Our butler, Cindy, provided excellent service. She was incredibly responsive to all our requests and even proactively offered help, paying attention to every detail. Her service was definitely the most pleasant part of my business trip. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. As a thoughtful gesture, she even gave me some of the hotel's homemade cookies when I checked out. Next time I'm in Shijiazhuang, I'm definitely staying at the InterContinental Shijiazhuang Fuli again!

I recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable. Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel. Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) – Below Average, Needs Improvement

The hotel has a great location with convenient transportation. This time, we stayed on a high floor, and the view was absolutely fantastic, offering panoramic views of the entire city. It was a really good experience for us.

The whole hotel is luxurious, tasteful, and hardware is excellent. It is the most expensive hotel in Zhengding District. But I can't help but want to vomit a bad thing: 1. The room and corridor 𥦬 The house is locked and airtight. Although the waiter said that it has been open for four years, it still feels boring to live in. The air conditioner can't be turned on. The waiter's eldest sister is very good. She also came to help. It still didn't work. Finally, the window of the room was locked and opened. It was equipped with a fan to blow, and the air was circulating. But the problem is that the large truck passing by the window is very loud, and the window is stuffy and hot, so I can't sleep. 2. In such a tall hotel, the breakfast coffee machine did not have a coffee cup. The waiter asked me to drink it in a column cup. The coffee tasted not to be said. 3. The hotel did not have any prompts that the simple slippers prepared need to be paid. According to our inertia of going north and south, we took away the road and changed our feet. As a result, the car received a call from the hotel halfway and said that it would pay, a pair of 25 yuan, I will go! Anyway, I will never live again next time.

I really liked the accommodation; it had a charming, antique feel and was located within the ancient town of Shanhaiguan Scenic Area. After checking in, it was very convenient to explore the town's night view. The front desk staff were very welcoming and had excellent service. There was free parking. There was also a tea table in the room with complimentary tea and coffee. After an evening stroll, it was nice to buy some snacks and chat. Those who enjoy tea can bring their own. The bedding was clean and hygienic, clearly changed after each guest – very professional. After exploring the ancient town, I found this to be the largest guesthouse I've encountered. The price was incredibly reasonable.

It's really good. In fact, its service has surpassed the price. The hotel is super big, the room is also big and clean, with a bathtub, the breakfast has a lot of variety, and the environment is particularly good. What I like most is the service, opening the car door, taking the luggage and delivering things, and the housekeeper added me to solve problems at any time.

Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.

I originally booked an executive room, but upon checking in, I was upgraded to a suite. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the check-in process was quick and easy. While we waited for our room to be cleaned, they proactively offered us drinks and even delivered welcome fruit to our room. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Although a few areas showed a bit of age, overall, I was very satisfied. The hotel also offers free parking. Right downstairs from the hotel are Dazhao Park and the Anti-seismic Memorial Hall (currently closed for renovation), making them convenient to visit. It's about a 15-minute drive from the hotel to Tangshan Feast and Nanhu Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant offers all-day dining, and the breakfast selection is extensive. The executive lounge has been moved to the first floor, providing happy hour drinks and fruit in the afternoon, and a light dinner in the evening. The light dinner was surprisingly good! 👍 It included six hot dishes, with noodles, wontons, and rice as main courses, along with several cold dishes and various alcoholic beverages. The only downside was a layer of dust on the headboard in the room, which was a bit off-putting. I hope they can improve their hygiene management.

[Internal environment & hygiene] Overall, it is good. The basic room area is 48 square meters, with spacious space and reasonable layout. After all, it is a newly opened hotel. The electrical equipment has a high degree of automation. There is no need to insert a card to obtain power. The electrical equipment in the room automatically turns on, which provides convenience to guests and also reflects the intelligence and modernization of the hotel. *But the air conditioner is really a mess, the room is hot and dry, and it doesn’t help with cooling. I can only turn off the air conditioner and open the windows to relieve the problem. [Bad review]! Also, is it possible to put a trash can in the toilet, which would be more convenient. [External environment] The hotel covers a very large area. The hotel as a whole is in Chinese garden style, perfectly integrated with the surrounding natural environment, as if it were a large garden. Green trees, fragrant flowers, rippling lakes, pavilions, whitewashed walls and black tiles create a picturesque artistic conception, making people feel like they are in a Jiangnan water town or an ancient garden. Every step is a landscape. , perfect for walking and relaxing. [Hardware facilities] The hotel is equipped with gyms, swimming pools and other leisure facilities. Other badminton, tennis, table tennis, etc. need to be paid by the hour. Building 8 is equipped with an entire parent-child playground, and hotel guests receive discounts. [Service] The hotel's service staff has a warm attitude. Whether it is reception at the front desk, guiding check-in, or providing services in restaurants and leisure and entertainment areas, guests can feel attentive care. The crib is very considerate, but the bed stalls are insufficient and need to be optimized in the future. [Catering] The buffet breakfast includes both Chinese and Western styles, and the food is of high quality and can meet the taste needs of different guests. Old tofu, pancakes, fried dough sticks, porridge, wontons, fried noodles, fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, various exquisite breads and fruits, etc. There is a baby chair. [Comprehensive] Overall it’s pretty good and can be considered a good choice for traveling around Beijing. I also hope that the hotel will continue to maintain high quality and get better and better!

Upon entering the lobby, staff immediately greeted me with a smile, proactively took my luggage, handling it gently yet securely—every detail showcasing their professionalism and thoughtfulness. During check-in, the front desk agent was incredibly efficient, making the whole process quick and convenient without any waiting. She even thoughtfully offered a warm cup of longan, red date, and goji berry tea, a warmth that spread from my fingertips to my heart. What was even more surprising was her proactive upgrade of my room—this unexpected gesture of care really touched me! My upgraded room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. The layout was wide and comfortable, and every corner was spotlessly clean and well-organized, instantly making me forget the fatigue of my journey. Shortly after checking in, housekeeping thoughtfully delivered fresh fruit, a rich variety that was juicy and fresh. This meticulous attention to detail truly made me feel the warmth and comfort of home. It was a perfect experience from start to finish, with service details meticulously handled and full of sincerity! This is definitely a five-star service hotel worth revisiting countless times, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who seeks quality in their travels.
