Bukhara Hotels with Breakfast

We had an amazing stay at Mirana Boutique Hotel in Bukhara. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location, with many of the main attractions within walking distance, which made it very easy to explore the beautiful city of Bukhara. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and very clean. The facilities are excellent; brand new and high-tech facilities. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was also amazing, with plenty of choice and something to suit everyone. It was a great way to start the day. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. Mirshod, Abdulaziz and Khayit went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality and kindness really made a difference and made us feel at home. Bukhara is such a beautiful and with very hospitable people, and staying at Mirana Boutique Hotel made our experience even more special. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bukhara and would happily stay here again. ❤️🇺🇿 Thank you to the whole team for making our trip so memorable!

I had to wait a long time to check in when I arrived, possibly because I booked that same evening and the hotel hadn't updated the order yet. I had booked a city view room, but was told the hotel's order was for a courtyard view, and that city view rooms were no longer available. The hotel offered to let me switch rooms the next day, but I decided against it as I didn't want to go through the hassle again. Later, the owner waived the laundry service fee for me. The next day, they asked for my passport again, saying they forgot to register it during check-in the day before. It really made me wonder what the front desk staff was doing during check-in that night. The owner, however, was quite polite and had a good attitude. The courtyard view room lacked privacy; I had to keep the curtains drawn all the time, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The room itself was mostly fine, but the bathroom's exhaust fan might be too close to the kitchen's range hood exhaust, as I could smell cooking fumes from breakfast in the bathroom in the mornings. Breakfast was just so-so. It started at 8 AM, and by a little after 9 AM, some dishes were almost gone. For example, there were only two fried eggs left, perhaps they weren't refilled promptly. While breakfast was filling, the variety and taste weren't as good as breakfasts at similarly priced hotels in China, so don't set your expectations too high. The figs, though, were good and sweet. Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse. If you're looking for more professional service and more facilities, a chain hotel would be a better fit. But if you're looking for value for money, it's sufficient for a quick stopover.

A wonderful place! Located in the heart of the old town. A small but very modern and comfortable guesthouse! The host is amazing, everything is so well thought out for the comfort of guests 👍 The room is very clean and modern, comfortable and cozy with an oriental touch! We were greeted with smiles and seen off! For our convenience and to help us navigate the city, the host offered a city map with markings of the most beautiful places and the best restaurants! Our stay here was excellent! We decided to book this accomodation based on the other reviews, and it was even more wonderful than we thought! This is a home stay, and it was great to meet the family and speak with them. It is very close to the old city attractions, which made it so easy to walk to them. The family were lovely to us during our stay. The breakfast was extra special as our host made sure that we tried an array of dishes, and he even went out of his way to go to the market to get ingredients to prepare our breakfast. It was really lovely to go on the walking tour, we went to the summer palace and got to learn a lot about Uzbek culture during the tour. We chose to do a plov making class with the family as well, and it was the most delicious meal we had during the trip, and we really enjoyed learning how to make the dish and getting to know the family some more This stay was excellent and made us really love Bukhara, we highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is located north of Bukhara's Old City, with most attractions within walking distance. The Saffron Restaurant on the 3rd floor serves excellent food, especially the fried eggplant. However, the spa service was absolutely unacceptable. The therapist had an awful attitude and poor technique. Anytime we moved or were too tense during the massage, she would reprimand us with incredibly exaggerated, disgusted exclamations, completely ruining our day. On top of that, it didn't even provide the relaxation we sought. What's more, the time spent changing clothes was counted towards the massage duration, which would never happen in China. After writing a two-page complaint letter, the hotel offered a fruit platter as compensation and provided a written response stating that ”other guests in our tour group” were satisfied, implying the problem was ours. Yet, we were independent travelers who checked in alone, so the mention of a tour group was completely fabricated. Naturally, this was unacceptable. After a 30-minute standoff at the front desk, the final solution was a 30% discount, but then the fruit platter was withdrawn. As an incredibly arrogant hotel, I do not recommend staying here. They didn't even replenish toothpaste during daily cleanings. However, the rooftop restaurant is still recommended, with an average cost of around 200 CNY per person.

Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality. Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay. Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center. PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.

We had a wonderful stay at Safia Plaza Bukhara. The room was very spacious, bright, and beautifully designed in a modern style. And don’t worry about the brightness, the blackout curtains do an excellent job of keeping the room completely dark when you need to sleep. The hotel is in a great location. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Lyabi-Hauz, and there is a large Korzinka supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The staff were absolutely wonderful very kind, welcoming, and helpful. They kindly allowed us to check in early, and we were also able to check out a little later, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was another highlight. There was a great variety of food, including fresh fruit, nuts, different types of samsa, plov, chicken, and many other options. Overall, Safia Plaza is a stylish, clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, and the friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

This was by far the best hotel during our entire Uzbekistan trip. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse, the facilities were top-notch, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service.
