Copenhagen Hotels with Breakfast

Came here based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, but I have to say it's more about looks than functionality. The design is really strong, but the actual room functionality for staying here is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers. The room is very dark, only suitable for a leisurely stay. Overall, this hotel feels like it's all style and no substance.

Great hostel in an excellent location. It’s within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, and many of the city’s main attractions, which made exploring the city easy. What stood out most was how much there is to do inside the hostel. If you arrive before check-in or have a late flight, train, or bus after check-out, there are plenty of spaces to relax, work, or socialize. There are games, a rooftop area, a gym, and several common spaces, so waiting never feels like a waste of time. The hostel is clean, modern, and has a friendly atmosphere. Lockers are available for luggage storage for an additional fee, which is convenient if you want to explore the city without carrying your bags. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and groups visiting Copenhagen.

Breakfast was great! The staff were very friendly! The complimentary glass of wine from 5 to 6 PM is a nice bonus. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

I was around the city for 3days of design and happy for the stay (female share room). The room is pretty clean except there was no curtain for each bed and bathroom was tiny than expected. The hostel is nearby the metro station and easy to walk down to the city center. It’s surrounded by a small lake, people used to running and jogging there a lot. Also, You can pay 100 DKK for late check-out and stay until 1:00 PM. But no early check-in was available. Instead there’s a storage downstairs which charge me 2 hours for 25 DKK and 6 hours for 40 DKK.

The room we stayed in was on the 17th floor and had a great view. The location is excellent—it’s close to the train station, and there are several restaurants and supermarkets within a short walking distance. The room wasn’t very big, and the lighting wasn’t bright enough, so it felt a bit dark at night. I really liked the idea of offering free snacks and bread at the reception that were left over from the breakfast buffet. It’s a thoughtful way to reduce food waste.

The hostel was easy to find, few minutes from the metro which was important to me. Every staffmember was really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was welcoming. The tent was small for 4 persons but I knew that I will mostly just sleep there, the bed was comfortable and clean. I read in other reviews that a curtain would be nice, I agree with that also. The bathroom was really big, plenty of showers and toilets, there was hot water every time which was also important to me. I had breakfast on a few days, which was also good and I really liked sitting in the outside tables, I also had a chance to connect with other travellers every day. On the last day I left my luggage in one of the lockers so I could explore the city freely, that was also a good bonus. They provided earplugs, which I used during my sleep, overall all ”campers” were respectful and quiet after 10 pm but still it was a lot of people in a small space. For solo travellers this is a good choice as the hotel prices are 4-5 times higher.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and definitely the biggest advantage of the property, but unfortunately, almost everything else fell short of expectations. What made the experience particularly unpleasant was the attitude of the staff. It was my first time staying at a hotel that uses a mobile phone as a room key and for elevator access. Since I was unfamiliar with the system, I went to the front desk and politely asked for help. Instead of receiving a proper explanation, the staff seemed reluctant to assist me. Two staff members even came across as sarcastic and made me feel embarrassed for not knowing how the system worked. They explained it in a condescending manner, as if I were asking something obvious or foolish. I felt ridiculed rather than helped. Throughout my stay, the staff were generally unfriendly, did not smile, and gave the impression that they wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. They did not even check whether I had eventually managed to access my room. I was also shocked that I had to pay an additional fee to store my luggage before check-in. I have stayed in many hotels and have never been charged such a significant amount simply to leave my luggage for a few hours. Considering the price of the room, this felt unreasonable and disappointing. In addition, the hotel was noisy and the cleanliness did not meet my expectations. Overall, the stay simply did not feel comfortable or welcoming. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and a much more professional attitude from the staff. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had, and apart from the excellent location, I would not recommend staying here.

The atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and relaxed and the location is great, but the hygiene is not really good for the bathroom, there is a weak water flow for the shower, and the hotel reception was in the bar, and the rooms were above the bar, making it a bit noisy at night. This hostel don't have any common areas; you either went out or stayed in the dorm. They didn't even provide shower gel or shampoo.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location & great value The hotel is overall very good. Service is decent and satisfactory, nothing outstanding but perfectly fine. Location is truly excellent! It’s very easy to get here from the airport: take the direct bus, only costs 30 DKK per person, and it’s just a 2-minute walk to the hotel after getting off. It’s also very convenient for getting around: about 15 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to the city centre, and 30–40 minutes to the main tourist attractions on foot. The room is a bit small, but small yet fully equipped — everything you need is there, clean and practical. Overall a great choice, especially for anyone valuing convenient transport!

My overall stay was quite pleasant. The room, though not large, was well-designed, clean, and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and all basic amenities were provided. The bathroom was a bit compact, but perfectly functional for daily use. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out, which was simple and convenient. The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the Ørestad Metro and train stations, all within walking distance. There's also the large Fields shopping center nearby. It's super convenient for getting to Copenhagen city center by metro or Copenhagen Airport by train, making it ideal for tourists. Breakfast was also more extensive than I expected, with croissants, bread, ham, salami, cheese, eggs, and vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. There was a good variety, and it was a very decent hotel breakfast. The only thing I think could be improved is the soundproofing in the rooms; it's a bit weak. Sometimes I could hear noise from the hallway or other rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, with its convenient transportation, clean rooms, good breakfast, and decent value for money, it was a very satisfactory stay. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.
