The Hotel is clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is rather close to attractions such as HongYaDong and JieFangBei, and is convenient as it is very close to XiaoShiZi station (Line 1, Exit 6). Only thing to take note is that the hotel is within an office building so during peak hours on the weekdays, the lifts are often full and you may need to wait 10-15mins to board an available lift, so try to avoid heading out during peak hours (there is a sign at the lift lobby on the 22nd floor indicating these hours). Other than that, the stay was great 👍🏻

Lovely local minsu overlooking the river n mountain.  The minsu was located on the walking street not far from the jetty when we arrived from wulong.   The lady host was welcoming n helpful in accommodating our request for late lunch n non spicy cooking. There is a rocking chair in the balcony that looks into the calming river n mountain.  It is misty in the evening n early am. It was a comfortable stay w lovely view.

We stayed at the Walling Hotel for 5 nights and were very satisfied. The hotel is located right in the center. The reception staff were very nice and willing to help at any time. We are foreigners who do not speak Chinese, but we communicated very well through WeChat. Upon arrival, a cooled room was waiting for us, as it was hot that day. We also had a plate of fruit ready. From the first impression, we felt comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I also appreciate the work of the maid who cleaned our room every day. I am also very grateful for the help with the laundry. I also want to mention the delicious breakfast in the stylish noodle restaurant. I recommend this hotel to everyone. If I return to Chongqing, we will definitely stay here again.

The room is clean and big. I booked a room with a bathtub and a balcony. The location is convenient and easy to find. It is the first one you take the elevator up from the South Gate Tourist Information Center. The owner is warm and helpful. He even picked us up. He has a cat 🐱 that you can touch. It is very well behaved. Unfortunately, when I wanted to hug it again the next day, it slipped out to play and I didn't see it. There is a pier downstairs where you can take a boat. I also saw the stars at night. The lights are turned on at 7pm. There are many lanterns, which are very beautiful. It was off-season when I went there. There were not many tourists. It was quiet. It was nice to walk around and relax. The water of Wujiang River is as green as emerald, which is very beautiful.

This hotel is far exceed my expectations. Location is great and convenience to tourist attractions. It is near to train/bus station. You can walk 2-10 minutes to Chongqing Museum Art, Jiafangfei Square, Hongyadong, Huxinglou Square. It also near to Lizaba station, Chongqing Zoo, Three Gorge Museum, Wide Tea (Sunset Cafe) by drive. The rooms are clean in every part of it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Their services/hospitalities are amazing with their professional. Staff and Housekeepers always give us smile which make us feel more warmth. Local food court is everywhere nearby hotel. I would stay here again if I have a chance to visit Chongqing again.

Service: First of all, the latest high-speed rail from Chongqing to Wushan, we took it at 11 o'clock at night. The little brother came to pick up the station, and arrived early. It was very cold and waited at the station door for at least 20 minutes. Thank you very much. After arriving late, I also sent a hot welcome dessert. The night before, I would ask what I had to eat for breakfast the next day and what taboos were there. Facilities: The homestay is very new, the hard and soft decoration is very good! Environment: In Ningjiangdu Park, the scenery is naturally great! In the morning, you can take the internal passage of the hotel directly to the river. And the location is also very good, it is very convenient to go to Shennvtian Road and Wenfeng Scenic Area. The meal is delicious, family! ! As expected, the boss is doing catering, and when he left, he also sent two packs of Sister Pei's hot pot bottoms.

The experience of this stay was really beyond expectations! From the moment I stepped into the homestay, I felt the warm reception of the staff. The boss's service attitude is super good, which makes people feel the warmth of home instantly. Maybe it was just after the festival when we went there, and there were fewer people, so the boss upgraded the room type. The room design is simple and generous, and the hygiene details are very good! The bedding is soft and comfortable, there is no odor at all, and even the corners are spotless. I especially like the view outside the window, and the morning sun shines in, which is particularly healing. The facilities are also very considerate, with air conditioning, WiFi, and toiletries. The location is also OK, you can walk to the surrounding restaurants, with rich choices, and you can take a walk in the evening to feel the local life. The boss's breakfast is also delicious, and such a careful management must be praised! Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and look forward to seeing you next time!

Our family recently stayed at Mountwell Chongqing (Jiefangbei) and overall, we had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of Jiefangbei, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The panoramic suite offered breathtaking views, and the room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, perfect for families. The front desk was exceptionally helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Special shoutout to 金金, 紫涵, 二娃, 小林, and 慧子 (Guest Manager) for their professionalism and genuine care—they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The lobby’s well-stocked snacks and drinks were a lovely touch, showing their attention to guest needs. That said, we did encounter a few issues: Sewage smell in the toilet (room 2902) – Unfortunately, the master bathroom had a persistent sewage odour that permeated into the master bed room despite having the bathroom door closed. We raised the complaint to the front desk but had the misfortune of encountering an employee Mr. Yang who was not only rude but dismissive and condescending when speaking to us. He accused us of being oversensitive and even insinuated we were exaggerating the stench to get a discount. He arranged for the cleaners to fix it. And by fix, i mean opened the window and sprayed some deodorant. We said that was merely a temporary solution and the stench will return. He begrudgingly moved us to another room (room 3702) and said the stench is gone (it is not) and he would “behead” himself if it returns (he did not). The odour though still present was much more tolerable. We visited the front desk again to feedback on the odour situation and on Mr. Yang. The front desk apologised profusely on behalf of Mr. Yang and assured us we would not have to interact with Mr. Yang again. Aircon issue – On our first night in 3702, the AC shut off automatically due to a floor-wide problem, but it was fixed the next day. Washing machine issue – after moving to 3702, the washing machine broke. We called the front desk and they promptly arranged for a replacement. Unfortunately, the brand new replacement washing machine leaked after the first wash. We informed the staff and they offered to complete the wash and dry our laundry for us while we leave for our day so as to not affect our itinerary. It was unfortunate but we thought they handled the situation well. Why still 5 stars? Because every hotel have flaws—what matters is how they’re handled. Aside from that one rude staff, (the team especially the staff we praised) turned potential frustrations into minor footnotes. Their sincerity and efficiency in problem-solving reflect true hospitality, and we’d gladly return. Keep up the great work!

The hotel location is excellent—close to many amenities, with Mala hotpot available everywhere nearby. Xiaoshizi Metro Station is also just a short walk away. The room was relatively clean, and the staff were helpful. I stayed on the 18th floor and the only issue was the water pressure in the bathroom, which was a bit weak.

We have booked the 70-90 sqm 180° riverview suite. Upon arrival, the hotel upgrades our room to one with a 110-130 sqm 270° riverview suite which we very much appreciated. The location is great, the room is clean and the staff's service is excellent. There is also a Nespresso machine in the room which is a plus point for coffee lovers like us!
