides are that, perhaps due to its downtown location, the breakfast area is a bit small and the selection isn't huge. Also, it doesn't have a full range of public facilities like a gym or pool. However, these didn't detract from the overall stay experience, as the in-room facilities are quite new. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

I immediately fell in love with this B&B near the Bell Tower after watching a short video. I booked it right away. The owner contacted me the day before and sent me the location and room information. The B&B is located in the city center, with twin beds measuring 1.5 meters. The bathroom and room were spotless, with smart toilets, and the decor was pleasant. Upon arrival, the owner not only sent me a few days' worth of travel guides but also recommended snacks. The small white taxi is also very convenient for getting to the old town. There are plenty of snack shops and breakfast restaurants on the neighboring streets, including my favorite Mei Chaofeng. I also found a fresh food supermarket. They even gave me a complimentary hairpin making experience. The price was reasonable.

Stayed at Allston Hotel (Anxi County Government Store) during my trip to Anxi and overall it was quite a pleasant stay. The location is very convenient, close to the main road and not far from local attractions and restaurants, which makes travelling around the area easy. Even though it is near the road, the room was relatively quiet at night, so it didn’t affect the rest at all. The front desk service was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in, and they were quick to assist whenever needed. Special mention to the front desk lady very polite, attentive, and yes… quite pretty too! One small thing I would like to mention is that hotel hygiene could be improved slightly. There were some minor cleanliness issues in the room that needed more attention. However, what I truly appreciate is that after giving feedback, the front desk immediately arranged a change to a better room, which showed that they really care about guest experience and service quality. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, with good location, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. With a little more attention to cleanliness, it would be even better. I would still recommend it for travelers visiting Anxi, especially for solo travelers or short stays.

Quanzhou Wanda Vista Hotel: An amazing five-star experience, highly recommended! My stay at the Quanzhou Wanda Vista Hotel was absolutely fantastic, truly a five-star luxury experience perfect for both business and leisure! The hotel's location is superb, right in the city center and adjacent to Puxi Wanda Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Getting to attractions and transportation hubs is also a breeze. The lobby beautifully blends Southern Fujian (Min-nan) charm with modern luxury, creating an elegant and grand atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable the moment you step in. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely designed. The river-view room offered breathtaking scenery of the Jinjiang River through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive, with smart room controls and high-quality toiletries, showcasing attention to every detail. The service was impeccable. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic, and the concierge was thoughtful and attentive. I felt well-cared for throughout my stay. The breakfast was plentiful, with authentic local Min-nan specialties like *mianxian hu* (vermicelli paste) and *rouzong* (savory glutinous rice dumplings). The fitness center and swimming pool were clean and well-maintained with advanced equipment, perfect for relaxation. Overall, the experience was perfect. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark for high-end hotels in Quanzhou. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Quanzhou!

Traveling from Beijing all the way to Quanzhou, I chose the Hilton Quanzhou. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Xiaohu at the front desk, who was very welcoming and seemed quite gentle. Check-in was quick and professional. The room they assigned me had an excellent view with two floor-to-ceiling windows that really brightened my mood. The breakfast was also great. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the room wasn't very responsive. Thanks to Lily Hu at the front desk, who was very warm and polite, and always ready to answer any questions.

This hotel is simply perfect! The room was huge, and the cleaning staff tidied up every day. Every evening, they'd bring sweet soups like tremella or red bean, along with fruit, right to our room. The restaurant on the 22nd floor was also great; we could leisurely enjoy breakfast there before heading out. There's a gym and a pool on the 6th floor. Speaking of which, I almost gave a bad review. When I chose this hotel, it was specifically because of their swimming pool. However, when I got there, I found out that during the Chinese New Year period, the pool hours were only from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is exactly when we were out and about! How could anyone use the pool then? I was so annoyed. But, considering their excellent service, I let it go and still gave a full five stars. I also want to give a special shout-out to ”Huihui” at the front desk. We accidentally left something in the hotel fridge and only realized it after we'd checked out. Huihui very enthusiastically helped us find it and even mailed it to us. We're so grateful! All in all, this is a hotel with complete facilities, thoughtful service, and a warm, lovely atmosphere. It's the kind of cozy place that made us look forward to coming back to rest every day after a tiring day of sightseeing.

Quanzhou West Lake Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to West Lake Park, offering great transport links. The 'Little White Car' stop right outside provides direct access to the ancient city's core. The hotel facilities are new and comprehensive, with spacious and bright rooms. Some room types even feature oversized floor-to-ceiling windows, offering expansive views of West Lake – truly a sight to behold. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, making check-in a breeze, and the intelligent robot delivery service is a convenient touch. The hotel's quiet environment makes it ideal for families or business travelers, and its high value for money makes it a fantastic choice for visiting Quanzhou.

After further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing. Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items. Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
