The beach is amazing, the location of the hotel is amazing, the beach is right out of the hotel lobby
The facilities are a bit outdated, but there's nothing we can do about it, the hotel is too old. There is also the laid-back style of Barbadian people, so don’t be impatient and wait slowly when you ask for something.
During my five-day stay, a water pipe burst. I was covered in sweat and couldn't take a shower. This is a bit specific.
Others are very satisfied

From previous reviews, I was a little concerned about staying here. But in reality, from the moment that we were shown to the room, i thought the room was nice and light and the deco was not as bad as i was led to believe. Having booked a beachfront room was my good move. Our room is a corner one with 2 bacolnies overlooking the beaches. The bed was comfortable and we slept well on both nights. It is true that the furnitures in the room needed updating because the drawers did not close properly and the appearances were dated.

fantastic location in one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. rooms were very nice and looks like renovated, great view. Friendliest crew everywhere front desk, beach, concierge, restaurant. However, the Property is looking old, and a bit run down on the exterior. Not many amenities, very small pool, only one restaurant option. The gorgeous building (stilts) on the ocean has been shut down many years ago and its inaccessible (unbelievably)

It’s off the path a little which is nice that it’s not off a main road. Private beach was right there and perfect location. I would go back definitely. A little high priced I feel and the other hotels are probably a little nicer but the bed was very comfortable and it was perfect in all other ways.

Its a nice hotel, the staff is very sweet, polite, and accommodating. Yes, it is showing its age but it didn't matter to me that much - I came to explore and experience Barbados not a hotel. The horses do come every morning bright and early to the beach and that was the best. We would eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant and just watch the horses. The restaurant is fine, the breakfast buffet is enjoyable with a lot of variety. Reviewers complained about it but I didn't notice the food being bad or the service being very slow - I chalked it up to Island time and I was not in a hurry to get anywhere. I would stay here again.
