First off, the hotel's location is super convenient, and it has its own parking garage, which was great for us since we drove. Plus, it's a new hotel, so everything was really clean. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and the room facilities were clean and well-equipped. They even offer dinner every evening, which is more of a light meal, but the snacks like noodles and fried dumplings were delicious! What really stands out is how affordable the hotel is, especially for such a great environment – it felt like incredible value for money. And every single staff member was so friendly. Overall, a perfect stay. I hope they keep up the good work!

Taking advantage of the off-peak season, I came alone to experience the Yellow River Homestay. Each homestay has a different decoration style. I chose Xipo on the recommendation of my friend and was very satisfied. The facilities and services corresponding to this price are really worth it. The price of two nights in the off-season is equivalent to the price of a normal night. The hair dryer is Dyson, and the toiletries are all from the laboratory. There are also beer + drinks in the mini bar, freshly ground coffee, and freshly made bread (forgot to take a picture). The sea salt rolls are super delicious, and the scones are also good, not sweet at all, which suits my taste.
The whole homestay is very quiet, close to the Yellow River, and there are trails. If there are many people at night, you can drink, eat barbecue and watch the stars by the Yellow River.
The service of private butler Xiaoying is really excellent. She will contact the guests about three days before you check in and help arrange some matters, such as car pick-up, introduction of food, drink and entertainment nearby, food, drink and entertainment in Zhongwei, and travel photography needs. She will also recommend it. After check-in, she will also take meticulous care of the guests. She deserves 100 points. Such a niche place is highly recommended for family and couple travel. If you go to Zhongwei, you must stay at Huanghe Suji to experience the local traditional customs.

My first encounter with the Diamond 💎 Hotel was through Starry, and after reading online reviews, I was impressed by the beautiful views and attentive service. Then, Ctrip had a 'buy one, get one free' offer, which seemed like a great deal, so I booked it. It truly was a fantastic value.
First, I experienced the hotel's service. Our butler, Felix, was incredibly thoughtful. We arrived by train 🚞 early in the morning and headed straight to the Shapotou scenic area. Felix thoughtfully prepared shoe covers and neck gaiters for us, accompanied us throughout, helped with luggage, and looked after the children. With three adults and two children, I honestly don't know how we would have managed in the scenic area without him. He waited patiently at each activity, making our entire visit to Shapotou stress-free. Felix was truly wonderful.
Then, we returned to the hotel, which seamlessly blends ultimate beauty with top-notch facilities. To find such a stunning man-made landscape in the vast Tengger Desert, with a church and pool perfectly integrated, was amazing. Each room feels like a diamond 💎, and the room amenities are also top-tier. The hotel includes both à la carte and buffet options for breakfast and dinner, which is quite rare in such a remote desert.
Our stay was excellent. Although there was a minor hiccup, the staff's service was impeccable and it was resolved to our satisfaction very quickly – hats off to them.
However, I do have a suggestion: the hotel's public areas are a bit limited, and activities mainly rely on the Starry Hotel. The Diamond Hotel could consider offering some of its own unique activities.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place! I’m writing this as a foreigner who went with 4 other foreigners for a special birthday weekend. First, the service. We have good Chinese proficiency, but those with limited to none will be fine. Most of the communication and coordination is handled via WeChat - which can auto translate. 东 “Dong” was our main contact. He rocked and gave us a real experience. He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, just in the hinterland of the Tengger Desert, close to Zhongwei for about 30 minutes, geographically speaking, it belongs to the junction of Zhongwei and Inner Mongolia. The store is particularly good. There is a pick-up service. The campground is free to pick up. The service is particularly good. The reserved pick-up bus sent us directly to the parking lot of the reception center, and then the staff received us. If you want to play the project, you can take a surf car. It is especially fun. If you don't want to play the project, you can make a camp shuttle bus in and out of the desert! The service attitude is very good, get off the bus to help us with our luggage, take the initiative to send us to the room, it feels better than the hotel in the city. The kind of one-to-one service, we will be treated as family members when we come, and the chat is also very easy-going. The restaurant in the camp can order food and taste good! In short, very good! GGuest UserThe room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.

The hotel should give an explanation. I don't know which project should be reviewed, so I ordered one in the facilities: very poor.
