The HNA Airport Hotel Haikou is in a fantastic location, right next to Haikou Meilan International Airport. You can walk there or take the shuttle, making it perfect for early morning flights or layovers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-soundproofed, so you won't hear any noise. The service is warm and friendly, and the airport shuttle service is very convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. The only downside is that it's far from the city center, but it's ideal for travelers catching flights.

The main reason I booked this hotel was for the 24-hour pickup and drop-off service to/from Meilan Airport/Meilan High-Speed Rail Station (one pickup, one drop-off). It was incredibly convenient, with the hotel's own vehicles handling both transfers. I also had three bowls of noodles at the restaurant next door, which were really cheap, only 40 yuan.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the beach, just a few minutes' walk to the sand. The front desk and room service staff were warm and attentive, even personally taking us to the pharmacy. Our room was upgraded to one with a large balcony and a great sea view. The public facilities like the pool and lawn areas were well-maintained. Although some facilities are a bit older, the overall value for money is high. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety, catering to different tastes.

We stayed in a garden room on the first day and were recommended Alalei the butler's WeChat. On the second day, we booked a sea-view room, and the service was excellent. They proactively arranged value-added services for us. The breakfast was superb, and they helped us book the buffet dinner. Any requests we had for the room were promptly fulfilled, which was great. The complimentary desserts were also a delightful touch. After moving into the sea-view room, it felt a bit damp, but they helped us dry and change the bedding and added a dehumidifier, and the issue was resolved. We had a pretty good rest afterward.

The hotel definitely stands out as the face of Ocean Flower Island. It's located right at the entrance to the island, and its iconic twin towers are truly magnificent, offering a visual feast without even needing to leave the building. Plus, the hotel's location is super convenient. **Facilities:** The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a modern minimalist design. The facilities were very new, the bedding was pristine and comfortable, and the cleanliness was spotless. The bathroom was also very large, and the separate wet and dry areas were a thoughtful touch. **Service:** We checked in around noon on March 11th. The front desk lady was exceptionally warm and professional, making the check-in process efficient. She also thoughtfully provided us with a guide to exploring the island and even upgraded our room. A special thank you to the front desk lady for her service, and the bellhops were also fantastic.

It is a decent place mostly if you want to be close to the airport. They have shuttle bus. The rooms is clean and spacious with reasonable prices.

You'll find many Russian guests here, offering a chance to meet international friends. As an established hotel, it has a rich history of hosting numerous domestic and international dignitaries. In short, 'a Ferrari is still a Ferrari, even when it's old.' Compared to hotels that cost thousands, the South China Hotel offers excellent value for money given its superb location.

The room decor and cleanliness were pretty good, and the 2-meter bed was almost noiseless. I suggest they provide conditioner, that would be even better. The breakfast variety wasn't very extensive, and the main issue was that the plates felt damp. I recommend they dry and sanitize them properly.

I was particularly impressed by the self-service laundry room – the machines are new, clean, and there are three washers and three large dryers that work really well. Both the hotel's amenities and services are top-notch. The only downside is the lack of a bellboy, so you have to carry your luggage up yourself. We stayed in room 1030, which had an obstruction outside, making it a bit dark. Also, the entire 10th floor is a smoking area, which is something to consider if you're traveling with children. Despite these minor issues, I'm still giving this hotel a full five-star rating!
