Il Borgo Country Resort

Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our Sicily trip. Away from all the noises, this hotel offers a unique vibe surrounded with nature, countryside views, mountain views and relaxing atmosphere. It is very close to Gole dell'Alcantara. Residents can park their vehicles in their private parking area. The staff were super friendly. We stayed for two nights, wishing we stayed more. We stayed in the upper room, excellent family room. Rooms are cleaned daily. The pool area with deck-chairs and hot showers is great place to relax, where children could play. The restaurant was very cosy place with great food (although a bit expensive). Whole set menu was €35 per person (with dessert but without drinks). Definitely Recommended!

Staff were great and very helpful, Though we found we got better/faster responses to questions when emailing directly versus using expires messenger. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend

Typical Sicilian restaurant with really good food. The rooms typical the one I stayed was typical Sicilian it was just on . Was clean though

What a beautiful resort! Very peaceful and authentic. Friendly staff.

In the Sicilian heat, my family and I had the most pleasant days of our Italian island trip. The room was more than spacious for the four of us and everyone had their privacy assured. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone (we have been finding recently that some hotels are saving on towel service). The staff was quite polite and friendly, yet professional. The view from the swimming pool was magnificent. It is a slightly seculated location, which makes it a perfect place to take a few days out in the busy Sicilian tourist season. The restaurant was great, with short but well-prepared dishes from Sicilian cuisine inspiration. The nights were less warm than the day and having dinner on the patio outside was an absolute delight. The prices of the restaurant were more than fair. Highly commendable.

The receptionist was amazing very helpful and knowledgeable

Sicily Trip The property is lovely, lots of flowers and a very nice pool and sun deck. Our room was very nice and clean. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. We had dinner there and were very surprised at the quality of the meal. Breakfast was very nice and the service was great. We recommend il Borgo!

Hotel was clean. The food served at the restaurant was very average.

Very welcoming staff, nice area
