When it was the hottest in Chongqing, I took my parents and two children to live in the Squirrel Forest for a week. We were all very satisfied. It is suitable for taking the elderly and children to take a cool vacation. Write a review carefully for your reference. 1. Good location; in the middle of Qianye Grassland and Dafengbao, it is convenient to go to the scenic spots and the town, it is very cool and suitable for a quiet holiday. 2. The facilities are good; the squirrels are noisy, and the room they live in is clean and comfortable. We spent two days touring the scenic spots in the Yellow Water, and we didn't go out to play in the squirrel forest for the next 5 days, and the baby still couldn't bear to go. There are 3 tree houses, which can sleep in tree houses and tree houses. The boss is happy to sleep in tents every day. There is a fish pond where you can fish. My dad caught a few crucian carp on the first day, and big grass carp on the second and third days. The corn leaves and cucumbers fed by the fish taste great! There is a forest next to it. It hasn't rained for a long time when I went there. The wild fungus was not picked. When the fungus came out, the owner picked it. Although I didn't pick it, it was delicious! There is a large dam in front of the building where I live, and it is not on the side of the highway, so I can let my baby play freely every day. The house is surrounded by the owner’s vegetable plot, corn, cucumber, green beans, leafy vegetables, peppers... a dream life! 3. Eat well. The vegetable field is right in front of the kitchen. The ingredients are fresh and distinctive. I want to eat corn every morning. Roasted chicken and cured ribs wild mushrooms are highly recommended! 4. The boss is very good. The boss is a high school teacher with rich knowledge and high moral character. Our car broke down. The boss hurriedly contacted a reliable place to repair the car, and drove my husband to the train station to go back to work. The rooms is clean and new although the windows view is so so (this was not our aim for the stays). The over facilities are well maintained and the laundry + gym facilities are just good enough to serve the purpose. A good experience with this hotel.

The hotel is part of the scenic spot and is busiest from 5-11pm, so taxis are a bit reluctant to drop off at the hotel because of road closures at that time. This is mentioned when booking the hotel so it is expected. In saying that, staying at the hotel means you don't have to travel anywhere to be in the middle of all the action. The place had rhythm and pulse all day and most of the night. The hotel itself is an adventure to explore but be warned there are stairs, stairs and more stairs. We didn't find any Western food, but there is plenty of hot and spicy food around.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring JieFangBei. It’s also convenient for travelling to most places in Chongqing too. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and well made up. The bed was especially comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again!

A nice hotel in a prime location in ChongQing, very walkable distance to the shopping / food district, as well as popular tourist spots such as HongYaDong and ShiBati. It is located directly above Raffles City shopping mall, which makes getting groceries or looking for a meal very convenient. The staff there were extremely friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious. Would stay again.

The location, furnitures and architecture gives a unique feeling and experience so in general i think this hotel worth a visit. + The location was very calm and the sunset view on the river was amazing. + Large room with very high ceiling - The swimming pool is more a decoration than usable, it doesn't feel clean. I only swam one time and didn't feel comfortable. - No breakfast around and no laundry service. - The internet was pretty bad randomly, sometimes it's their ISP, sometimes it's the router so you have to ”steal” another room router. 4g signal pretty low in my room. Hardly usable for remote work.

Only 5 mins away from JieFangBei and 81 haochijie (night market). Only bad thing is that the building is under construction and construction starts at 9am on weekdays. Quite a pain in the ass if you wants to sleep in. Bedsheets are not changed everyday cause I see the same red mark on the sheets from day 1-3. Shampoo/conditioner are replenish everyday. Would be nice if there is do not disturb light is lighted when the hotel card is inserted. Hotel staff knocked and tap to enter our door at 10ish (and we are in deep sleep) and asked to do room service……. Hotel also provide clothes washing and drying service but 5 pieces per room. Reused trip’s picture cause I forgotten to take a picture.
