Soooo nice. Over 180 years old this place, and the charm has been nostalgically maintained without foregoing basic modern amenities. Staff was great. Continental breakfast was better than a hotel for sure. We admit we did see a review that the place wasn't clean and had serious issues, literally as we were on our way there from New Jersey. Made us really nervous so we quickly made sure we had a backup plan but when we arrived we realized the people who wrote that review should have booked a premium Marriott hotel in the city, not a historic B&B in a small rural town. There is absolutely nothing unkept, dirty or out of expectation for a very nice B&B here. This place just exudes historic wealth and leisure of the 1900's. They even have the original log cabin revealed in one of the rooms and we thought that was really cool too! Just a 5/5 all the way around. We plan to return in February!

I am a previous bride that used Seasons at Magnolia Manor back in November of 2022. My husband and I just had a Valentine’s dinner there and it was AMAZING! 7 Courses and there were several things I had tried for the first time (scallops and beef Wellington) and I am so grateful I tried them there because they were OUT OF THIS WORLD. On a very personal note. Just like every other venue or business, you are going to read about positive and negative reviews. Let me tell you about my personal experience at this venue. The Owner Jennifer was truly amazing to me and continues to be to this very day. We keep in touch. To say she is like family to me is an understatement. Now, you can go to any venue and they usually treat you like a number on a chart. At this venue, I was treated as a member of the family. Any concern I had, Jennifer made me feel so confident and comfortable in their abilities and their passion for this business. They genuinely care about you unlike other places I toured. The food is phenomenal and affordable. I can go on forever about how amazing this place was for us. Ultimately it is up to you whether or not you want to give this place a chance and have them as one of your memories in your lifetime. I just know that I am so happy I did and will forever hold this place and these people a special place in my heart.

I am gonna keep this as short as possible. my husband and I got married here in 2022. we chose to go through the venue for everything! it was a mistake. We just received our pictures two weeks ago after going through an outside source due to lack of communication from Jennifer. We were told we had to prepay for the possibility of having 150 people with reassurance we would be refunded after we turned in our rsvped amount. we RSVPed 120 people and have not been refunded for the difference. That itself is 1,770 dollars. We were promised a photo booth on our contract, did not get that. We told Jennifer we did not want a cake at our wedding instead wanted a dessert bar. A cake was at our wedding with no dessert bar. We never got our included flowers. Which we’re going to be for people in the wedding. There are so many other things that were either left out or done poorly. Overall highly upset with the venue and lack of communication. Unfortunately my husband and I now have to live with these disappointments from our wedding day.

Seasons at Magnolia Manor hosted our son's wedding. The grounds of the manor are exquisite, old growth trees, climbing vines, a lovely arbour for the ceremony. Nice fieldstone walkways. The hostess and staff are attentive and unobtrusive. They appear when you need them, they seem to have the timelines perfected. When the guests started arriving they had staff guiding them to their seats. There's not a lot of parking, but there were two shuttles from the local hotels that had been booked. The bridal couple requested a vegan menu and the chef did a very good job.

!!!Please listen to the negative reviews about this venue!!!! I was a maid of honor for a wedding at this venue in October 2023 and it was a disaster from the moment we arrived. We got there Friday night under the impression we’d have the mansion to ourselves all weekend since that’s what the bride was told. We get there and are told we can't start decorating because there’s another wedding happening before ours the next day Saturday. Why would you tell a client they can have a venue to themselves and tell them at the literal last minute they are going to have to share the venue with strangers? The couple paid for the entire house and land not a shared space. Then, when the bride understandably expresses her concerns, Jennifer replies with “what do you want me to do?” Your job?? We woke up the next morning and couldn't find our dresses and belongings inciting panic because some time in the middle of the night, her staff came in and locked our stuff in a room and told no one until the bride called Jennifer in the morning. We awoke to our locked belongings and the other bride’s family sharing rooms in the house. That was a huge red flag and it all went downhill from there. We were at a standstill until the other bride finally went through with her wedding 3 hours late. Our ceremony started an hour late because of the other wedding. Our guests started arriving with no where to sit because Jennifer has less than 10 employees so they were busy getting everything ready for the other wedding and then taking everything down from her wedding to start the decor from our wedding. Throughout the entire time, it was extremely difficult to find Jennifer or the coordinator assigned to our wedding. At one point, I finally found Jennifer sitting at the other wedding while our wedding was in chaos. The sweetheart table was put in the wrong place, there were not enough chairs for the guests, there were no drinks during cocktail hour and it was freezing with no heaters. The guests couldn't find their names on the seating charts or tables because no one was guiding them and the employees were still setting up decor and tables after the ceremony was finished. Jennifer said they tried to guide people to their seats but they didn't speak English…99% of our guests spoke English, and this was just an excuse for her poor planning. The majority of the guests ended up leaving before the “cocktail hour” was even over. By the end of the reception, there was no “parking attendant” as promised and our guests had to cross the street and walk up a hill to where they parked their vehicles, in the cold, some in heels, some elderly. It was completely unprofessional and appalling. I’ve been to many weddings and have never seen a venue run their business this way. They know how to sell lies and get you to sign the contract. Any concern you have, Jennifer always has an answer yet when everything went wrong at the wedding SHE LEFT without so much as an apology to the bride and groom. Now

We just had a wedding at seasons at magnolia on 10/23 and we could not be happier! If you know weddings, you know that having one with no surprises or little disasters is unlikely. But that is what we experienced at seasons at magnolia- a gorgeous wedding that was everything we dreamed of with no day-of disappointments! And that was because of the amazing staff at this venue. They are family owned and operated, and it is clear that they genuinely care about their bride and groom’s satisfaction… it’s not just lip service. Jennifer, the owner, is awesome and stayed involved and accessible throughout the process- just a text away. Even after the wedding she has been extremely responsive and has even called me several times to address little questions that I have. The only “surprise” we had was that there was ONE flavor of cupcake missing- a non-issue for us, when Jennifer found out a week after the wedding, she called me to follow up about the missing lemon cupcakes!! They have demonstrated that level of dedication and commitment to our satisfaction since the day we signed the contract a year ago! I was the maid of honor/sister of the bride and very involved in the planning and coordination process. The all-inclusive pricing was a game changer- ours included food/catering, photography, DJ, venue, decor, day-of coordination and event staff. They host a lot of weddings and do an amazing job of tailoring the decor to each couple. On the day of, Jennifer herself got involved in the decor, carefully creating a beautiful sweetheart table with the flowers we brought because she knew my sister would like her arrangement more than the one we selected! (She of course showed us before the wedding began). Because our photographer was one of their preferred vendors who work weddings at this venue frequently, she was able to help answer questions and even direct and help keep things on schedule the day of, which was super helpful. Cam, the head bartender was amazing and also stayed involved throughout the entire planning process- All the guests loved him! The staff was courteous, polite, helpful and went above and beyond and ultimately blew us away with the results! Food and catering experience was excellent- we opted for the buffet option. DJ, and photographer were awesome (we highly recommend going with their preferred vendors as it made for a seamless, smooth wedding day because they work together so frequently). The service was clearly amazing! The whole team, including vendors, worked so hard to make this day perfect for my sister and the groom and all the guests. We are delighted with the results and I can’t say enough glowing things about Seasons at Magnolia and our entire experience. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Arrived on time Saturday. Place locked up. No one there. Finally reached the proprietor who gave us the front door access code. Place was freezing inside. Called again and was told the thermostat for our room controlled the baseboard heaters in the room. It took about 6 hours for for the room to finally reach 60 degrees. Piled on the blankets and tried to sleep. Awoke Sunday, No Breakfast or anyone anywhere. There's a reason they call these Bed & BREADFASTS. Called proprietor again. Was directed to the thermostat for the rest of the house. Place is a fire hazard. Extension cords running through walls. No shower, only a huge tub that would've taken hours to fill. Left, did some touring and returned, again to an empty house. NO ONE NO WHERE. We stayed here in that our friends were having their 50th wedding anniversary party there Sunday night. BIG MISTAKE. Finally, 2 cars are there but I can't find anyone. Now the band shows up for the party and I still haven't found anyone. Called the proprietor was told her mother was there getting the food ready for the event. Found the mother. She showed me to the room the party was to be in. I hadda help the band set up. Back to our room which was still quite chilly to get ready for the party. Still no sign of the proprietor. Party was okay. The banquet room was cold also, even when it filled with people. Got to bed early Sunday night cause we have a long drive back to Charlotte the next day. Got up Monday morning. STILL NO PROPRIETOR IN SIGHT. Packed our bags, loaded the car and found a tray with 2 muffins and a couple power bars. THAT AIN'T BREAKFAST WHERE I COME FROM. Left and wasted $432.90 for 2 nights. PLACE IS A DUMP AND A RIP OFF. I could say its poorly managed but that would be understatement. Any owner/proprietor that has guests and can't be there shouldn't be in business.

Jennifer, Ashleigh & Cam (aka DJ Cam) went above and beyond to make sure our wedding ran as smooth as possible even when things didn't go to plan. --We selected the Magnolia Package, which included everything but the officiant. Jennifer provided us multiple vendors to choose from. It was our responsibility to reach out to them and select the ones we felt comfortable and right for our wedding day! --Wendy, the Florist, was spectacular. She took our inspirational images and took into consideration the wedding colors as well as the Bridesmaids dresses, and the results were beautiful. --We selected DJ Cam (also an amazing chef) and he did a great job blending our Latin music with today's top hits and overall dancing vibe we wanted for the reception. The song list he provided for us to fill out, he followed! And he made sure the names were pronounced correctly, which we highly appreciated. --The photographer we selected, unfortunately, could not do our wedding, and we were set up with Mike & Amy who are also vendors available through the venue. We had high hopes, but we unfortunately did not appreciate their lack of communication. It was very hard to get a hold of them. We did a couple's shoot with them to get to know them better after meeting them over the phone and in person. At this point, it was the 3rd time they had reintroduced themselves to us and had asked who we were... It just felt as we were a number. Communication got worse even until the days leading up to the wedding. Day of the wedding, we found out they were supposed to contact us to notify us they could not make it for the wedding day... still no contact made. We don't recommend them. We understand things happen. But you are running a business and communication is key. --On a good note! The wonderful Katie showed up as a back-up, and she had the most amazing energy to work with. We are beyond grateful Katie was our photographer. Things happen for a reason, and this was definitely for a good outcome. --The food, that is part of the package. It is literally made to cater your taste buds, as long as you let them know what you like and don't! Their in-house chef cooks delicious. If you need a certain meal prepared a specific way because the seasoning is maybe too spicy for you, please let them know. They are great at altering things. They made sure to ask if anyone had any type of food allergies as well. Zero complaints on food! --For Officiant, once we met Kira, we knew right away she was the one. She felt like family. She created a beautiful ceremony for us, taking our favorite movies and really creating a ceremony so unique to us that it made everything even more special. Not only that, but she shared valuable time with each member of the family and joined in as a true friend. --Overall, our experience was truly one you only dream of. To have it come to life? This is what this whole team did. Ashleigh did a phenomenal job with the decor. They have an entire room of decorations to
