GGuest UserThe hotel was very smart modern and clean. Our room was small but we had booked a standard room. Price was good compared to other hotels locally.
The hotel is right next to the harbour and in the middle of a bustling nightlife. We hadn’t considered this when booking. Although the location was great, the noise from outside could be heard so loudly in our room at night. I actually thought a window was open, but it wasn’t. This went on till the early hours, music, shouting etc, so we found it hard to sleep. The bed was very comfortable though and the room spotlessly clean.
Tea/coffee facilities were provided in our room, an iron and hairdryer were also there. The bathroom had a good shower, towels were provided.
We didn’t dine but I did purchase a drink from the bar. After paying I was told it would be brought over to me. When it was the bartender informed me my card had declined and asked me to pay again. I did, however when I checked my bank later both payments had been paid out. Not very happy about this.
Although a nice looking hotel and great price, due to the noise level at night we wouldn’t stay again. If that wouldn’t bother you the hotel would be a great choice.
GGuest UserAll good. However couple next door were up 6.30. We could hear voices which woke us. (Thought the telly was on).
Maybe a polite notice saying please be aware voices travel through done walks.
Fortunately we did have an early start ourselves. Just a bit earlier
GGuest UserExcellent hotel - very clean and the room was very spacious. Only a few mins walk from the train station. Only this is i would have liked a mini fridge in the room for real milk for my tea and for cold drinks. However, the Nespresso coffee maker was nice and the lovely warm chip cookie on arrival was a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the centre of Bristol.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very convenient and had nice staff. The breakfast was also lovely.
The caravan was a fun experience but wouldn’t do again. The temperature control is difficult - either boiling or ice cold - also gets all the noise at night.
GGuest UserA very nice experience, staff friendly and room clean. Food a bit disappointing not everyone likes curries etc but we managed just with soup.
GGuest UserTrip.com has not confirmed with the hotel when we arrived there. The Hotel reception had to contact trip.com hotline and it made us to wait for a while.
AAsmiRuYha as always the best..we booked a 3 person room. The location is besides the harbour just in centre of all the hustle bustle as well as quietness! Only one downside the room that is separate than other dorm rooms is located on the top level. The heater or some pipe kept on making noise when ever the winds were strong or any flight went from above (I guess)
Positive side: the room comes with skylight..you are able to see stars and moon on a clear night..thus you can sleep glazing at the stars :)
CCThe staff was helpful and and the location was close to the station. It was near the city centre and there were many restaurants nearby. Check out was easy as you just needed to put the key inside a box. Only one problem was the lacking of hair dryer, which should be supposed to have one in the suite.
GGuest UserWe had the loveliest time here the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was about a 30 minute walk into town and if you are travelling into town at rush hour walking is the best way as the traffic was pretty bad.
The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and tidy and we were blown away by the service from the staff it really was lovely infact I was shocked to find they were part of a group and not independent as it felt the kind of service you would get from an independent. The bar and restaurants were lovely and the building was so beautiful inside and out we had a really lovely stay toiletries were provided and they smelt beautiful. thanks so much we had a lovely time.
