The room is small and the facilities are like those from the 1980s. There are a few sheep in the yard which are quite interesting. It's okay to stay for just one night.

A lovely motel run by a great couple. The facilities are clean and tidy and comfortable. They are obviously building the business up and I sure they will do well. It's location on the SH8 in a very historical township adds to its charm. Lake Tekapo and Mt John Observatory are a 20 minute drive away. Good for summer and winter holidays too as part of the NZ Alpine ski area. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Burkes Pass Country motel! The rooms were clean and cosy and the beds were comfortable to sleep in, much needed after a long drive from Christchurch! We stayed here while visiting Lake tekapo and the drive through burkes pass was beautiful

Everything was terrific, especially the sheep and lambs in the backyard. My stat was very comfortable and I’d be happy to recommend this accommodation unreservedly.

Megan our host was amazing. Took us out back to feed the lambs which was cool. Lent us an air fryer for our dinner and graciously let me put my kazillions of ice packs in her deep freeze.
Clean comfy room overlooking mountains and farmland. Friendly cat who jumped on the bed with us for cuddles in the morning and two cute little dogs. Beautiful fresh roses in our room from
Megan’s beautiful garden.
Great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Would be super gorgeous in the winter with snow around.
