"Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! This is the first time in 17 years I've stayed in a hotel that satisfied me so much! It made my solo trip to Chongqing incredibly wonderful. The room had a huge floor-to-ceiling window, and the bathtub soak was incredibly relaxing. The view is also stunning; you can see the beautiful river view both morning and evening! The front desk service was exceptionally good; yesterday they even helped me fill the bathtub, hahaha.
If you're a fan of Junjun and want to see the Chongqing International Building across the river, this hotel is definitely a great choice (though there will be a bridge obstructing the view).
I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Chongqing, hehe, it was so fantastic!

"Location: Great! Right in the heart of Chongqing. However, be mindful that this building has a whopping 20+ hotels in it and the majority all share 2 lifts, so you'll be waiting to get to your room and leave quite a bit. The photo shows the building directory and all the hotels and services it hosts.
Room: OK. There is no bar fridge and the bathroom consists of a glass wall divided into toilet and shower with the vanity right next to the bedroom. If you get the tatami room, note there's no headboard so you won't be able to comfortably sit in the bed to read or wind-down. The pillows are very soft and the mattress is firm so sleeping was uncomfortable. Reception isn't able to provide a firmer pillow. There is no safe provided in the room nor was there any tea or coffee. You'll get 2 bottles of water each time room service tends to your room.
Accessibility: As others have noted, the floors have been split into two levels meaning each room is actually only half height. Our room was up a flight of stairs on top of someone else's room.
Facilities: The 'gym room' is a scam: it's an unplugged treadmill right next to the reception desk."

"Located nearby many of Chongqing main attractions as well as a Metro Station. The rooms was big and spacious, and the breakfast provided was good.
However, the staff attitude when we first arrived was something that could be improved. We had ordered some things online to ship and collect at the hotel. However, upon arrival, a few items were not accounted for, after checking with the staff on the afternoon of our first day stay, he mentioned to us that the parcel was rejected by the shop and refunded, however this was not the case, as the order online said delivered. When we went back at night, the night shift staff helped us find most of the other parcels but 1. The one parcel could not be found by the hotel staff, until I had to call the courier company for them to come down to check. While I understand that this is a complementary service by the hotel to collect parcels for us, there should be a better system in place to sort the parcels to ensure none of them go missing. In the end I spent all 3 days chasing for my parcel, of which if I did not get, I could not get my money back. I would like to commend the staff who helped us on the first night as there were patient and helpful unlike the staff in the afternoon who rudely dismissed us.
There was another issue of the Aircon in the hotel not working, despite it being 25⁰C outside, we were told that it was not possible to change the temperature as it was still winter. This led to the room being extremely hot even with the window open. In the end they sent us a fan to cool the room down.
Overall not a bad stay, however customer service for some of the staff at the front desk could be improved upon."

"I brought my daughter to Chongqing for a competition and chose this Loft for her to get some good rest. The moment we walked in, she gasped and exclaimed, 'Mom, look! Raffles City is right across the street!' from the floor-to-ceiling window. The view was indeed expansive, with the entire Chaotianmen area laid out before us. The hotel also has a convenient breakfast restaurant, which served her favorite cakes and milk, so she was full of energy for her competition. In the evening, we used the huge projector screen to play her favorite cartoons, and she was completely engrossed on the sofa, while I worked upstairs without any disturbance. After the competition, the front desk kindly offered to store our luggage, allowing us to go enjoy the Yangtze River cableway without being burdened. Next time we're in Chongqing for a competition, we'll definitely stay here again!"

The rooms were spacious, airy, well-laid-out, and clean, so we didn't have to worry at all about the comfort of our elderly parents or children. There was plenty of space for everyone to move around. Plus, the hotel's location near Jiefangbei made transportation and sightseeing incredibly convenient, making our stay very pleasant.
The service was exceptionally thoughtful! They proactively reached out to us in advance, offered detailed tips to avoid common tourist pitfalls, and accurately recommended authentic Chongqing hotpot restaurants, local dishes, and specialty breakfast spots near the guesthouse. We didn't have to bother with planning our meals; we just followed their recommendations, and every place served delicious food approved by locals. What touched us most was their attentive care for our elderly parents and children, constantly considering our family's needs throughout our stay. At checkout, they proactively offered a free late checkout, allowing our parents and children to comfortably nap and rest from travel fatigue. They also provided complimentary luggage storage, removing any worries about our onward journey. These little details were full of warmth.
Staying here in Chongqing was truly stress-free. Both the facilities and the service were top-notch. If we come back to Chongqing, we will definitely choose Kongshanxia again. Highly recommended!

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the bellboy immediately took my luggage – I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly kind during check-in, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local authentic eateries, saving me the hassle of planning. The room was super spacious with breathtaking river views; the dazzling lights of Hongyadong at night were simply stunning. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing instant relaxation.
All drinks in the minibar were complimentary and restocked daily. The Chongqing-specific snacks and custom bottled water were a lovely touch. High-end amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and daily face masks really elevated the sense of refinement. The dining experience at the hotel was also exceptional. Breakfast offered a vast array of choices, with authentic Chongqing noodles made to order and tasting truly original. Serving until 10:30 AM was a blessing for those of us who struggle to wake up early.
The Chinese restaurant's dishes were exquisite and delicious. The chef even meticulously explained the ingredients and cooking methods – every bite was a delight. The executive lounge service was also incredibly attentive, always ready to assist, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. All staff members I encountered were exceptionally professional, whether at the front desk, house-keeping, or in the restaurant. Communication was prompt and patient, and any requests were quickly addressed. That feeling of being completely looked after, truly made me feel at home.
This stay was absolutely perfect. I couldn't find a single fault, from the hardware facilities to the soft services. Because of this hotel, I've grown to love Chongqing even more! It's also very close to attractions like Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Hongyadong, about a 10-minute walk away. The service attitude was particularly good; they even recommended local hotpot places that were absolutely delicious.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the subway station, making transport super convenient. From Xiaoshizi, you can pretty much reach all the major Chongqing attractions within 30 minutes.
I got upgraded to a river-view king room, and the ceiling height was really comfortable. The city view was amazing, and the night view was even better (though I regret not taking photos). If you love high floors, this is for you!
It's a bit cheaper than the nearby Atour, but the experience blows Atour out of the water. The smart toilet is a godsend for anyone traveling in Chongqing with a sensitive stomach.
There's a huge variety of street food downstairs in the evening, and being on a high floor means you won't be disturbed by any noise.
The only two downsides: the elevators can take a while as they're shared with the Pinyin Hotel downstairs, and there's no parking! The nearest public parking lot is a 10-minute walk away, which isn't ideal if you plan on driving out to the suburbs.

GGuest UserThis was an absolutely fantastic trip! Both the hardware and the service were impeccable. The butler contacted us in advance, met us where we got off, and helped with our luggage. When we arrived in the evening, supper was also delivered to our room. The portion size of the supper was seriously like a full meal.
The amenities in the room were the most generous I’ve ever seen in a hotel. They even thought of earplugs and eye masks, and the shampoo and body lotion provided were excellent.
This package also included a superb dinner, which my friend and I enjoyed as an early Christmas celebration. The Basque cheesecake among the desserts was incredibly delicious. Later, when we were sunbathing and having tea on the terrace, a server brought us sliced fruit and some small cookies. In short, I felt that the hotel's generosity stems from a magnificent operating philosophy. After reading the hotel team's introduction, it's clear that their aesthetic, attention to detail, and employee enthusiasm are all top-notch. My only regret is that there aren't more hotels like this – I've already recommended it to all my friends!

GGuest UserA truly satisfying stay! I was extremely pleased with everything – the location, room layout, and service were all top-notch.
1) Hotel: The location is excellent, with a subway entrance right downstairs. Within a 6 to 15-minute walk, you can reach several must-visit attractions like Jiefangbei, Bayi Food Street, Yangtze River Cableway, Two Rivers Cruise, Hongyadong, Kuixinglou, and Daijiaxiang. The Cloud Eye observation deck is also located on the hotel's rooftop.
2) Room: The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views and a wonderful scenery. Sitting by the window enjoying the river view was incredibly enjoyable! The room facilities were complete, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure with a perfectly fine temperature.
3) Service: The hotel provided airport pickup service, which was very convenient. Any requests during my stay were promptly attended to by the friendly and welcoming staff.
My trip to Chongqing was absolutely perfect!

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly clean, spotless even in the hidden corners, which made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The facilities are new and complete; the air conditioning and hot water all work great. The bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again!

SShironamiThanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature.
The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected.
Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Jiefangbei, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Taxis to nearby attractions are super quick, and you can even walk to Hongyadong. This location was an excellent choice for my trip to Chongqing with friends. There are tons of great food and drink options right downstairs. And the breakfast noodles (Wanza Mian) at the hotel were absolutely delicious – I had them three days in a row!
As for welcome drinks, they offered a complimentary goodnight cocktail at the 29th-floor restaurant, along with red bean soup. After a long day of exploring, it was really nice to sit up there, chat, and take in the revolving panoramic views.
