Wonderful stay at Hilton Budapest. We arrived early before check in time but the hotel let us check in early and we had one of the most great view Danube river king room -618 . This make our Budapest trip unforgettable with this spectacular views of Fisherman’s Bastion .

Location is walkable to Fishermen Bastion, ideal for those who wants to go early to take photos without the crowd. Size of room is decent with space to open 2 luggages (29" and 30"). There is water provided at lobby every morning so we are able to fill our bottles with water everyday. Gym also have water refill if needed. Bathroom comes with standing shower and bathtub too. However note that you will need to call for uber/bolt to get to the other side of the city which is what we did whenever we visit other attractions or popular dining places.

This stay was somewhat disappointing. When making the reservation, I specifically noted that this was an anniversary trip for my husband and me, but the hotel made no special arrangements. Even when I reminded the front desk, there was no acknowledgment or attention to this detail.
Other five-star hotels I’ve stayed at in the past, such as the Grand Hyatt and JW Marriott, have always paid close attention to special requests. Even small gestures like chocolates or a greeting card can make guests feel valued and appreciated.
Unfortunately, this experience at Hilton lacked such thoughtfulness, leading me to question whether this reflects the service culture here. The arrangements fell short of my expectations for the Hilton brand.

The hotel locates at a very excellent location. Many main attraction points around it. The restaurant for breakfast buffet has a very good view.
ALL the staff of the front desk is very helpful and nice.
I arrive on the morning and they help to check the availability of the room. They allow the customer to have early check in early when the availability of the room is OK.
Everything of the hotel is good. I recommend other people to stay at this hotel when they come to Budapest.
I will stay again in Hilton Budapest when I visit there again.

In the restaurant, there is a Chinese girl working in the restaurant in the morning. I think she is very nice and helpful.
However, other experience were all bad! The front desk of the hotel is rude, said that “because you book the CHEAPEST room in our hotel from Xiecheng, we can only give you a room with inner-hotel view! Cheapest room?? This is the first time I hear some describe your own hotel. And I am the gold vip client of Xiecheng. Secondly, the bathroom light has no battery, which other client’s comment said he has the same problem!
