The location of the hotel is very good, right in the middle of Xi Street. There are food, drink and convenience stores across the street... everything is available, super convenient!
The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is Luckin Coffee.
The week I came on a business trip was the hot season in Sichuan and Chongqing, and it was extremely hot!
The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra electricity card to keep the room air-conditioned, otherwise I really wouldn't be able to survive!
The corridor of the room is open to the outside and is on the street. The sound insulation is not very good. The shouts and horns of the crowd at night are still very clear. People who are light sleepers should consider this at their own discretion.
The hotel CP value is still very good👍!

Facilities: The equipment is complete and well maintained. The toiletries are of good quality and can provide enough free drinking water. The laundry room is also very clean, with sufficient equipment, and the washing machine brands and products used are very good.
Hygiene: Hygiene is also very good, towels, tea sets, and quilts are all clean. It would be nice if the shower gel and towel could be a little bigger. 
Environment: The location is quite convenient, just next to the university town. There is free underground parking for convenience.

Service: The service is quite good. Basically all needs can be met. Food delivery can also be delivered by robots or directly by waiters, which is very good. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the room on the first day. Later, I asked to remove the cigarette smoke. Later, the hotel helped to re-smoke the room and there was no cigarette smell.

I just met a high school and middle school classmates gathering (35th anniversary of the high school) and specially chose this Trice Hotel, indicating that this hotel has a better reputation in the local area; The second hotel is adjacent to the university (Chongqing University, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts) and the environment is better. Very bad experience. It took more than 900 points to upgrade the room. One person checked in and was given a machine room. The room was really spacious, but there was no full-length mirror. But the toilet is pitifully small, there is no place to put things, the shower room is also small, and there is no door. I asked the staff and said that many rooms are like this, alas! I originally booked for two nights, but I stayed for one night and left very early the next day. It was really sad.

Take a taxi to Evergrande Future City Hall A and get off at the west gate. The receptionist is polite and warm. The aroma in the lobby smells great. The room layout is simple and fresh. I was surprised that there are disposable razors and body lotion. The body lotion smells very good , It’s the gospel for male friends. The breakfast is rich and has special Chongqing noodles. When it rains, I borrowed a custom-made Yinmo umbrella at the front desk. The quality is excellent.

The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape.
One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.

JJangusFor this price, you get a large room with amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the 重庆 cityscape. The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.

DDerickOverall, as stated by many other reviews, this hotel is the value-for-money champion. Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

The location is excellent, because it is close to two subway stations, Liberation Square and many places where you can eat delicious food. The hotel is also located close to other places of interest. The view from my room is stunning. The value for money is excellent.. My stay during these days was very pleasant thanks especially to the excellent treatment of Yang Chuan.

Room has nice views, we were able to watch ballons ascending on New Years Eve. Bed was super comfortable and sheets were soft. Our 管家小赵 was very attentive and responds to requests within a minute or two. They also provide free laundry service, which is an amazing deal! I asked to have my laundry delivered to my room as I was entering the elevator and it was already there when I arrived. Truly amazed with their hospitality.

GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Located in the Jiefangbei heart of Chongqing, this hotel has a very perfect location. The address itself is at Ba Yi road. The road in A-Z food variant. This is a pedestrian street with no vehicle pass through, except grab food motorcycles. It is a very crowded street. The night later it gets the more crowded it gets. But fortunately the hotel has a good soundproof quality, so we can still rest quietly. Thanks to Christ Xiao, the Front office supervisor (I think), who made our check-in process smooth. Your English speaking ability is very assisting us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is spacious enough, but lacks of wardrobe. Breakfast is very moderate. Not many meal options. But the Breakfast room is on the 29th floor, which becomes a bar at night with 360 degree slow moving so we can enjoy the Chongqing city view from top. Very nice service. The hotel is near the metro station, with a 5 minutes walk. There is a free laundry service that is very helpful for long tourists like us. Overall, it is a very pleasant hotel for our China trip in Chongqing.
