Zhenjiang Hotels with Breakfast

Honestly this is the best hotel I stay during my whole trip in China. Once I enter the lobby to check in they serve us with a tea. One of the lady also know how to speak some English which is good for foreigners. They don't really question us that much regarding our visa like any other hotel. The lobby is also spacious and very nice interior. The room I book for 3 people is so big too it can fit for 4 people. We were given the 8th floor so we get the view of the front of Nanshan. The laundry area is really nice, everything is there! The laundry detergent, the iron. And what I like the most is they have laundry services in which the aayi will help you do your laundry and even fold them for you! 🤗 In our room we also have a sofa which is great! I also ask for a late checkout but they don't have problem with it at all. After check out they gave us another bottle of water. Overall this is the best hotel I've had so far and will definitely stay here again when I came to Zhenjiang!😍 5 STAR!!

I have come to Maoshan Blessed Land to pray and burn incense many times. This is the first time I stayed at Dinggong Sun Viewing Cliff B&B. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Although the hardware facilities in the room cannot be compared with four- or five-star hotels🆚, the environment in the public places is very artistic, and the geographical location here is excellent👍. You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise🌅sunset🌅 scenery👍👍You can also burn the first incense to pray🙏 The owner of the B&B is very nice and enthusiastic ❤️. He is always responsive 👍. Although the dinner set menu is a bit expensive, it tastes good 😋. Such an environment and such taste are worth it 👍. The breakfast buffet 🍜 and ☕️ are both good. Thank you for the amulet sent by the owner. I will choose this place next time 😄

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the west entrance of Xijin Ferry. Within a hundred meters, you'll find a plethora of popular eateries, from à la carte restaurants to dim sum places, coffee shops, and even the famous 'Guogai Mian' (pot-lid noodles). The only downside is that it gets very crowded on weekends and holidays, so be prepared to queue. The hotel itself is small but exquisitely designed, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable on weekdays, though they do go up during holidays. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jinshan Temple, and you can easily take a taxi or public transport to Beigu Mountain and Jiaoshan Mountain, both within a 4-kilometer radius.

One word to describe this hotel: AMAZING. A beautiful, clean and luxurious hotel sitting just across the road from the Yangtze River. The tranquil and serenity enveloped me the moment I stepped out of my ride immediately relaxed every cell in my body. The staff are amazing, they actually made it a point to remember which room I stayed in. Got an upgrade and wow, the room was just amazing. They had a very wide breakfast spread for us to choose from, from the usual english breakfast to Jiangsu's traditional noodles. Be sure to ask for their baby lobster noodles and big bao, just super yummy. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant the 1st night and tried the delicacies they had. Puffer fish and what they called 长鱼, were really very yummy too. I really, really, highly recommend this hotel should you want to visit Zheng Jiang. I'll definitely be back again.

The location is excellent, the environment is nice, the rooms are spacious, the layout is good and practical, and the design style is warm and elegant. However, the actual experience wasn't very solid. For example, there's no ramp to enter the lobby, so you have to carry your luggage up the steps; the smart toilet splashes water when you sit down; the smart voice system malfunctions; the air conditioner keeps switching on and off and is very noisy when it starts; when the shower head is adjusted to medium water pressure, the outer nozzles barely spray any water, but when the water pressure is increased, the outer nozzles are weak while the center nozzles spray with a force like a high-pressure water gun, which is puzzling. The staff are enthusiastic and patient, and actively try to solve the problems, but the equipment really needs to be properly adjusted.

Very satisfied. Service: Excellent. Special mention to Ms. Pan Hua and Ms. Yao Ting!! And Mr. Qiao Hongsheng, who helped with the car wash. He was very friendly and proactive in resolving issues. Thank you for your hard work. Cleanliness: Excellent too! I used to think that old hotels might have average cleanliness, but this one was exceptional. The room provided plenty of disposables and small drinks, which was a very thoughtful touch. A future renovation would be even better! Five-star rating! 

Despite our late arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in. They even thoughtfully upgraded our room and provided complimentary warm milk to help us sleep. The room itself was very comfortable, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing ensured a perfect night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of choices, and the service staff were courteous and attentive. In the afternoon, the front desk proactively offered us a complimentary late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful! Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience!

The price is really good for off-peak travel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel front desk provided us with meticulous service with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Not only did they patiently select a comfortable room for us to ensure that we stayed at ease, but they also carefully introduced the beautiful scenery and characteristics around the hotel, which gave us a deeper understanding of Zhenjiang. In particular, the tourist route planned for us by Xiao Zhang at the front desk was so thoughtful! I was deeply impressed that she took the initiative to contact us when something accidentally fell in the lobby. Your enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel the warmth of home and made this trip more memorable. It is our luck to meet a front desk like you who serves with heart! I am very satisfied with this stay experience. There are many parking spaces, and there are places with popular snacks around. The room is also clean and tidy. The waiters I met are all warmly greeted. It is a happy and satisfying experience.

Hotel us very good. This is my second time for business trip. I liked this hotel. Reception people was very caring and nice. Hot has very nice breakfast Europe and asian style. Hotel has free coffee at reception if you want. Walking distance some electronic mall and 2-3 min by car metro station.

GreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again. Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy. The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see. The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget ＞ mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China. The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc). My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell. In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
