A Memorable Family Stay at Atlantis Sanya During the long Korean Chuseok holiday in early October 2025, my family and I took a short trip to Sanya for some rest and fun. We stayed at Atlantis Sanya, and from the moment we checked in, it already felt like the right choice. The room was big enough for our family of four and so comfortable that we felt at home right away. Everything, including the bathroom and the amenities, was modern and spotless. Most of our time was spent enjoying the water park, which quickly became our kids’ favorite place. We laughed, played, and probably spent more time there than we planned. Breakfast was another highlight — every morning offered something new, fresh, and delicious. Those small changes each day made every meal feel special, and the cheerful atmosphere helped us start each day in a good mood. The most unforgettable moment came when my daughter lost her phone in a taxi. We were quite worried, but the duty manager and our butler, Farhana, stepped in immediately. They contacted the driver, explained the situation, and somehow managed to get the phone back to the hotel. I was honestly amazed — I never thought we’d see it again, especially in another country. Their kindness and determination left a deep impression on all of us. Thanks to the thoughtful staff — especially Farhana, who took care of our family as if we were old friends — our stay at Atlantis became something truly special. It was a trip filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments. If we ever visit Sanya again, there’s no question — we’ll be staying at Atlantis once more.

Absolutely Unforgettable Experience at MGM Sanya! Shoutout to Jelly from Guest Relations! Location: The hotel boasts a prime spot in Sanya Bay, with a private stretch of soft, white-sand beach. Just cross the street, and you're at the ocean—the sunsets are breathtaking! Facilities: Infinity pool + kids' water park + VR game zone—there's so much fun for both adults and children, you won't even want to step outside! Ambiance: Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the resort vibe is totally on point. The live music at the lobby bar creates such a chill atmosphere, and every corner is Instagram-worthy! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, complete with disinfection seals on the bathtub. Even the towels on the beach chairs were folded into swan shapes—attention to detail that truly delights! Service: A special thanks to Jelly—she was incredibly responsive and made sure all our needs were met effortlessly.

The Lake View Suite offered a great view of Longtan Lake. Although a shuttle service was required for getting to and from the suite, it was always prompt and very convenient. Gina from Guest Services was exceptionally thoughtful; she arranged welcome fruit upon check-in, and our kids loved the room's setup and the cake Gina arranged for them. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, and it was also kept quite clean. Overall, a great experience.

I recently stayed at this amazing hotel and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and attentive service. The ambiance was elegant, and my room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to assist with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options to start my day. The location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transport. The hotel facilities and pool, were top-notch. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and quality service. I can't wait to return!

We spent our 10-day vacation at The Westin on Hainan Island. A very nice hotel with a great hotel complex. The hotel is beautifully located. The ocean and its great beach are just a few minutes' walk away, or you can also take the shuttle. The room was very spacious, very tidy, and clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff were all very friendly. Damon introduced himself to us upon arrival at the hotel. I was able to contact Damon at any time; no matter what questions or concerns I had, he took care of everything. Many thanks again to Damon. We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at The Westin. Third time here and we had a fantastic family holiday again! Location, beach, swimming pools and gardens are gorgeous and really well kept. We love the different pool options and the room with direct pool access is so convenient with kids. I agree with other reviews that rooms could use renovation, especially if they used to be smoking rooms, but daily cleaning is impeccable. The open air breakfast spot is lovely and breakfast choice is excellent, Chinese restaurant is also very good and provided such nice support to celebrate kid’s birthday. Derrick Liu was so helpful to address any concerns, everyone on staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can wholeheartedly recommend!

The hotel has direct access to the beach, which was my favorite part of the stay. I spent a lot of time in the pool, it was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was also very good, offering a variety of options. The location is convenient, with several restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable, though not very modern. That didn’t bother me much, as I was either in the pool or the ocean most of the time. However, the bathroom had a persistent bad smell after using the shower or toilet, and the bathtub was old and drained water slowly. There is no self-service laundry :-( Airport pickup was available and very convenient. As soon as you exit the arrivals area, you just cross the street and walk for about 2–3 minutes to a designated waiting area where the van picks you up. The airport staff was very nice and they helped me get to the waiting area.

I was so thrilled to see a kitchen and a washing machine! In Sanya, you often go through several outfits a day, so I booked this place without a second thought! However, with plenty of activities for kids and many families staying there, it seems particularly well-suited for family trips. The hotel boasts direct beach access. You can simply lie in bed and enjoy the ocean views and sunrise! There's also a balcony perfect for moon-gazing, sea views, and drying clothes. The room itself is very spacious – a one-bedroom, one-living room suite. The kitchen is conveniently located right by the entrance, and there are two bathrooms, one of which features a bathtub. After checking in, we immediately made our way to Xinhonggang Market and bought an incredible amount of fresh seafood to cook back at the hotel! For instance, two medium-sized 'Xiao Qing Long' (slipper lobsters) cost 140, jumbo mantis shrimp with roe were 100 per jin, mango clams 15 per jin, red flower crabs 40-50 per jin, and black tiger prawns 33 per jin. What a feast! A huge shout-out to our butler, Meili! She proactively added me on WeChat a day prior, shared all the necessary check-in information, and even replenished our bottled water and beverages. She also conveniently helped us process our tickets online.

First and foremost, a huge shout-out to Sasa! She's an incredibly thoughtful and warm young lady whose service was consistently responsive. We had a minor issue with our room at the beginning, but she promptly helped us resolve it. Knowing that packing with a child takes extra time, she even kindly extended our check-out, and our communication with her was incredibly efficient and smooth. She also surprised our child with a small cake. When a typhoon hit during our stay, she thoughtfully prepared fruits and desserts for us. She truly is a warm and lovely person! Next up, the hotel itself. Our suite was incredibly spacious and bright, and the private balcony was ideal for relaxing with a drink. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, keeping our room spotless, and they were always friendly and quick to respond. The kids' activities and pools are shared with Hualuxe, offering a rich variety of options, so we never had to worry about keeping our child entertained – they absolutely loved it! I've stayed at Hualuxe before, and if their rooms are fully booked but you still want access to these fantastic family activities and pools, this hotel is a superb alternative, especially considering its much more affordable price. We also experienced a typhoon during our visit, and it was truly reassuring to witness the hotel's professional and timely handling of the situation, which made us feel incredibly secure. I must also praise the concierge team. Their energy and spirit were outstanding. Among all the hotels I've stayed at in Sanya, while the amenities might not be the absolute best, I genuinely feel this hotel boasts the most vibrant and professional concierge staff. Every team member was impeccably dressed and efficient. The young gentleman who delivered our luggage on check-in day (who seemed fresh out of college) and the foreign staff member who assisted with our room change later both handled the luggage delivery with utmost professionalism and courtesy. The first young man, in particular, politely wished us a pleasant trip and happy stay before he left. These thoughtful details truly enhanced our overall experience! However, there was one minor issue: possibly because of the planter on our balcony, we encountered small ants in the room and on the bed. Both Sasa and the housekeeping department actively worked to address it, but for someone with allergies, it was quite a nuisance for a few days. I truly hope this can be significantly improved by our next stay. Furthermore, dining at the hotel restaurant over the past few days presented some challenges. Except for one occasion during a busy period when we were promptly shown to a clean table, it was incredibly difficult to find a clean table during off-peak hours. Many tables were empty but left uncleared. I approached a foreign staff member, but their attitude in resolving the issue was quite unhelpful. They coldly insisted they didn't understand throughout our interaction. Even if there was a language barrier, they should have sought assistance. Instead, I had to switch to English before they would even try to help. What if an elderly guest who didn't speak English faced such a situation? Would they simply be met with such indifference? Overall, though, it was still a very pleasant stay.

We arrived at the hotel around 6 PM on the 23rd. We had anticipated the typhoon would arrive at 8 PM as per the forecast, but it turned out to be inaccurate. Even at 10 PM, the pool was still bustling with people enjoying themselves. Later that evening, I took a stroll from my room to the observation deck at the end of the corridor and noticed that the staff had already prepared all the sandbags for flood prevention. The front desk staff were very friendly, and our butler, Luy, was incredibly thoughtful. They even arranged for a fruit platter to be placed in our room while we were out for dinner. I felt the value for money was excellent. The facilities are comprehensive, and there's a supermarket conveniently located right next to the hotel's elevators. The road outside the lobby entrance was undergoing repairs, but this didn't affect our ability to hail a taxi; cabs were readily available nearby. On pleasant days, it's also very convenient to walk to the local market for a meal. In the evenings, the hotel pool was lively with many children, and the staff were diligently supervising, blowing whistles, and giving reminders to ensure safety. It's very convenient for families with children, and the hotel's playground is also quite spacious. By the way, in the evenings, both older gentlemen and young people could be seen sea fishing downstairs. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and felt very welcoming. The scenery here is beautiful, regardless of the weather.
