I traveled to Qiandao Lake in late August and chose two hotels that were highly recommended. I had high expectations for Minghao and specially arranged to stay in the second one. The result was quite different from what I imagined. First of all, I was very satisfied with the room hygiene and facilities. It is a newly opened hotel. The sanitary napkins and shower room are separated, and the constant temperature shower is good. What I was not satisfied with was that the balcony of the third-floor room was blocked by a half-person-high wall, and the lake could not be seen from the house. Even now, the balcony is not high enough and is blocked by trees, so the view is not wide. It is recommended to choose rooms on the fourth floor and above. On the morning of the check-in day, the housekeeper called and added WeChat, and sent the arrangement of special summer activities and the business hours of various facilities. The content looked rich and colorful, but it was actually very special. Most of the parent-child activities were set up in a booth in the lobby. No one organized it, and no children participated. The form was greater than the content. The outdoor swimming pool that I was looking forward to was far away from the hotel lobby and could not be accessed indoors. It took a long time to walk under the scorching sun. The road was not separated by people and cars, which was very inconvenient, and it was only open in the afternoon. Some vouchers were given upon check-in, but they all have thresholds. The two free ice cream coupons also have a time limit. I didn't have time to use them in the end. I blame myself for not seeing the activity time clearly. The main playground is not as big as I imagined. I personally think it is less than 3,000 square meters, but it is enough to play. Many areas in it have empty shelves, the carousel is not always open, and the ground in the overall walking area is really hard. Five apples were given as souvenirs when I checked out. The attitude of the hotel staff is also very good, but there is always a feeling of being forced to operate, and I can't feel it from the heart. The overall feeling is that they want to build a high-end hotel, but they only achieve the form, not the spirit. It is not recommended for vacation.

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

We drove to Qiandao Lake and chose this hotel. Xiao Xu at the front desk was very enthusiastic and fully met our needs for a quiet room. We were given a room at the end of the corridor. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very quiet. We slept well for two nights. The hotel breakfast was also good.

The hotel is excellent, huge structure with beautiful architecture. My only complaint is about the outside swimming pool, it was deactivated and I didn’t see any information about it in the booking page. I was very disappointed with it, because I chose this hotel mainly for the outdoor swimming pool. I don’t like indoor swimming pool, this one was open. The breakfast is wonderful, the best I had in China. The room is confortable, the view to the garden is lovely.

Bright made sure we got a 5 star experience. Because we’re diamond members, they upgraded us to a villa suite. There are lots of photo spots, the hot springs were great, and breakfast was delicious. Big thanks to Yu Duoduo for providing excellent customer service.

This time I came to Qiandao Lake with the elders of my family. The hotel is very convenient for traveling and the service is beyond expectations. The buffet is quite rich, and the service staff has been busy cleaning the table. The rooftop terrace allows you to take pictures of the scenery in the middle of the lake, and you don’t need any technical skills to make a film. Every corner of the hotel is clean. When we left the hotel, the lady at the front desk gave us warm mineral water for the elderly to drink on the way. Service details💯💯💯

As a base for sightseeing around Qiandao Lake, I think the location is good as it is close to the bus stop from Qiandao Lake Station and also close to the sightseeing boat pier. However, there are only restaurants that mainly serve fish dishes around the hotel, no restaurants serving noodles or other dishes, and no supermarkets, so I felt it was inconvenient for shopping. The hotel sold instant noodles for 5 RMB, which was helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and the taste was average, but I was happy that they provided hot coffee. Across the road is a tunnel theme park called the Time Tunnel, and you can purchase tickets at a discount from the hotel. (98 RMB to 80 RMB)

Every time I go to Qiandao Lake, I always find a different scenery. The location of the hotel is also great. You can see the beautiful lake view and rows of cruise ships outside the window. The scenery is very good. The room layout is also very good, very clean and hygienic, all facilities are of good quality, and the stay is very comfortable Breakfast every morning is also very good, very clean and tastes good

This hotel was amazing and beautiful. It was a really nice place to stay. The breakfast was very full of many dishes and the scenery was amazing.

We are really pleased with the stay at this hotel. Location is comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. There is even a nucleic acid testing place nearby which is important these days when you travel. All the tourist attractions are also easily available by didi ride (about 10-15 minutes). Hotel service is polite and always there for you to help you. In the lobby you can find a nice travel agent who will suggest you the daily trips and activities. The room and the rest of the spaces are clean. I would suggest though to check the pipes in the toilet because there was this characteristic bad smell. A little minus for the room amenities is the lack of a fridge. Hotel has a free laundry which is a life saver when you do a lot of water sports every day. We really like sport so we were happy with the swimming pool and the table tennis place. Swimming pool is big and comfortable but there was this loud megaphone during the day which made it hard to relax. Other guests could hear it as well from their rooms.
