Elysian Gangchon Resort

The black mold in the bathroom was an eyesore; it was obvious the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. The floor was sticky, making it clear it hadn't been steam-cleaned or mopped. However, I was satisfied with the location, facilities, and amenities.

It was pleasant and great for families. We lacked nothing.

Excellent value for money! The location is great, only a 20-minute drive to Nami Island. The facilities are convenient, and the outdoor pool is a plus! It was a fulfilling 3-day Chuncheon trip in a clean accommodation!

I made a last-minute booking for Elysian Condo. It had 2 rooms, a living room, and 4 single beds. I was happy with 2 of the bed mattresses; the others made a spring noise when I lay on them. They gave me a unit with a kitchen for cooking, and it had a mountain view from the 10th floor, which was nice, haha. Overall, it was quite clean. There was some water pooling in front of the bathroom sink, so it didn't dry well. The shower room had a bit of mold on the silicone, but otherwise, it was okay. For a 2-night stay, we used 6 towels per day, totaling 12. The room attendant I met in the hallway was a foreigner, and she was very kind. She even gave us extra towels and trash bags for our extended stay.

I loved how quiet it was since it's nestled in the mountains. Even though it was summer and still hot in the evenings elsewhere, it was nice and cool here! There were also plenty of amenities and a performance in the evening, so there was a lot to see and do at this accommodation.

The room is really great... All the rooms are well-defined and clean, and the living room area is truly superb. The view is really good, it's quiet and clean... Our company of 10 people even had a short meeting there, and it wasn't cramped at all, which was excellent. It's perfect for families and also great for company workshops! The amenities, whether in the basement or on the first floor, were also really good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation is spacious and clean, and I'm very satisfied with my stay with the children. The breakfast was also good.

I stayed in two family rooms (1007 and 1009) for two nights, from February 2nd to 4th. To be frank, I never want to visit this place again. Right from check-in on the first day, the front desk staff's attitude was incredibly indifferent and unfriendly. They even showed me incorrect reservation details on the screen and asked if they were mine. In the end, I had to find my own reservation details on the screen myself. On the evening of the second day, after a long and tiring day, we returned to find that the key cards for both rooms weren't working, so we couldn't get in. Despite informing the front desk about this issue, the staff maintained an emotionless demeanor, offering no apology or explanation whatsoever. I was too exhausted to argue further, but there was a complete lack of customer consideration. The room cleaning was also a mess. It was as if no cleaning had been done at all; only towels were left. The overall service level was below expectations, and I will definitely choose a different resort for my next trip.

This is a great place for a family stay. It's conveniently located not too far from Seoul, and the resort's facilities and environment are excellent. We really enjoyed it!
