Hotels in People's Square Area, Chongqing

All good and value for money for the quality of stay we had, except the location is not strategic where we need to take public transport everywhere we went in city. Not even small eateries were available nearby. Beware of many ingenuiene reviews when travelling to China.

The hotel is very spacious! And the special room booked Miss Sister also intimately helped us upgrade to a deluxe bed room, really great! The sanitary environment of the room is very good, you can continue to live again, but the water in the sink is a bit small, I hope this can be improved, the hotel's disposable slippers are quite good, the next day due to the price increase during the Spring Festival, I did not continue to live, but I recommend everyone

The hotel was introduced to have a swimming pool, so I came here to experience it. There are really few five-star hotels with a price of three or four hundred. The service facilities are complete, and the road signs are very in place. You can take the elevator directly to the room on the negative first floor, and you don’t have to wear a bathrobe to go to the lobby. The privacy is in place. The front desk service Xiaofei is proficient in business. He knows that you need to bring your own swimming cap for the swimming pool and told us that there is a Yonghui Supermarket in the square where you can buy it. When we arrived at the swimming pool, we learned that the swimming cap is 30 yuan each. Fortunately, I listened to Xiaofei and bought it first😂. The hotel room is clean and tidy, and there is a small sofa. It integrates office and travel. It is very convenient to travel. There are many kinds of breakfast. If it weren’t for the high price on May Day, the cost performance is very good. The afternoon tea, coffee, and donuts provided with the order are all delicious❤️I will come again next time

It is a big hotel in a very convenient location in Chongqing with a view of the river. A subway station is in walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The only criticism we have, is that some of the amenities in the bathroom were out of order. The water didn't drain properly, we had nowhere to hang our towels and the door handle was broken. The receptionists however were very quick to have the latter fixed, so these are only minor complaints. All in all we had a good experience.

The location is Shangqing Temple at the intersection of two roads. This hotel exceeded expectations! The room is simple and unique, the space layout is reasonable, the windows have excellent lighting, and it is quiet to sleep at night. It is a bit regrettable that there is no breakfast. Fortunately, there are abundant food around. You can find a time-honored noodle restaurant in a few steps, which is very convenient for trying new things. I must praise the hotel staff. When checking in, they took the initiative to help plan the route to the scenic spots. If you find that you are short of daily necessities on the way, you can send them immediately with a phone call or WeChat. The service response is super fast. It is also close to the subway station and bus station. Whether it is to Jiefangbei or Liziba, it is very fast. It is cost-effective and recommended to friends who come to Chongqing!

A nice hotel, clean and beautiful rooms. But be careful, it`s at the 7th floor of the building and there are no visible signs for it. It took me a while until I found it with the help of a local. So, go to the address and take the panoramic elevator to the 7th floor. The metro lines 1 and 2 are close, but not too close, you need to walk around 15-20 minutes to both. What I did not liked is that the breakfast is not really breakfast, there are only some individually packed snacks, coffee, and some jiaozi/dumplings.

The service is heart-warming: from the front desk to the cleaning staff, they are all very enthusiastic! I told the front desk in advance that I had trouble sleeping, and they took the initiative to help me upgrade to a quiet room and gave me a free breakfast coupon. The facilities are also very complete, the air conditioning is effective, the curtains are good for blackout, the bathroom is private and Wi-Fi, and the staff delivered the quilt to the door in 5 minutes in the middle of the night. This kind of thoughtful service is really rare!

The hotel is convenient for travel and has a high cost-effectiveness. It is more reliable to choose this kind of chain hotel when traveling. The staff are all very enthusiastic and polite, especially Xiaolin, who makes people feel very warm and thoughtful. I will stay here again next time!

Really nice and cosy hotel, with a good location (near metro line 2) and also quite a pretty view. The staff is very nice and helpful! Just be aware that most rooms have transparent bathroom doors so it can get a bit awkward when travelling with friends, but it’s not really a problem, it was quite funny for us. We recommend if you’re visiting Chongqing!

It is really convenient. We were delayed for a while due to something, and they also helped us to check out late. It was really a great experience. The location is excellent, next to the Chongqing Longhu Times Business District, and downstairs is next to the subway station. The facilities in the room are complete and detailed. In addition to disposable slippers, there are also sandals for bathing, and there are many hangers for hanging clothes at the door, which is convenient for hanging clothes.
