"I was initially worried after seeing so many negative reviews, but it turns out my concerns were completely unfounded! I highly recommend staying here! Service: They upgraded my room upon check-in, and I could watch planes take off right from my window – a truly unique experience. As for airplane noise, I didn't notice any at all. Dining is also very convenient; you can directly access the mini-outlet mall through the hotel's private passage. We ate very well for around 50 per person. Getting to the airport is also a breeze. We were going to T2, and the hotel shuttle took us directly there in just 5 minutes from downstairs. The gym wasn't crowded, and the facilities looked quite new. There seems to be a laundry room on every floor, which is very convenient."

Hotel near Pearl Plaza,Haikou
Hampton by Hilton Haikou Qilou Old Street is a mid-to-upscale limited-service hotel brand under the Hilton Group, located in the culturally rich Qilou Old Street area of Haikou. As an important part of Hilton’s Hampton brand in Hainan, the hotel focuses on the service philosophy of being "friendly, reliable, caring, and thorough," offering business and leisure travelers a cost-effective stay. The hotel has 133 modern rooms, equipped with Hampton's signature "Hampton Bed" for comfort, ergonomic work areas, and international-standard bathroom facilities. As a limited-service hotel, we streamline unnecessary amenities typical of full-service hotels, while keeping key areas like a business center, 24-hour gym, and self-service laundry. The location is a real advantage: it's about a 35-minute drive from Haikou Meilan International Airport and just a 5-minute walk to Qilou Old Street food street. The building cleverly blends Qilou architectural elements with modern design, keeping the Southeast Asian-style arcades outside, and using Hampton’s signature bright colors and practical design inside. As a Hilton Honors hotel, we offer members perks like points accumulation and free WiFi. Unlike traditional mid-range hotels, we’ve introduced digital services, including self-check-in kiosks and mobile room service, boosting operational efficiency while keeping the limited-service model. In 2023, we were nominated for Hilton Asia Pacific’s "Guest Satisfaction Award."

"We stayed one night at the Hampton by Hilton Haikou Qilou Old Street for a layover and the experience exceeded our expectations. The most practical amenity was the self-service laundry room – three washing machines and three dryers running simultaneously. For us, traveling with a child and needing frequent clothes changes, it was a lifesaver. The drying efficiency was high; we could wear dry clothes within half an hour. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively recommending nearby attractions and food streets. Check-in was swift, and they thoughtfully provided a children's toiletries kit. The breakfast had a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western hot dishes, freshly cooked noodles, and a selection of breads and pastries, satisfying both seniors and kids. Parking was very convenient for those driving, and with multiple charging stations, there was no stress about charging electric vehicles. Overall, this hotel has new facilities and practical services, without any unnecessary frills. Every detail is designed with the traveler in mind, making it very suitable for business trips or family layovers. We will choose to stay here again next time we visit Haikou. Additionally, the hotel is not far from Hainan University, adding a touch of cultural charm."

The Maikeda Wyndham Hotel at Haikou Meilan International Airport is located in Building A1, Jindiyun Bay, Airport Economic Circle, west of Meilan International Airport in Haikou City, Hainan Province. It is about a 5-minute drive from Haikou Meilan International Airport. Adjacent to major highways such as the Eastern Expressway and the Ring Expressway, with convenient transportation; Located near Lingshan Temple, it is particularly convenient to reach Qilou Old Street, Hainan Provincial Museum, Feng Xiaogang Film Commune, and Dongzhaigang Mangrove Forest. There are swimming pools, tennis courts, cafes, bookstores, etc. next to the hotel. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room, which can perfectly integrate your entertainment and life.

"This was my second stay here. Since I arrived late and my flight was delayed, I opted for the airport pickup service. Coincidentally, there were a lot of people, and the service covered two terminals, but it was still quite fast. I only waited less than 10 minutes for a car, no slower than a ride-hailing app. This time, I chose the panoramic large room. It was spacious, and I could enjoy the outdoor view right from my bed. The only downside was the long walk to the room. The greenery in the atrium has improved significantly since my last stay, but the hotel facilities still need further improvement. The surrounding area is still under development, and it will probably take a few more years to have decent amenities. It's highly recommended for transit passengers, but if you need to go out for business, you'll have to call a car every time, which isn't particularly convenient."

"I specifically booked the Hilton Wenchang Wengyuan to watch the rocket launch on August 10th. Here's an objective and honest review of my stay, hoping it helps future visitors coming to see the launch. The hotel's facilities are standard Hilton resort quality. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the food quality was generally good. However, due to the massive influx of guests on the rocket launch day, many arrangements fell short, significantly impacting the overall stay experience. We arrived near the hotel around 3-4 PM, and the road about one or two kilometers from the hotel was severely congested. This short distance took almost half an hour. Traffic control was in effect, and since we hadn't checked in yet and didn't have physical room cards, the traffic police initially refused to let our vehicle enter the area, even after showing our Trip.com booking confirmation. Attempts to contact the hotel butler went unanswered. After much discussion and effort, we were finally reluctantly allowed through. If we couldn't get into the hotel, we would have had to park outside, which meant walking nearly a kilometer from the outer road to the hotel lobby – extremely inconvenient. On the day of the launch, the lobby was flooded with a large number of non-hotel guests waiting to watch the rocket, making it very crowded and noisy. For dining, only the Chinese restaurant and the buffet dinner were available. The Chinese restaurant was fully booked very early. With all the surrounding roads congested, driving to town for a meal was virtually impossible, leaving the hotel buffet as the only option. While there was relatively sufficient seating at the buffet, the sheer number of people meant long queues for popular items like BBQ, and fresh items were quickly taken. I recommend dining as early as possible. I added the butler upon check-in, but unfortunately, on this peak launch day, I didn't receive any proactive important alerts. I sincerely suggest that the hotel, for future major events like rocket launches, further optimizes its service: proactively send out various travel and dining advisories to guests in advance; open a pre-registration channel for guest car plates, ensuring priority entry and parking for hotel guests based on their booking information; and simultaneously remind everyone to make dining reservations in advance to reduce various on-site hassles. This time, I booked a space-view room. Since I booked early, the price was reasonable. I heard that closer to the launch date, room rates soared to 3500 RMB per night, which at that price point, offers poor value for money. A crucial tip for future rocket watchers: after liftoff, the rocket flies southeast and quickly passes over the rooftop. From the room balcony, you can only see a small part of the ascent before it's quickly obscured by buildings. To watch the rocket's full flight, I highly recommend heading to the hotel beach. As a side note, there's a bit of a walk from the hotel to the beach, and the coastline has many rocks. The beach environment isn't as good as in Wanning. In summary: During off-peak periods without launches, this would likely be a great resort hotel. However, during a major event like a rocket launch with a massive influx of guests, the hotel's crowd control and proactive information dissemination have significant room for improvement. For tourists specifically coming to see the rocket, it's essential to plan your travel time, dining arrangements, and room type well in advance."

1. The room facilities are outdated; the waterproof strip on the bathroom door fell off multiple times. 2. Mold was growing in the corners of the room. 3. The mahjong room and the barbecue area were closed, but we weren't informed. The three-day-two-night itinerary provided by the hotel also didn't include updated information. We arrived at the mahjong room only to find it closed, with no notice at the entrance and no staff around. After searching for a while, we were finally told it was closed for maintenance. On the day of checkout, the manager called to ask for feedback, which was a nice touch – at least they showed good attitude. We stayed in the Phoenix Pool Triple Villa, sharing a pool with another family. The view was still great, but the breakfast wasn't as good as it was ten years ago.

Our stay was greatly enhanced by Gina. The room was spotlessly clean, including the bedding, and the overall environment was quiet and comfortable. All the facilities were well-maintained. Gina's service was gentle and polite, and her attention to detail was exceptional. Any requests were addressed promptly. Due to Sanya's subtropical climate, the room always felt a bit humid, but Gina understood the situation and quickly resolved it, also providing some helpful conveniences, which we really appreciated. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and getting around. Overall, the value for money is good, and you can see the hotel's dedication in many small details. Sanya Haitang Bay Wanda Realm was an absolute gem! The location is incredible, right next to the duty-free shop. After a shopping spree, it was just a few steps back to the hotel, making getting around incredibly convenient. An unexpectedly perfect vacation! The hotel's location is superb, right next to the duty-free city. The sea-view room offers a spectacular view, and we fell asleep to the sound of waves every night. There are plenty of parent-child facilities, and our child had so much fun at the water park they didn't want to leave. **I have to give a special shout-out to our butler, Bonnie!** She's beautiful, kind-hearted, and incredibly professional. She personally greeted us in the lobby upon arrival and checked in on us throughout our stay. She even secretly sent a cake and a doll for our child's birthday, which made our little one incredibly happy. She also helped us get the latest possible check-out time when we left, which we truly appreciated. Great facilities are a given, but excellent service truly makes a difference. Bonnie made this trip feel like home. Highly recommended! 🌟

It felt like the hotel mainly relied on the butler to fix issues, and the concierge service was decent, but everything else was just so-so. When checking in, the front desk staff gave off a vibe like they couldn't care less if we stayed or not. I immediately wanted to leave a bad review, but the butler appeared just in time, so I held back. Later, after I reported a strange smell in the room, the butler proactively arranged a room change. Around 10 PM, we moved to the new room and requested an extra child bed rail. Here's the key point – the attendant was a middle-aged woman. Seeing her age, I even helped her lift the mattress to install the bed rail, but she had a sour face the entire time. When she left after installing it, she even knocked the 'do not disturb' sign off the doorknob and didn't pick it up; I had to pick it up myself. Even worse, before she left, she blurted out, ”If you want to change again, there are no more rooms, alright?” I was baffled. You're just a room attendant, do you decide whether there are rooms available? Such disruptive comments only make guests feel your impatience and complaints, doing nothing to solve the problem, but instead escalating tensions. As it turned out, the new room had other problems, and we were tired and couldn't be bothered to move again, so we just went back to our original room. Because of the room change hassle, the next morning we realized we were missing two sets of dental kits, one adult and one child. We called to have them delivered, and here's another key point – first, there was a ring, which we thought was the doorbell, but when we opened the door, no one was there. Then it rang a second time, and we realized it was the in-room phone. We answered and were told the dental kits had been delivered and left outside the door. We opened the door again only to find them simply placed on the ground. We were in the room; couldn't you have rung the doorbell and handed them to us? Or if you prefer to leave them at the door, fine, but these are items meant for our mouths! Even if they have an outer package, couldn't you at least put them in a basket or something? What's the deal with just putting them on the ground?!

Five-star review! Our family of four (two adults, two children) stayed at this Atour hotel overnight in Haikou while catching a flight. We arrived close to 11 or 12 at night, and check-in was smooth the entire way through. The room was exceptionally clean, even the corners were spotless. The soundproofing exceeded our expectations; the environment was quiet and peaceful. After a long day of travel, we finally got a good, solid night's sleep. We booked a twin room, and the two 1.2-meter beds could be combined to form an extra-large 2.4-meter bed, which was plenty spacious for two kids. The room also had a small sofa that could be used for an extra person to sleep on, making it perfect for family travel. We were especially impressed by the high-quality toiletries; the exclusive shampoo and conditioner had a mild, sophisticated scent. Every detail was meticulously taken care of. Overall, our stay was incredibly satisfying. This is our top choice for an overnight layover, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Haikou!

Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s worth noting that the hotel caters primarily to Russian tourists, so much of the signage, tours and information are aimed at Russian guests. As an English speaker, this sometimes made things a little more difficult, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying my holiday. When I arrived, I had a couple of issues with my room. The hot tub took over an hour to fill, and the water wouldn’t stay warm while it was running, so I wasn’t really able to enjoy it. The charging ports in the room also weren’t working, although the hotel kindly provided me with an adapter, which solved that problem. Unfortunately, the hot tub issue was never resolved. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of food each morning. The swimming pool was also lovely—warm, clean and a great place to relax. My biggest concern was the fish spa. I initially thought seeing a dead fish was just a one-off, but I noticed dead fish in the spa every day during my stay. That made me question how well the spa was being maintained, and I hope the hotel looks into this. The staff were always kind, polite and helpful, and despite the few issues, I had a lovely stay overall. With a little more attention to maintenance, particularly in the fish spa and the hot tub, this hotel would be even better.

This was my first time in Sanya, and while I initially wanted to stay at Atlantis, the price was too high. So, I settled for the Sheraton, cautiously optimistic. We arrived in the evening, and after dinner, it was already past 10 PM. The kids were exhausted, so we let them rest. The next morning, I woke up, sat on the balcony, poured myself a hot cup of tea, and enjoyed the Sanya breeze – salty, cool, and soft like coconut, incredibly comfortable. In front of me were swimming pools of all shapes and sizes. The kids were bouncing with excitement! 'Yes,' we confirmed, 'today we're staying at the hotel to play.' No Atlantis Waterpark, no beach (even though it's right there), but the pools kept them completely captivated. It was a perfect, albeit exhausting, day. They have pools suitable for all ages, truly comprehensive, and you can even rent inner tubes and other equipment for free. The hotel also has an indoor playground that the kids will absolutely love. Plus, the hotel organizes nearly ten different children's activities at various times throughout the day, which are perfect for little ones to enjoy. I'm really happy with this choice; it's definitely a great place for a family vacation with kids.

The hotel feels a bit old and the rooms are like those in a budget hotel. The shower, in particular, was quite subpar. However, the location is excellent, with direct access to the beach right from the outdoor pool. Soundproofing isn't great; I could hear people's phones ringing in the hallway and the washing machines from the laundry room frequently at night. The mattress was quite comfortable, though. I wouldn't recommend coming during peak season; the prices are too inflated. The complimentary photoshoot was mediocre, with poor composition. But it was nice that they didn't push sales or force us to buy anything.
