This hotel is truly wonderful! The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light, and I could enjoy the beautiful mountain views right from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a perfect balance of softness and firmness, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The hotel environment was very quiet, with no noise, making it ideal for relaxation. The restaurant's dishes were also excellent, the chef's skills were top-notch, and every dish was a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Plus, the hotel's location is very convenient, close to the scenic area, making sightseeing a breeze. If you're coming to Huangguoshu, you definitely have to choose Kaiyuan Manju Huangguoshu.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

Great location and an impressive lobby. The facilities are comprehensive, and the hygiene is excellent – I especially loved the big bathtub. They proactively provided toiletries for kids. When we unexpectedly added another person to our trip, they upgraded us to a twin room for free and even included an extra breakfast. That was fantastic! The 'Pet Garden Restaurant' is amazing, with deer, goats, Peppa Pig (I assume they mean a pig-like animal or a character display), squirrels, peacocks, and even chickens, ducks, and fish that you can feed freely. The kids had a blast! I saw the constant-temperature swimming pool but didn't get a chance to try it.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff and other employees are all very warm and helpful. I was particularly impressed with how the front desk handled a guest cutting in line during check-in. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the hot dishes are delicious. The complimentary fruit platter and mineral water are of good quality. Upon check-in, we also received complimentary Maotai ice cream. The hotel also provides a 25% discount on tickets to the National Liquor Culture City. Please note that with this discounted ticket, you will not be able to participate in the tasting at the Liquor Culture City.

Facilities: This is a newly opened hotel, so the decor and amenities are brand new. The design is simple yet grand. Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable. Service: The front desk staff, especially the lady, was beautiful and considerate. She really set a great impression for Guizhou girls, haha. Room Size: The twin room was spacious enough. Location: Right next to the high-speed train station and bus terminal, which is super convenient. It's also easy to get a taxi or Didi to the city center. For us, who were transferring to Huangguoshu Waterfall, it was incredibly convenient. Since it's close to the high-speed train station, it can be a bit noisy, so light sleepers might want to reconsider. My friend and I are sound sleepers, so it didn't bother us. I forgot to take photos, but overall, it was really great.

Close enough to see Jiaxiu Tower, and distant views of the 'White House'! Choosing Sofitel for our Chinese New Year trip truly exceeded expectations, and the whole family was very happy. First, the attentive and thoughtful service from all staff during the holiday made us feel incredibly welcome. Second, the dinner privilege at the executive lounge was upgraded to a buffet, which was excellent value for money and solved the dining dilemma for our large family. Lastly, the hotel's location is genuinely superb. We were able to walk with our child to visit Jiaxiu Tower, Wenchang Pavilion, Minsheng Road, and Qingyun Market. It's truly a hidden gem of a hotel. The only downsides were that the room windows couldn't be opened for fresh air, and the room got very hot in the afternoon sun. Since it's this time of year, the central air conditioning's cooling function couldn't be used continuously, which wasn't ideal for a child. Also, the room's Wi-Fi was not great; the internet speed was very slow, often preventing the TV's screen mirroring from connecting. Overall, though, it's still highly recommended!

The hotel's location is pretty good, and I used points to upgrade my room, which was a nice bonus. However, I have to mention two things that weren't so great. First, the hot water kept fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold, making showering an ordeal of endless temperature changes – I couldn't just stand under the water comfortably. Second, when customer service reached out via WeChat, they asked me to include their nickname in my reply. It would be really helpful if they introduced themselves when we first meet, because otherwise, I have no idea which staff member I'm talking to from our previous interactions.

Both the amenities and the quality of service truly live up to its title of ”Tongren's #1 Luxury Hotel.” 1. Excellent Location The hotel is located within the National Customs Park at No. 5 Wuling Avenue, Bijiang District, just 1.3 kilometers from Tongren Railway Station, offering convenient transportation. The surroundings are beautiful, offering both the stunning scenery of the Jinjiang River and the cultural atmosphere of the National Customs Park, making for a pleasant evening stroll. 2. Comfortable Room Experience We booked a Deluxe River View Room, and the front desk representative, Xiao Peng, upgraded us to an Executive River View Room. This spacious 90-square-meter room features floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Jinjiang River, offering unobstructed views of both the mountains and the river. The room is fully equipped with a bathtub, refrigerator, and smart curtains. The mattress has the perfect firmness for an excellent sleep. The hotel also offers exceptional attention to detail, including welcome fruit. 3. Attentive Service The front desk service was particularly commendable. Check-in was very efficient. Xiao Peng, the staff member, was not only warm and attentive, but also proactively upgraded our room, gave us welcome fruit, and provided free luggage storage. 4. Extensive Dining Options The hotel offers two restaurants: Fu Restaurant (buffet) and Bijingxuan (a la carte Chinese cuisine). The breakfast menu is extensive, with both Western bread and coffee and local rice noodles, all very delicious. 5. Complete Amenities - Indoor heated swimming pool: Clean, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. 6. Tips The hotel is near the railway station, and the occasional train whistle can be heard, which may be disturbing for light sleepers, but overall the impact is minimal. There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, so takeout is the only option.

Guizhou Hotel Guiyang: A Review – Old Landmark, Genuine Hospitality As a long-standing star-rated benchmark on Beijing Road in Guiyang, Guizhou Hotel (comprising Yingbin Tower and Guibin Tower) offers undeniable heritage and convenience. It's right next to a subway station, within walking distance of Qianling Park and Jiaxiu Tower, and provides convenient parking for those driving, making it suitable for both business trips and family vacations. The lobby is grand, featuring local Guizhou ethnic decor. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with comfortable bedding and good soundproofing. The only minor drawback is that some facilities in Yingbin Tower are a bit dated, not as new as those in Guibin Tower. Service is very attentive; check-in at the front desk is quick, and staff proactively offer suggestions for local cuisine and sightseeing routes. Robot deliveries and room service responses are also prompt. The dining is a highlight! The buffet breakfast offers a full spread of Western and Chinese options, including authentic Changwang noodles and sour soup rice noodles. The dinner menu features very authentic Qian cuisine, with dishes like sour soup fish, Siwawa, and fried preserved pork with Houttuynia cordata root tasting genuinely traditional. The banquet halls and private rooms are perfect for entertaining guests. Considering it's a high-end hotel in Guiyang, the price offers good value for money. During peak season, it's advisable to book in advance. The only minor downsides: occasional elevator queues during peak hours and a short wait for seats in the crowded breakfast area. Overall, it's a reliable choice when visiting Guiyang. The Chinese restaurant also offers set menus with delicious dishes.

Our stay during this Guizhou trip was absolutely wonderful! The guesthouse's setting was incredible, nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The most delightful surprise was encountering adorable cats and dogs. Both the swimming pool and hot tub had crystal-clear water and excellent designs, making them perfect for a relaxing dip and some fun. The service from the front desk staff was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any request, and any issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. We truly felt a warm sense of belonging, just like being at home. Highly recommended!
