Spa hotels in Bukhara

The hotel is located north of Bukhara's Old City, with most attractions within walking distance. The Saffron Restaurant on the 3rd floor serves excellent food, especially the fried eggplant. However, the spa service was absolutely unacceptable. The therapist had an awful attitude and poor technique. Anytime we moved or were too tense during the massage, she would reprimand us with incredibly exaggerated, disgusted exclamations, completely ruining our day. On top of that, it didn't even provide the relaxation we sought. What's more, the time spent changing clothes was counted towards the massage duration, which would never happen in China. After writing a two-page complaint letter, the hotel offered a fruit platter as compensation and provided a written response stating that ”other guests in our tour group” were satisfied, implying the problem was ours. Yet, we were independent travelers who checked in alone, so the mention of a tour group was completely fabricated. Naturally, this was unacceptable. After a 30-minute standoff at the front desk, the final solution was a 30% discount, but then the fruit platter was withdrawn. As an incredibly arrogant hotel, I do not recommend staying here. They didn't even replenish toothpaste during daily cleanings. However, the rooftop restaurant is still recommended, with an average cost of around 200 CNY per person.

В номере не было бутылки с питьевой водой, но ее выдали на ресепшн по запросу. Также не были настроены каналы на ТВ. В остальном нормальная гостиница, удобно расположена (несколько минут пешком до Шуховской башни, колхозного рынка и Цитадели Арк). Напротив - небольшой продуктовый магазин с очень милой продавщицей.

Nice service . Staff are nice and care. The rooftop is so nice to visit and have dinner. Best view for the sun set.

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. The hotel is located a bit far from the city center, but a taxi ride is only about 100 rubles. The rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent. Breakfasts are European style with several tasty options. There's a gym (a suggestion: please add dumbbells lighter than 14 kg) and a sauna and a hammam. The pool is small, about 2x2 meters. Overall, I really liked everything.

About 500 meters from the old town, you will pass through a very dirty construction site. Next to Wyndham. The facilities are very poor. The shower water can only be turned on hot, otherwise it is cold and hot. The network is very slow. The sound insulation is very poor. There are people partying at 2 o'clock in the morning. The front desk service is very good. They helped me call a taxi several times. Every time I called a taxi, the location here seemed to be inaccurate. The breakfast was not very good, there was no milk.
