Great location close to many things, malls, entertainment, etc. Staff was helpful

Location is good but air conditioning can not adjust.

When I encountered a fire, I opened the door and stood in the corridor for a while. The staff ran around, but no one told me to evacuate. So I didn't have to go out. The fire kept going. I opened the curtains and looked out. The staff who had evacuated to the open space saw me and gestured to let me go outdoors, when the fire trucks came. They did not effectively organize, supervise, and check the evacuation of guests, but the fire was not serious. On the last day, the house keeping took us away from the cups with the toothbrushes. It should be obvious that it is not rubbish, because there are toothbrush and toothpaste inside, as well as dental floss and interdental brush. And, there was no problem with the release of the previous few days. strange. The attitude of the individual waiters at the front desk was cold. Others are acceptable.

This hotel is one of the top 5 hotels in terms of satisfaction. The gym, restaurant, bar and lobby are very cozy; The breakfast is great; The gym equipment, especially the treadmill, is the best I've ever stayed in; Nearby restaurants, bars and museums are all very close; The parking lot is large; The guest rooms are very comfortable; The only downside is that the swimming pool is too shallow

I have been staying at this hotel almost a year regularly for my college student. Started staying in Aug 2023 and had what will be my final stay in August 2024. I’ve stayed so much I had basically become a platinum elite is just over a year. My visit in May 2024 was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. However, when I returned in July 2024 it was clear things had changed. There were several room issues that were reported to the front desk that I almost felt bad having to report them. The biggest things were a leaky shower head that we had to put towels under as to not hear it constantly leaking and our room being across from the laundry room which at 6:00AM every morning it sounded like a big party was going on in there. They left the doors opened to the room and were exceptionally loud. Of note this was the king bedroom suite so really the biggest room they offer and probably should not of been placed in that location. But my most recent visit to this location in August 2024 was beyond acceptable from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The woman at the front desk was far from friendly, rude and had no clue what she was doing. I extended my trip by a day due to necessity and she swore up and down that this would not be an issue and it would be noted that we were occupying the room and extra night. Starting at 10:30 AM housekeeping started coming into the room and waking up my daughter who was just exhausted from having to move furniture up stairs to her new living space. She had some help but due to medical issues I could not do much. However even before that at 7:30ish there was a horrible noise of what was house keeping banging their carts around to get through a single width door. This resulted in a hotel guest thinking it was my room making the noise and calling us. We were sleeping so between the noise and call it woke us up. So I asked to speak to the manager to complain about the issues and I had to wait 15 minutes for him to even come out. He was inattentive and seemed like I was an inconvenience to him. He said he would investigate. I also reported that our key card worked to get into our room but not the outside door so I thought they should look into it. They just gave us new cards that had the same issue. Unfortunately, I had to go to housekeeping that day to ask for extra toilet paper. They only gave us 1 roll when we checked in. She had no idea what I was asking for so I finally found it on her cart and pointed to it and she gave it to me. There is no way to communicate what a room needs unless they clean it everyday which they have the save the planet kind of policy so they don’t clean everyday. Which I am not bothered by but would be nice to of had 2 rolls to start. Also given we were in a 2 queen bed room we should have had extra towels and did not to start with. That night I spoke again to the same front office staff about how I wanted a noon check out my final day. Again she said it w

This Hampton is in a nice location by many restaurants, stores or whatever else you may need. Rooms are clean and quiet. I would stay here again. The only thing unusual about this Hampton is the customer service is not what you usually see at a Hilton property. There is no welcome when you arrive. I arrived to 2 employees complaining about another employee that continued through the whole check in. Stayed here 5 nights. Never heard a good morning or hello from any of the employees. I said good morning the first morning and the woman at the desk literally made a grunting noise in response. I would still stay here again cause I don’t need a lot of interaction or pampering, but it was definitely a different vibe than other Hilton properties I have stayed at.

After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. We stayed just one night at the BW Rochester Marketplace Inn and that was good enough for me. The pros--the staff were very friendly and the rooms were (mostly updated). It's in a good location, just a few minutes off I-90, but in an area with a lot of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was good (although crazy crowded)--it included eggs, bacon, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, cereal and fruit. The cons--the rooms were only mostly updated...my bathroom had peeling wallpaper and the fixtures were rusty. I didn't love that. Also, it was very, very noisy. We had some sort of sports teams staying in the hotel and they were running through the hallways and loud in the rooms around me until very late. and then the fire alarm went off early in the morning. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep and were actually on the road two hours earlier than planned.

Suite was clean. But pets next door and across were barking...Bathroom was part of the bedroom, so any one staying in the suite had to go thru the bedroom to get to it. Breakfast was OK, simple, eggs were dry and they ran out of some selections by late morning. Better food at Cracker Barrel!
