"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The surrounding area is vibrant and full of life, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the design and comfort of the space.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location. I will definitely return on my next visit!"

Very Good
GGuest UserWe stayed here for a diving competition locally and canāt fault this hotel for value for money! The room was a decent size and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was decent enough and lots of choice. The staff were very attentive and I canāt believe we only paid Ā£58 for the 3 of us with breakfast included! And thereās a pool, gym and sauna included in that price!
Reading town is a bit rough but if you need to be central itās right by the high street and town centre, so very easy
GGuest UserWe had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times.
The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didnāt need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldnāt have been able to climb into the bath to use it.
Breakfast was excellent.
RraffzThe staff is friendly and polite. Although itās a bit of a drive from Newbury and closer to Thatcham, the location isnāt too bad. There are even public transport links, with a bus stop outside on the line that connects Newbury to Reading. I havenāt tried the food yet, as it seemed a bit expensive to me. However, thereās a pub nearby that serves excellent food. Unfortunately, thereās no air conditioning, but fans are provided.
GGuest UserAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy.
The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night.
Not sure if recommended staying here. .
GGuest UserAlthough the environment is old, well-equipped, it is cheap enough, the front desk brother has a good service attitude, and he opens the door to receive me very late in the morning.
SScarlyThe hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and will promptly handle any issues you raise.
The hotel's decoration and furniture are outdated, and the bathroom should be renovated. The overall appearance of the hotel and the rooms are neat and clean; the surrounding environment is quiet. It takes about 12-15 minutes to drive to the city center, which is suitable for self-driving tourists. Parking is included in the room rate, saving you the trouble of paying for parking separately.
GGuest UserHi we just wanted a hotel within close distance of Reading town centre on a budget. It had all that we needed but could have done with air con. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any needs of customers.
VViggiReally loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and itās location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!
