Daejeon Hotels with Breakfast

This is a hot spring hotel that's a remodeled motel, and the hot spring water was very satisfying. However, because it's an older building, the soundproofing wasn't great. The service was good, and breakfast wasn't bad for the price.

Not far from the subway station, about a ten-minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good, though unfortunately, the dining time was a bit short, which led to the breakfast area being overcrowded. Check-in and check-out times are quite strict, 3 PM for check-in and 10 AM for check-out, which is quite typical of Japanese hotels. The air conditioner leaked all night, soaking the whole desk. Luckily, the staff cleaned it every day. The front desk staff were friendly, so overall, the service attitude was still very good.

I took a half-day off work to go to the bank, but hit a reality check (I'm looking for a new place because my lease is expiring). Feeling heartbroken about this and that, Extreme P's thoughtless trip began. Suddenly, I wanted to eat bread (I had been thinking about bread and Sungsimdang for a while). So, I went to Daejeon. I also went to Daejeon because it feels familiar; my family home and relatives lived in Daejeon and Nonsan when I was very young (the Expo was the very embodiment of Kkumdori). Maybe because it's been so long, it has changed so much. First, I went to my accommodation to drop off my luggage, and when I came to eat nearby, most of the popular restaurants were closed, so I just went to eat meat to feel more at home. I'm a solo traveler who frequents meat restaurants even when I'm alone. Usually, meat restaurants only accept orders for two or more people. So, that's okay! Saying that, I ordered briquette bulgogi and noodles. I left a little bit of the noodles behind, but I finished all the meat. I was so happy. Actually, I didn't order any alcohol because I don't think I would have been able to finish it all if I had been drinking. It's a little regrettable. While washing off my sweat-soaked body, I used the Styler provided in the accommodation!! Actually, one of the reasons I ate the meat was because there was a Styler in the room I was staying in (I didn't bring any clothes at all, just went empty-handed). As expected, Korea is so great and convenient to travel in!

The location is close to Sintanjin, and the staff are friendly and nice. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you go late, but I don't think those who are good drivers will have any trouble. Just so you know, if you have trouble, the staff at the counter will help you :)

We came for kid’s volleyball tournament didn’t get a chance to explore the city.  It’s a nice little basic hotel.

Facilities: Alright, it's more of a retro style, with plenty of space. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Lots of great food options nearby, convenient for getting around, and you can hail a car right outside the entrance. Service: Very good service, they can store your luggage.

This place was a bit of a surprise. I was originally on a business trip to Sejong, and I took advantage of a break to stop by Daejeon before heading back to Seoul. The hotel lobby was rather small, which didn't meet my expectations, but when I went upstairs, I found the rooms to be spacious and clean (unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures). There were also bottled water refrigerators in the hallways for everyone to drink from, and coffee machines on every floor, so every morning I could smell the aroma of Americano coffee in the air. Overall, it was a very good experience, and it's also very close to Daejeon Sky Street and the Sacred Heart Church flagship store! Highly recommended!

The location was great as it is close to City Hall subway station, and the interior facilities were clean and nice. Above all, the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast restaurant staff were also very friendly, and I definitely want to stay here again next time.

I thought it was a decent place despite being old, but a huge bug came out of the floor, and seeing the dirty water stains and dust on the tableware, the cleanliness is not good. Also, parking is mechanical, but you can just park on the street outside. The check-in time is very tight. Even if you arrive early, they won't let you in before 3 PM, so make sure to arrive on time.

Despite being an old building, the room condition was really clean and excellent. The staff were also very professional and friendly. The generous checkout time was also convenient. However, due to its age, there was a slight ammonia smell in the bathroom. Considering the building's age, this was entirely understandable, and it was easily manageable with a fabric freshener I brought myself. I also liked that the bathroom was spacious.
