Family-friendly Hotels in Changzhou

Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff were very friendly. Although this is my first time in China and I was unsure of check-in procedure, they quickly got me through check-in and made me feel quite relaxed almost immediately. During my stay, I ordered room service nearly every evening and although I speak no Chinese, the staff were very patient and helpful to make sure that they were receiving my order correctly. The view from the rooms is incredible and the service at the hotel has been great. I highly recommend that if you are visiting Changzhou for business or pleasure that you stay at the Marriot Hotel in Xinbei district. It is also very centrally located with easy access to entertainment, shopping malls, restaurants and the light rail stations to travel to other cities in China. Additionally, the restaurants, pool, outdoor basketball court, coffee shop, and other services in the hotel make it a convenient place to stay if it is your first time in China or Changzhou as it is mine. For work related reasons my trip in Changzhou was extended and I have enjoyed my stay at the Marriot hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay here and upgrade my room to include the executive lounge (totally worth it if you stay here, it's like having access to an Emirates level lounge with a view every day). In summary, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and the services provided make your stay very convenient! I highly recommend staying at the Changzhou Marriot in Xinbei District during your time here!

I have to praise the Changzhou Renaissance Hotel! The location is good, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Taihu Lake when you go out. The design of the room is very stylish, and the facilities are also very complete, which makes the stay very comfortable. The hotel's catering is also excellent, and the breakfast is rich in variety, and every bite is super satisfying. The service is even better. The staff Ellie is enthusiastic and professional, and the experience is full!

Before check-in, Zoe housekeeper specially added WeChat, which was very thoughtful. She also provided free carrots for the zoo. On the day of check-in, Zoe housekeeper specially prepared a small gift for the children. The room was decorated with a Chinese New Year atmosphere, with snacks and drinks, which was very considerate. A children's meal was given to the children, which was very delicious. The hotel also has a children's playground, which the children liked very much and had a lot of fun.

The location is great and the hotel is very nice. But I went to the restaurant, on one of the nights, and it only works until 9:00 pm (but they start to stop serving at 8:30 pm and start taking the food). But in the breakfast it is very good. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and shops. The hotel is OK

During the Spring Festival, I took my children to Changzhou for a 5-day, 4-night trip. I stayed at the Vision Hotel the whole time. The front desk staff at the check-in counter were very friendly and provided detailed information when I checked in. They gave the children picture books, fruits, and dolls. Fortunately, they were upgraded to a superior king-size bed room. The various travel and hotel guides sent after check-in were also comprehensive. The hotel parking was free and it was only a few minutes away from the highway exit. The hotel is rich in content, the rooms are fully equipped, and the service response is warm and timely, which can correspond to the word ”international”.

The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. I am not familiar with the area, but it was near a small shopping mall and a park with many people dancing. There were some nice mansions near the park. I guess it would be unfair to compare with other bigger cities.

Very nice hotel, the service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic, the breakfast is also rich and delicious, there is a dinosaur park exclusive VIP channel and a special car to the VIP channel service (one hour, reservation 10 minutes in advance), if the time is well arranged, you can grab the first wave of the Gene Research Center, you can save a lot of time to play other projects, the VIP channel is on the west side of the Dinosaur Park Dream Manor Recreation Area, suitable for children to get there without walking too much, the performances are also very exciting, there are many play projects and performances, we bought a two-day package and only played more than half of the projects in two days, the afternoon float parade is also very good, but there are more people, many performances and the 4D movie (Pterosaur Rider) need to queue up in advance to grab a good seat.

The best thing about this hotel is the service. From the front desk to the executive lounge to the room cleaning aunties, they are always available and strive to satisfy customers. It is really worthy of praise. This family trip happened to have a family birthday. The hotel gave us a room decoration and a pound of beautiful cake. Although the cake was a bit sweet and I didn’t finish it, I was absolutely satisfied. On the afternoon of the day of check-in, they also gave me two delicious snacks. This time, the hotel upgraded me to a suite. The space is large and comfortable. I heard that the food in the executive lounge is not good, but after our experience, it tastes very good, especially my favorite shrimp. The service in the executive lounge is friendly and considerate, which is really good. The breakfast is also okay. Not bad, especially Hongjie’s special dim sum, which is very delicious. I will choose this hotel next time I have the opportunity.

Last year, the newly opened Dusit Thani in Suzhou felt good. I had a good impression of this Thai brand. This time, Changzhou Xiangyanghang finally chose it between the cruise ship and him. I felt that the price was cheap. I learned that the predecessor was the state hotel and it was in the park. The second is that the boys in the lobby received their faces throughout the whole process. I remember that when I went to Suzhou Dusit Thani, it was also in the New Year. The young lady who checked in in the lobby smiled and made people feel comfortable! Although the requirements are met, there is still a silk in my heart! Didn't you book the original price? Third is the problem of the room. There is a glass in one room, and the shampoo in one room is given two bottles of conditioner! Two rooms are at the same price, one electric curtain and one manual! There is really no harm without comparison! Fourth, the parking of the hotel and the guests who eat. It seems that someone is in charge but it is invisible. The sound of driving the door in the morning under the building is so noisy that I can’t sleep well. Why is there an underground parking garage not guided? I have to let the car park on both sides of the door. The opposite side is not quiet! It is completely contrary to the purpose of the hotel in the park. It is recommended that you can learn about the eastern suburbs of Shanghai. How to do the state guesthouse to be quiet and quiet, the room is like this, the hotel is like this! Good value for money. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms. Didn’t get the breakfast because there are at least 3 or so coffee shops in the mall in the same complex, including Starbucks. Friendly staff that speaks English. A rarity still in many places in China. Overall recommend to stay in this new hotel.
